The grouper nuggets were the absolute best but the shrimp were large and tasty too, but we all went crazy for the nuggets. Light breading with a great taste, fresh and hot. We had the Mango Slaw for a side, and I wanted to beg for the recipe because it was fantastic. I'm sad I can't hit them up for lunch every day. Plenty of people around at the tables out front and folks driving up to take out. But they zip through and serve it hot and fresh to order.

We walked up to the truck they have several tables and chairs out front and a cool fishing pole art piece on the side. I ordered the grouper sandwich and the much famed mango slaw. Wowzers! It was really good I would even say it surpassed the grouper sandwich I had the day before at a restaurant in the area! I dare say it was quite impressive. The fish tasted very fresh and was fried to perfection and the slaw was tasty the cabbage to mayo ratio was spot on I couldn't even taste the mayo which I loved and deeply appreciated. lol. I got a picture of Bear and Bob while we waited for our order and of course a picture of the fishing pole planter display such a cool idea!! I have to give my first food truck experience a 10/10 and I am so glad I ventured out and tried it. Definitely do not sleep on this gem I know you'll love it too!!

I didn't pay attention to the price. I know, I know... even Starbucks prices are outta hand but Island Espresso is a bit more expensive. $8 for a 'regular' size. It was the first time I thought, is this even coffee/espresso anymore? Plus it was just a bit sweeter than I expected but it had several different things going on. I don't remember if there's much difference in basic lattes, either. But given that they do offer more than just coffee/lattes. I do encourage others to give them a try!! (Thought I took pics when I was there but I guess not - sorry)

When I inquired, they were very apologetic and accommodating with bonus dessert. Due to the weather and outside seating (food truck), we took our dinner home - 5 miles away - burger and mac n Chz were good, I'm guessing it was a bubba burger though. Shrimp was large and decent, o-rings soggy and cold - maybe sat too long waiting on other food. Crab cake was served on an excessive bed of lettuce, it had good flavor but overall just average. Coleslaw was literally made in front of us and had great flavor, would be amazing served cold. We saw many patrons come and go and if I had to guess pizza might be what they're known for to the locals. Seemed like they had ALOT of call in orders which I'm sure contributed to our wait. I tasted the French toast and it was just way too sweet for my liking. If you love sweet I imagine you'd like this. The person who ate it does like sweets though and still felt it was a bit much but did like it. She traded some of it away for the cheese grits. The person who ordered the cheese grits thought they were just okay but very much enjoyed the creole eggs Benedict. Some of the best they've had! I did not taste test - I can't eat eggs ‍ I will close out by saying the service was top tier. Our server and everyone in the restaurant was super nice and also knowledgeable about the town and area and answered all our tourist questions (or found the answers).
