Oysters

I love Mambo seafood, I have been to this locations several times over the years and it is - always consistent in quality of food & oysters - always consistent with customer service - always a good experience What I order : - Mambo Special fried rice - [[HIGHLIGHT]]michelada regular[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] - oysters - Vuelve a la vida soup This combination is the best I know it may sound weird but it is so good and always hits the spot when I am craving oysters! I recommend ordering these items if you haven't tried them out yet! I love sitting in the patio when sun is setting. The inside is very spacious especially for hot summer time and humidity in Houston.

Wow, what a great experience! We found parking very easily and our party of 6 was seated immediately. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Other waitstaff also checked in on us too. We ordered the fried shrimp plate, shrimp tacos, and mambo combo. We ate our hearts out and especially loved the shrimp fried rice! Great place to have a casual, delicious Friday night dinner with family. We'll be back!

As always prompt and good service! Had our micheladas, started with the Salmon bites that were absolutely delicious! We ordered the Crawfish bundle with shrimp but the size of the crawfish were disappointing! Overall great taste & experience!

Mambo Fried Fiesta Fish Taco

We've eaten here several times and everything is consistently fresh and delicious. The coconut shrimp appetizer and grilled fish tacos is my go to order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I usually get a topo chico chelada that I definitely recommend.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Last visit, I tried the pepinada margarita and it was amazing. Not overly sweet and tastes fresh.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The tamarindo stick and cucumber and jicama with chamoy was a fun surprise and of course were all fresh and delicious. Staff is always great and I've never noticed it being too loud even when packed. I love this place!

Ordered the snapper via UberEats from this location. I took a few bites and as I dig in noticed the entire fish was black on the inside. Immediately I vomited everything I had eaten. Contacted UberEats and was only a refunded a portion of my order. Contacted the restaurant and they did not assist. I had to throw out everything that I ordered because who in their right mind would continue to eat from a place ghat clearly is too lazy to conduct QA on the foods being served. This is disgusting. Quite puzzle as to how this occurred but I do know that they just lost a customer.

Enjoying una Mangotita!!

Inside it's a nice restaurant with an upscale feel to it. I ordered a house salad for $9 to start and the Pasta Rosa entree for another $28. The salad arrived first with a generous amount of romaine lettuce with diced tomatoes, cucumber, shredded carrots and chopped eggs on top. With my chosen ranch dressing it was a good tasting salad. The Pasta Rosa dish had sliced Parmesan strips on top of penne with shrimp, crawfish and sausage for the protein with mushrooms and a tomato cream sauce. This meal initially tricked me. My first impression was that while there was plenty of protein the taste of the tomato cream sauce was lacking some flavor. I expected more. However as I kept eating and getting beyond the top layer of the food the flavor increased significantly. I think that the proteins caused the sauce in the lower half of the dish to create more punch. This dish got better and better and I changed my mind. It turned out to be a very good tasting and filling meal. Finally the table service was very good too. P.S. I also tried part of another appetizer which was the bar b q shrimp for $16. They were tasty. I like Rouxpour and would return. My only negative is that their prices are a little on the high side in my opinion.

When I'm in town for work, I usually ask a client where I should eat. This time I got a long list…read moreof recommendations, but one place kept coming up again and again. "Start here." That was the right call. The campechana was the highlight. Fresh, layered, and well balanced. It felt like a grounded ceviche with depth, not just acidity. Plenty of avocado, clean seafood, good heat, and bright citrus. I would order it again without hesitation. The mesquite grilled oysters carried a nice smokiness while still letting the brine come through. The seared tuna was clean, properly cooked, and texturally on point. Service was excellent. I felt welcomed immediately, checked on consistently, and still given space to finish a couple of work calls at the bar. That balance matters when you're traveling. Nothing here felt overcomplicated. It's familiar coastal seafood, executed confidently and well. Not a destination meal I would fly for, but absolutely a place I will return to anytime I'm in Katy. Strong four star experience.

This was our first visit to Goode Co. Seafood in a long time. Now we remember why it's been so long…read moresince the last visit. Ther service was very good. Both our server and the manager made sure we were taken care of promptly and courteously, which was great since we were celebrating two birthdays among the four of us. The ambience of the location was interesting with kind of a mid-century diner feel, but very clean. Overall, the food was underwhelming. We started with the fried green tomatoes, which were pleasantly non‑greasy but lacked seasoning, leaving them rather bland. One of the birthday guests ordered the mesquite‑grilled salmon, cooked perfectly to their preference. The other birthday guest had the fried seafood platter, which unfortunately suffered from the same lack of seasoning as the tomatoes. The mesquite‑grilled red snapper was overcooked and a bit dry, and the jumbo lump crab cake tasted overly bready. The highlight of the evening was the crab gumbo, which had balanced seasoning and stood out as the most flavorful dish of the night. Overall, we really wish the food had lived up to the prices and the service.

At your own risk, I guess. Food was overall average- went with seafood options which were well cooked but nothing to write home about. The grouper has too many sweet elements which I was concerned about when ordering- would have liked some savoury bite in there. Also was disappointed they didn't pack up my leftovers (got lost in communication I guess). The crab cake entree- to me the reads appetizer, which is what we did. But honestly one of the best crab cakes I've had. Sturdy breading but so much flavour and balanced well with the veg/salad it sits on. The 7 layer chocolate cake was perfectly balanced dessert as well. Not too sweet and loved the crispy/crunchy bits.

Now don't get me wrong it's a step above other AYCE Korean BBQ spots but it was definitely not 5 stars. The reason why I gave it a 4 is because our server Aydana was very kind and accommodating. She made sure we got everything we needed & even cooked our food. We came around 5pm for dinner & it was not busy at all for a Friday. The decor is modern and minimalist & spacious all around. We decided to get the Prime beef combo large priced at $147, this will feed 3-4 people. It also comes with one soup. All the meats were tendered especially the prime boneless short ribs, it was buttery & melt in your mouth. Also, it had some nice marbling. The beef brisket was just okay and I could've gotten the same quality at Handam. The bulgogi was marinated to perfection but it was a little sweet for my liking. The soup I ordered was the sundubu jjigae. The combination of seafood, veggies & tofu went well together. I'll order it again. The sauces that were provided were solid. My favorite was the chimichurri. Now what was lacking were their banchan's. None of it caught my attention. The sausage that was drenched in some weird sauce tasted pretty odd and bad. It was like hotdogs with some bbq sauce. I Just want to add that the white rice was soft and fluffy. At the end they gave us complimentary drink. It was refreshing. Overall I'll give the food a 3, but the service is what gave it a 4. Our server was even nice enough to pack our leftovers. Definitely enough for a next day meal. My friend forgot to take his food home & she ran out of the restaurant to hand him his food. That right there is above and beyond service. Since we ordered a large combo they also gave me a hello kitty mug to take home, that was cute lol. Now what struck a red flag was an alert I saw on their Yelp page. Pretty much saying that they were bribing customers with free stuff in exchange for a 5 star review. My advice is don't do that. It doesn't make you guys look good. Will I come back? I definitely would but only if I feel like splurging myself.

We came in for a girls night, and to try the girl dinner that they had been promoting. It came with Steak, Fries and a Caesar Salad and cocktail, which I think is a perfect combo. The steak came out perfectly cooked to my liking, the fries, super yummy, wished I had more! And the salad was light and crisp. I opted for the espresso martini, which again, made to my liking! I also ordered another drink, a vodka martini, which was nice crisp and smooth. To round out our evening, we ordered the bread pudding for dessert. They ran out of ice cream, but it was not needed. The male manager spoke to me after dealing with the inexperienced female manager for a fair solution. The kitchen was closed so to remake the meal wasn't possible, instead he removed my dish from the bill, and provided a gift card (lesser value of the dish) but it was the gesture and expression of the current events that made it very necessary.
