Got a togo order from this restaurant I got Fajitas for 2 when I got home half of the food was not there and there was no tortillas It was late and I was on my way back home from work. When I called back to the restaurant they would not refund for half of the meal they would only have me drive back an hour for the food that I have purchased. Or give me some lame we will get you back next time. Ya I'm not coming back next time. I will go some where they can get there orders right. My wife and I went here for Mother's Day. It wasn't as crowded as one would think for Mother's Day. We both ordered the fish tacos made with mahi mahi. (I turned her on to fish tacos while on our trip to Mexico last summer). Well the taste of the tacos weren't very good. I think we both only ate one taco each. Thank goodness the chips and salsa were really good. They do serve some really good food here. You usually get a great deal of good food for a very decent price. The only other problem we had was being seated in the bar area and our waiter was serving tables outside of that area. The location is super convenient for my family, as we live on Lake Conroe not too far from League Line Rd. We normally drive into Conroe and go to EL Bosque, but decided to give this a try. I watched them build this over the last year and it's always packed when I drive by, last night was no exception, so I am very glad we took a chance! Good - The service is outstanding! I lost track of how many times different employees came up to us, on a busy Saturday to see if we needed anything, and to make sure our food was tasty. This speaks volumes about good management. The Menu is HUGE!!!!!!!!! It took me about 10 mins to decide what I wanted. My husband pointed out that having so many items, is only possible in Mexican restaurants because everything is some combination; of chicken, beef, or shrimp with rice, beans, and cheese. We ordered the Fajita El Riélelo: yummy poblano pepper sliced up with bacon, chicken, steak, and onions, layered with Monterrey Jack cheese. YUM! Hot Corn Tortillas make my mouth water. My husband also ordered the Enchilada Mole it was tasty too. It is a clean and well decorated establishment, with clean bathrooms. This is a big plus in my eyes! Bad- I tried both a frozen Rita and a raspberry on the rocks. Eh! Nothing to write home about. They aren't the worst nor the best. Ugly - Fajitas for two are about $10 more expensive here than at El Bosque, but they taste just as good. We left before the musical performance started, but the place was still packed. My boyfriend and I took a friend from out of town to a late dinner on a Sunday night. I have to say the they have a strong menu, check it out on thier website, with a large varaity of choices. If you are looking for fajitas, they have several "specialities". I had the Grilled Chicken Fajita Salad, the ingredients were fresh, I the chicken was moist and had a good flavor. The star is because no stars are not an option. It's not for the food or the waiter's service. It for the lack of customer service by the manager or waiter. We have come here to eat dozens of times since moving to the Conroe area. I come here with coworkers after work, we bring our kids here, we really like this restaurant. This makes me sad. There aren't too many good Mexican restaurants in the area. We will go to The The Woodlands or even into Houston, but this place is good. I am very sad we were treated this way. I posted a picture of a VIP discount card that the manager wouldn't let us use tonight. She said it was because we already got a "good deal" for the fajita "special". Never Mind that there is nowhere on the card that excludes that. So we asked to at least throw us a bone and discount the coke my wife ordered. She wouldn't. I know that may sound like nitpicking but anything is nice and it was least they could do since they screwed us over on the discount card. So they lost a loyal customer. Lunch special totally hit the spot!!! I decided to have a quick bite here with a co worker and got the fajita steak taco and enchilada lunch plate, which came with refried beans and mexican rice! The staff is nice but super slow and very forgetful - on more than one visit. For $18 fajitas I received 5 small slices of meat, no cheese no guacamole no pico- just meat and onions and tortillas. I asked for mushrooms to be added & I was charged but didn't get them. THe cheese enchiladas are ok as well. Prices are a little high. I've never had service this fantastic in a restaurant before. The staff was so on top of things. Our glasses were never empty and when someone dropped a fork they were there with a replacement before we even had it picked up from the floor. And the food. Huge portions. HUGE. So delicious. Last night at approximately 7 PM, I went in to order 4 meals to go. I was told to order up front and gave them my name. I then decided to have a beer at the bar while waiting . The place was very busy , so patience is the virtue. I then realized I needed to let the bartender know I that I ordered food to go and if my name were called please let me know as I am near deaf since birth.
