I understand the rediculous covid mask guidelines. Unless your wearing a minimum of an N95 mask, then there is 0 chance of stopping the spread. I went in to pick up my order, wearing an old dirty mask, that does nothing to stop the spread, with the mask covering only my mouth, and was told I had to cover my nose. I complied bc I wanted to pick up my $50 order. Hence, until mamma lisa decides to follow the proper guidelines, I will not be ordering from there until this rediculous mask mandate is lifed. I live in East Moriches and order from Mama Lisa on a regular basis. I have never been disappointed with their food (the eggplant parm and tortellini carbonara are outrageously delicious). We had asked for delivery of 3 large pizzas (pepperoni, veggie and grandma pizza), the garlic knots and zeppoles for my sister and her friends. What an amazing choice. The pizza was incredibly delicious. The grandma pizza was especially a hit. The garlic knots with the marinara sauce was also very good with great flavoring. And wow the zeppoles were good! I wish I could have eaten more, I just got so full. I tried to eat the pepperoni pizza the next day, it was not that good the day after as expected. If I am back in the area, I would definitely order from here again. read more

Been going here for Penne A La Vodka sauce lately. I usually go to Rocco's in Riverhead but this is closer and sauce is just as good. I order a pint or 2 to-go and bring it home to use. Delish. 2 pints is about $11. A little pricey compared to jar sauce obviously, but tastes so much better than store bought vodka sauce. Friendly staff. They try to be very quick with orders, especially when busy, and I always appreciate that. read more

Mama Lisa's was a delightful surprise. I expected the food to be typical pizzeria fare but it was excellent! The portions are generous, the sauce is delicious, and I rarely say that because I prefer homemade. Their eggplant parmigiana is exactly the way my mom made which I have never had outside my home! Quality of the food is excellent and the restaurant has a nice, family friendly atmosphere. The fall from the former glory of Mama Lisa's must have been a hard one. Tonight is the third and final time we will patronize here. Last time the pizza I ordered was extremely under done and what was melted of the cheese seemed to have slid off to the side. I very specifically ordered a "fried chicken hero" which is essentially the chicken parm without the sauce. I understand it might be a tad unusual but it is a menu item. When my order was delivered it was on the receipt as chicken parm but I specifically mentioned no sauce( the acid in the tomato hurts my stomach which I think may be an allergy). When I called to inform them of the mistake; I was completely shocked with the attitude I received back. It's a complete change in the past few months. You guys are breaking my heart. read more

Ordered dinner for my husband and I via DoorDash. My husband ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and I ordered a salad slice and veggie slice. Salad slice was decent but the veggie slice was the real MVP. Overall our first experience was a good one and we definitely plan on ordering from here again. read more

This place has become hit or miss unfortunately. Recently there seems to be a lack of crucial ingredients like cheese on the pizza and baked ziti, and a lack of meat in the lasagna. Terrible Driver On October 14, Two of their delivery guys, the driver being Ludwig Zangla, was in SUCH a hurry, they blew past the Stop sign, adjacent to 7-11, which is adjacent to Mama Lisa- and they undercut my car- on the rear passenger door & bumper area. My car was parallell on Montuak, facing East, waiting for passing cars,so I could turn left, & drop my son at work. He provided security services at Family League . My son is now admitted to the Academy for Corrections Officers- so God has resolved us driving there anymore. Ludwig told the cop- he didn't " SEE" my car- but of course he did- Otherwise he would have come up and AROUND the Driver's side, and properly turned left , and any damage would be on the Driver /passenger side door.. Mama Lisa 's hot food was tossed all over the inside of his green car. Ludwig said he didn't have "collision" on his car, but his " General " insurance is now paying $2500 in damages for restoring my vehicle. What nerve to say- he did not see my vehicle, when he deliberately went through the stop sign ( how can you NOT see that?) and undercut the turn and banged into my stationary vehicle? I WOULD NEVER ENDORSE or BUY FOOD FROM A RESTAURANT THAT HIRES SUCH INCOMPETENT DRIVERS WHO DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO ROAD SIGNS AND BLOW THROUGH STOP SIGNS. DO OTHER DRIVERS A FAVOR AND SUSPEND HIM FROM DRIVING.OR FIND A NEW DRIVER WITH BETTER EYESIGHT. read more

Curbside pickup is a disaster. If you have kids in the car, skip pizza and have it delivered. They take the order, then no one monitors the actual pickup lane or the order as they are filled. Had to call in to ask where my order was after waiting 20 additional minutes from the 25 minute ready time they gave. I even told them in in the parking lot so I can get it soon as it was ready. Needless to say by the time I called wondering where my order was, the food came out luke warm. Total of 45 minutes for 4 slices and a side of meatballs. Worst experience. Ordered at 7:00 pm and paid online for a Sicilian pie (among other items) Delivery arrived at 8:20pm and it's a regular pie. Call the restaurant and they said they will send a Sicilian out. Driver arrived at 9pm with the new pie and we proceeded to give him another tip for the travel and he says the restaurant wants the other pie back. First off after 2 hours my kids were starving and needed to eat something, 2nd your mistake so you'd think you'd let that 15.00 go, 3rd it's illegal to take food back in any establishment once it's been given to a customer, what exactly were you gonna do with that 2 hour old pie?. I grew up eating here when they had the old location down the road. My husband (boyfriend then) used to take me on dates there and the pizza and ziti was amazing. Still the same nice place but I feel like they lost their touch a little bit with the pizza so that's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that, great atmosphere! read more
