    Barbacoa and tongue street tacos
    Rebecca S.

With it close to home, and the positive reviews, I really was hoping this place was going to be a 5. Maybe it's because we are Texans and want big, bold flavors, but we felt the seasoning was bland. The meat was definitely tender, but needed salt and flavor. I really enjoyed the beans and rice. We had the barbacoa, tongue and chicken street tacos. The tongue was my favorite. Service was very friendly and helpful.

We stopped in here in a whim. My girlfriend and I were hungry and saw this place. We both love Mexican food and new places are always fun to try. We are sure glad we stopped in. The staff was extremely pleasant and the seating area was clean and wh maintained. Our food was made fresh and was served hot and extremely well prepared. The portions were huge and I had to get half of mine for the road. The beans and rice were especially good and the prices were reasonable. Plenty of private parking right in front of the building. We will gladly return to this restaurant in the very near future.

The place is small and easy to pass by because it's in a small strip mall style storefront. Most of the business is people taking food to go while I was there. The house red hot sauce has good flavor with just a touch of heat on your gums. The steak tacos were full and tasty but needed a little more onion. Glad I stopped in, food has a real "taco truck" feel to it and who has ever had a bad taco truck taco?!?!

It is a small, unassuming restaurant that does a lot of takeout business. Parking is a bit easier left of the entrance next to the car lot. But the menu is solid, and the booths are comfortable if you eat in. The food is great quality and tasty, and the plates are full. Their French toast and pancakes were perfect for my son, who is not a huge fan of Mexican food. They have several Jarritos flavors and sangria grape soda, too. You order and pay, and the food comes out quickly, so showing up hungry shouldn't mean you turn hangry. If you are looking for a solid Mexican restaurant with great flavors and good portions you should check them out. They will be there churning out delicious food.

Took this picture of the breakfast menu on the wall this morning. They also have breakfast burritos that are made fresh.

They open at 6 AM so this is a great place to grab breakfast on your way out for a Colorado adventure. Breakfast burritos are made fresh and you can see other items on the menu here. They also serve lunch and dinner.

    BIG BREAKFAST BURRITO- smothered- Yummm!

Awesome Breakfast Burrito- coming from a spice loving Gringo!...they offer additional sauce, but the flavor blend and heat level was perfect to get me through the day- hopefully! Its a little hole in the wall across from the street from the Exxon and Hyundai dealership. Clean and simple- complete with the mexican music coming from the backroom where the jabbering/laughing ladies prepped for the day. The menu looks inviting, so I will definitely be back for lunch and dinner when in the area

Oh, Mama Sol! I stopped at this place after receiving a recommendation from a local.....a barista at a nearby Coffee shop stated it was his favorite local joint. Colorado is known for plentiful Mexican joints, so it was no surprise that this place was another one. When I arrived I had no idea where to park. The place was set in a strange street-side strip with to clear parking. I found a place next to the building and headed in. Small shop, kids hanging around the shop and a very young person at the register who waited on me the entry time I was there.....clearly a very family-owned business. Clearly "mom" Or someone was running the kitchen in the back. I ordered a combination platter....basically I was able to choose 3 items as a meal. I chose a chicken taco, bean Gordita, and a burrito. It was served in very little time. It was a lot of food too! The taste was outstanding. This is exactly why I ask for locals recommendations when I'm out of town! Real authentic flavor. Bottom-line. Get past the aesthetics. Get past the tiny non-polished restaurant. It's about the food & this place can deliver. Not only was it tasty, I was so stuffed afterwards.

Service is great, food is even better. Simple and fresh ingredients and the meat is *perfect*. Pork taco was outstanding. I will definitely be back.

Simple and fresh food; friendly service. Good lunch take away. Got the combo with bean burrito and guacamole tostada. Big portion for one price. Plan to return to try their breakfast burrito.

Taco plate to go. 4 tacos, beans, rice and salsa.

Did someone say tacos? Count me in, especially when they're $0.99! This little gem on broadway will definitely fill your craving for tacos, beans, rice and spicy salsa. For $6, I ordered the taco plate which came with 4 tacos, beans, rice and a side of salsa. You can mix and match so I did 3 steak tacos and 1 chicken which were served in triple stacked corn tortillas tipped with cabbage and onions. On the side came smooth velvety refried beans and rice. There was also a little container of fresh salsa which gave me heartburn but I couldn't say no to it. They serve tacos, tortas, burritos, breakfast all day, fajitas and sweets. It's a small shop so go early or carpool with someone and be prepared for some awesome food.

I don't remember what I ordered though so at the time it just wasn't very stand out-ish. I recently went back with some friends because I told them I was in the mood for tacos. I tried a few different ones, the Carnitas, the Barbacoa, and the Lengua. I was full with three, but it was so good. I ordered a fourth and my husband who normally gets my leftovers - didn't get any leftovers from me this time! He got a couple different tacos from what I had largely. We ordered about the same, but he got the shrimp which he said was delicious as well. I also tried the signature, Bellanova margarita - I must say that was a little unexpected, not your traditional margarita it was very sweet, so probably not something I'd order again since I prefer stronger tasting drinks, but the coconut flavor in it was delicious if you like coconut. The service was excellent! When we arrived, the interior was super packed and super loud so I was very relieved when we got to sit on the back patio, which turned out great because even though there was a little noise there, we were able to hear each other much better. The server was excellent. She kept checking on us. She answered all our questions and was very kind and accommodating. I've been thinking about the tacos since then, it's been about a week, I can't wait to go back.

The quesadilla was very good it had cheese, carne asada, onions, and some other peppers. It was not super spicy but definitely had a lot of flavor in my opinion. The cheese was extremely rich and made for a great quesadilla! The burger was very good, it came with a big side of fries that were very seasoned! The fries had a lot of salt, pepper, and other spices on it. I love salty food and thought it was perfect. But some people might think it was too much so you may want to ask light salt or no seasoning at all. The burger was very good and every bite had great flavor with the smack sauce, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and onion. I enjoyed both items that I ordered and had plenty left over to eat later. It was a little pricey as I paid $28 for the quesadilla and burger but it was reasonably priced for the portion size and quality of the food. I just expect things to be a little cheaper when it comes to food trucks. The service was very good, I had an older Hispanic couple running the truck when I visited and they were very kind, professional, and put love into the food. The ambiance is cool, I mean it is a food truck with no seating. They have some chairs outside but no table. They also sell drinks, the options that I saw were Coke and Pepsi. I would definitely give snack daddy's a try if you are around downtown Littleton and want to support this small business. I will definitely be back to try some more of the menu.

We have eaten here several times, and the food & service is typically fine. I wouldn't say it is the best I have had, but it is flavorful. Margaritas here are very sweet, and the tequila flavor was nonexistent. I have ordered Carne asada the past two times we have visited, and it was VERY tough (could barely chew it tough), they ask how you would like it cooked, but it doesn't matter- it is going to be served well done, which adds to the toughness of the meat. This past visit I asked to substitute the jalapenos for onions; I was charged $2.50! We also asked for more chips for the table and were charged $1.50. I understand food cost, so I do understand that charge. HOWEVER, I can go to any grocery store and purchase an entire 2lb. bag of organic onions for $2.89, so $2.50 for what looked like an eighth to a quarter of an onion was a bit steep, and if you are going to charge for SUBSTITUTING onion should you not refund for taking the jalapeno off? *This place will no longer be in the Mexican food rotation; there are better places out there where one doesn't get nickel and dimed for average at best food.
