dined 2 nights this week here and I don't get the low reviews. We were seated immediately from the door. Service was prompt. food was reasonably good, (but a touch salty), but the real surprise was how incredibly friendly all the staff was. Nick served us one night, and was great, and Tiffany (I think was a manager) on the other. Engaging personalities, and so willing to grab needed items. soft Drinks were refilled without needing to ask. Ribs were as good as ever, and the Pork chops are still large and meaty. Bathrooms were clean. hand sanitizer dispensers work. No sign of pests anywhere in the restaurant. Only negative I saw was the garden bar needed the spilled food cleaned up after the messy guests! Variety of items is still quite good, and fresh. This location is one of a few remaining, but with such good leadership running it , I think it will last to the end of the chain. I ordered the bourbon chicken with zucchini and rice pilaf. The chicken was tasty but room temperature, not warm at all. The zucchini was hot and delicious and the rice was warm but a little too salty. My husband ordered the shrimp and scallops combo with broccoli and rice pilaf. The shrimp and scallops were tender but too salty. His broccoli was okay and his rice was cold. We don't know why my rice was warm and his was cold but it was. The fish that my mom was served was undercooked, my friend ordered a quesadilla with only cheese and got the wrong thing. The server never took dirty salad plates out of the way, and only got us new drinks when WE ASKED for them. Not the restaurant that it used to be. I remember going to Ruby Tuesday excited for the menu, the decent sized portions, the fair prices, the taste of the food. This most recent experience has completely put the nail in the coffin for Ruby Tuesday, as they have not only raised their prices, but they shrunk the food as well! I ordered a smashburger which was shown on their menu as two larger-than-the bun patties with double cheese and a big fluffy bun. I ordered that with mashed potatoes instead of fries. What I ended up getting looked like a cheeseburger from a McDonald's happy meal! Two incredibly small patties that would only satisfy a child's appetite. And the taste? Tasteless. No seasoning, the burger tasted like nothing. I am gluten free, so I ordered the gluten free bun for the burger, which is $3 extra now. The bun wasn't even the quality of their previous gluten-free buns that were actually pretty decent. This bun was incredibly dry, like biting through a crouton. The patties on the burger were tiny, overcooked and dry. Five Guys puts their burger to shame! This was the absolute worst burger I've ever had in my entire life! For $13! When I used to order the mashed potatoes, they would put them directly on the plate and you would get a good amount. This time around, they put the potatoes in a tiny ramekin. I consumed the potatoes in about three bites. I did end up calling a manager to our table to get a refund for the burger, but because it took so long to get our meal and my partner was already finished, I went home on an empty stomach, except for a few bites of mashed potatoes. Shrinkflation has hit Ruby, Tuesday folks, and the food has taken a nosedive. Even the staff was inattentive to our needs and we had to flag the waitress down to get a manager. The quesadillas were missing the guacamole, the ribs were half rack, not full and the cole slaw was sour tasting, almost like a spoiled taste. Take out ordered via phone. Gluten free, plus other allergies and histamine intolerance. The order taker was pleasant, patient, and consulted the allergen list to clarify any questions. We were unable to use the online allergen list that looked like it would only give us items that matched our requirements due to error. That would be an amazing feature for all restaurants. Sirloin steak was ok, cooked correctly, very bland seasoning. Broccoli was weird tasting. Chocolate milk shake very good. Baked potato nice and salty! First when I came in,it seemed all a little too fancy. The waiters are nice and seem well trained,but they seemed a little overworked. The queso and chips were nice but I felt like the queso was missing a little spark. The lemonade also is quite nice as well but it was a little too sour. Last time I will ever go to a Ruby Tuesday because of this location. Now you pay $1.99 more to substitute a side for the salad bar when that was free. Now they are pushing a 5 item menu that comes with the salad bar which is baffling. Furthermore when you show up and a restaurant is out of broccoli, which takes away one of those choices that you wanted, and they didn't go out and buy more you realize how lacking they are of a customer first approach. At the very least someone didn't order something and they punish their customers for their lack of ability to place an order. Also where is the balsamic vinaigrette dressing at? I'm sorry but I hope someone of importance sees this and realizes they lost another customer. You have too many competitors out there to implement programs that are not customer friendly. Hubby and I ordered the ribs. He got honey bourbon and I got classic because we did not want spicy and our waitress assured us they weren't spicy at all! We got spicy! Burned our throats. We both had the runs all weekend after this! When I went to the ladies room someone had taken a sugary drink and thrown it up the wall in the handicap stall, which ran down all over the toilet appear. My husband and I have visited this restaurant many times. Every waiter and waitress in a restaurant has always given us great service. The food is excellent, the management is outstanding especially Rita Pippin. We currently have had Jessica Forshey, And true to form the service was excellent. We've had Paul before and he was very attentive also. They seem to know exactly what we wanted before we wanted it. I spoke with Rita Pippen who is the general manager to and former how happy With the restaurant. Often times the manager hears about upset customers karma instead of hearing how happy the customers are. Having a certain low expectation for the Ruby Hoolihan's Friday Applebee chain(s), I sometimes eat there but rarely review. However, after my latest visit to Ruby Tuesday in Milford, DE, I believe it deserves a scathing slap on the wrist. We ate lunch there on Wednesday, Sept 18, 2019. We were seated promptly by a very friendly host. Our waitress served our requested waters, no lemon, in a timely fashion and gave us ample time to decide on our choices. That's where the experience fell apart. My wife ordered a $7.99 lunch combo with Crispy Chicken Ranch Salad and Roasted Tomato Soup. I ordered a Cajun Grilled Chicken Sandwich. The sandwich is described in the menu as: "A blackened chicken breast topped with grilled peppers and onions, Swiss cheese, and Sriracha ranch on a toasted brioche bun." It was served on a brioche bun. However, the grilled chicken breast showed no signs of having been properly seasoned or cooked, not blackened. The surface of the meat on both sides was the typical beige color of a cooked chicken breast. Period. There were sauteed onions and peppers and a slice of Swiss cheese. But the "Sriracha ranch" was a slight, sort of salmon colored smear on the top bun. I tried to taste it, by breaking off a very small piece of bun, but was unable to detect any flavor at all. If a sandwich is billed as "Cajun" and touted to be blackened, I expect a spicy flavor. There was NONE. This sandwich fell FLAT, and nowhere near the expectation created by the description on the menu. My wife was well into her salad when she commented that she was going to ask for her soup to go. That's when I noticed that she had not been served the soup in her combo. As if our table were bugged, that's when the waitress brought out her soup. She was nice enough to exchange for a to go portion. And my wife found the portion size on the salad just perfect for her appetite, someone with a more normal appetite probably would have been dissatisfied with the salad as well. The restaurant, including restrooms, was clean. Poor food, poor service. One star. read more

I won't ever try this restaurant location again. I stopped in on my lunch break for a cheeseburger and fries thinking that it would be something quick and easy. Apparently, I was wrong on both assumptions. Long story short, my server at the bar was very uninterested. She didn't even refill my glass. When my cheeseburger was finally delivered, it was raw in the middle. I'm talking still cold and stringy hamburger. He ordered the All-American burger medium-rare with the caveat that he wanted only the burger and the bun. I ordered the pretzel bacon cheese burger, medium with no pickles. Both our burgers came well-done, but for all that overcooking the burger and accompanying fries weren't hot and had obviously been sitting under a warming lamp for a while. My wife and I have had good experiences with Ruby Tuesday in Lewes DE and decided to have dinner at the location in Milford. After entering the establishment we were greeted by a telephone hanging on the wall going unanswered and no hostess to be found. After waiting several minutes a young lady came over and assisted us towards a booth. As I have a minor disability with walking, the hostess was to the table, dropped the menus, and was walking past us as I was still walking to the table. The server was pleasant and did check in with us throughout the service. My wife ordered the pork chop entree with zucchini and mashed. I ordered a pretzel black and Bleu burger. For my wife: the pork chop was clearly not seasoned while it was being cooked, as the only flavor came from the glaze that was poured on top. It did have some tenderness but was slightly over cooked. Her zucchini was way over cooked and made better mash than the potatoes. It was not touched for the rest of the meal. For myself: I asked how well the cooks are with temperatures as I like my burger with a decent amount of pink, about medium temperature. I understand how easy it is to overcook a burger so I usually ask two temperatures below how I like it. The waitress advised me they are pretty accurate all the time. I ordered it medium rare. The burger was medium well borderline well done. My fries did not arrive until we were both almost done eating. The one star is for the waitress. I am a regular at the bar here for the past year. My overall experience has been positive, a drastic cut above the local Applebee's where I previously was a regular bar patron. My current issue with this Ruby Tuesday's is they have a temporary fill-in Bartender (supposedly temporary) that is very slow and cannot multi-task; this slow tendency causes a delay with getting beverages and your meal in a timely manner. I have also observed abhorrent behaviors toward other servers; a downright rude personality and even spoken word at times. Nobody in Management appears to listen, especially after other regular guests have afforded their concerns to them. Drink ice water, as I do and sit in the restaurant proper for better service on Wednesday's and at least one other Russian Roulette day, usually during the weekend! Unfortunately, Yelp us making give this place 1 star... and I'll give that to my waitress because she was cool... the assistant general manager and store manager however... rude... inconsiderate... and unwillingly to put the customer first. I ordered a drink and was asked for ID... which I presented. The waitress was unfamiliar with a National ID/Tribal ID... so she asked her manager. The manager camw out and denied me service based on the fact she didn't want to accept my ID because it was not a State ID. I explained I am a foreign national... and I don't have a State ID.. and the ID that I presented is the one I use everywhere with no problem. I presented the law... actual documents pertaining to identification in the United States, and that my ID was completely acceptable. She refused to comply with the law. I was then given the options to return to my table or leave. I asked to speak with her boss. I was told I couldn't. I was told I could call corporate. When I asked for corporate's number.. I was told it was 1 800 "something like that". I was then told if I didn't return to my seat, the police would be called. I instructed them to call. The assistant general manager left... took five minutes... called her boss... then came vack with his number. Not corporate. I called. He told me I didn't have the right to drink without a State ID.. and that it was a privilege. I informed him of the same thing I informed his assistant gm of... and he said based on how she feels... it was her right to deny me alcohol. They cared nothing about the law. When I mentioned that they were discriminating against me based on my nationality... I was told it wasn't their job to know the law or go through paperwork that would verify who I was... even though I had all of these documents with me in a folder inside the restaurant. I was so angry... I canceled our order... and me and my family left. I went to another restaurant down the street. Ordered the same drink. Same ID. No problem. I will be filling a lawsuit. I was treated as if I wasn't even a person because I didn't have a State ID... but they were willing to take my notes for the food they were preparing for my family. Ridiculous. Very unprofessional. I would think that when one doesn't know or understand they would seek guidance. I even tried to help with that by showing them the law which they ignore. Ignorance of the law is no excuse. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone dining in Milford, De. There are far better places to eat where the service is much better. Only one other time have I been this upset... and that was at the airport when the same type of incident occurred at TSA... and once someone who understood the law camw forward... I had no more issues.. was allowed to pass to the gate. I will never eat another Ruby Tuesday again. I feel bad for the waitress who did an excellent job.
