    Rainbow bowl açaí
    Brenda L.

This place is located inside the 7th Street Public Market. They have other locations as well but I have only tried this one. It's in the front right of the market. The kiosk is very small but there is plenty of spots to sit to enjoy your acai bowl inside. I got the rainbow bowl. It comes in a size regular or large. I got the regular and thought that the portion size was great and shareable. It came with blueberries, kiwi, pineapple, banana, strawberry and raspberries. what made the acai portion unique was that they combined it with granola so it was less smoothie-bowl-like. The acai was very crunchy from the granola. It was over $10 a bowl. I would have liked more acai. This makes for a nutritious, delicious, and refreshing snack.

This was the best açaí bowl I've ever had. The lady that made it accommodated my substitutes and crafted it well!! This bowl has açaí , sweetened coconut flakes, peanut butter, blueberries, bananas &strawberries.

By far the worst bowl I've ever had. The granola taste like it's from Publix The açai taste like it was unfrozen and then frozen give me that that crunchy taste. The only thing I liked from it was the almond butter.

The Butterbro and a peanut butter mocha frappe from a coffee shop beside the açaí truck!!

The butter bro from Rico's açaí in Belmont is fantastic!! Definitely recommend!! The employees there are super sweet and patient! Me and my boyfriend get the same bowl all the time and enjoy it every time!!

I love Rico's. If you are looking for the best Acai bowl then look no further. The reason I gave them a 4 star & not 5 is because this location at 7th st is very inconsistent on how they make the bowls. Some days are better than others. On my last visit the girl was very stingy with the amount of toppings & she put all my topping on top of the bowl which isn't how I like it or how they normally make them for me. I will still come back because they are the best, however next time I will give clear instructions since they make the different every time apparently.

If you want an açaí bowl do not go there. I ordered a Brazil açaí bowl and it was 10% açaí and 90% bananas. Terrible place.

I'm a ramen reverer, and I can say that this ramen unfortunately did not hit the mark for me. After reading their reviews, I am realizing that I probably should've tried their pho or other menu items, but it was a cold day and I really wanted to love the ramen here. The menu says the ramen has soft boiled eggs, but these were definitely hard boiled. I put a note for no corn in my ramen, but it definitely came with corn *sadness*. I ordered chicken in my ramen and was expecting slices of chicken like most places do, but instead it was ground chicken which was a little weird to eat in a ramen for me. If I come back here, I would definitely try a different type of menu item. But the restaurant gives very cutesy vibes!

Great prices. They keep it pretty stable.

I just happen to be working in the area where Roaming Fork sets up on Thursdays out in Ballantyne and was able to grab some tasty lunch. The menu is varied and even has an Asian flare! I went with the recommendation of the cashier. I got the Porky Cheesy and the Truffle fries. The grill cheese had a good crunch and a good amount of filling. I love anytime you mix bbq pork and cheese and this didn't disappoint. The truffle fries get squirted with truffle oil after they come out the grease and have an amazing aroma. I liked the flavor but I love fries with a condiment so I felt like the fries could have used some ranch dipping sauce. The menu has a lot of items I would like to try. Hopefully I'm back in the area where they are located and can give them another try soon. Roaming Fork Thursday October 24, 2019 1pm

The cubanos are amazing - I've gotten the original and also the BBQuban. The OG is super solid, but OMG that BBQ one is just delectable and a great texture. Trust me. Try it. They also have the best yucca fries I've probably ever had. My issue with most yucca fries is that the texture tends to be pretty tough, but these are so soft inside - like they mashed the yucca first and then formed the fries. I don't know what magic they use, but they're incredible, and you must get some. We also got a churro filled with dulce de leche, and it came out nice and hot with lots of cinnamon sugar coating. I didn't love the dulce de leche filling for some reason - maybe I got spoiled by spending time in Argentina - so next time I'll likely go for the regular churro.

I follow these guys on Twitter and was always hoping they'd camp out in the Southpark area one day to draw a lunch crowd. To no avail, I was forced to wait until this weekend! Happy to find these guys at Small Bar in the NC Music Factory for PBR Fest. Churning out pizza and wings for the beer crowd. I had heard multiple cheers of praise and glory about this truck's pizza and wings. I was even a little intimidated approaching the order window. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with describing all of the menu items. We ended up getting two slices of cheese, a slice of the buffalo chicken and 5 Carolina Buffalo wings. We sat down with 24oz tallboys in hand and went to town. I was happy to say that the wings are AWESOME. Perfectly cooked, a little crispy on the outside, not dry, tender, slathered generously with amazing sauce. The Carolina Buffalo is a winner. Mustard-based bbq with a plethora of buffalo sauce thrown in. My taste buds were happy. Uhh...they need to make a Carolina Buffalo pizza. (No brainer, yeah?) The only thing that sank my happy sailing dinner experience was the pizza. A little lackluster and the sauce was a bit reminiscent of box pizza from the frozen section in the grocery store. Maybe our slices had been sitting out for a bit, but didn't have the freshest of textures. I did appreciate the crust and enjoyed sopping up the remainder of the wing sauce with them. I can't say that the pizza was banging on all cylinders or a culinary breakthrough, but is definitely reliable. The combo of wings and pizza in one meal from the street, though? Baller status. Grab a tallboy and it's all over. Foodtruck heaven. So happy to have finally tried these guys out and can't wait to see them at Chowdown Uptown in the near future! Carolina Buffalo Pizza, guys!
