Came here tonight and had another great experience at LA Crawfish. We ordered 5 pounds of crawfish and they gave us 1 pound free, which was an awesome bonus. The crawfish were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We got the garlic butter and Cajun seasoning, and both absolutely hit the spot. We also tried the traditional LA Crawfish pho, which is their version of a combination pho. The bowl was huge and packed with flavor -- definitely one of the more unique and satisfying dishes on the menu. To finish the meal, we ordered their version of beignets, which were the perfect sweet ending. By the end we were completely full and very happy. The restaurant is tucked away inside the 99 Ranch Marketplace, but even though it's a little hidden, the place was packed. The owner was super friendly and even recognized us from the last time we came, which made the experience even better. Great food, generous portions, and friendly service. They have a special promo where they'll give you an extra lb for every 5lbs that you order. We like the garlic butter and lemon pepper combinations. Add in the potatoes and corn to complete the meal. I stopped by LA Crawfish inside the 99 Ranch Market and overall had a good experience. It's counter service, so you order at the register and grab a seat, which makes it easy and casual. The ambience is laid-back and lively overall definitely a solid spot to hang out with friends, especially if you're already shopping at the market. Customer service was friendly and efficient, and the line moved pretty quickly. The food itself is pretty good it's flavorful, well-seasoned, and served hot. Highly recommended for tasty Cajun/creole fusion. You can sit in and dine but the ambiance is not amazing and it was never created to be. The main items are seafood boils. I had maybe 3 single crawfish out of 3 lbs that were ok texture..This means they were dead before they were cooked. The shrimps inside the Po boy were good and the toast on the garlic bread was good as well but the sauce they put in the sandwich was in my opinion NOT tasty.. The Po boy did NOT have lettuce in it. Stopped by just for a quick dinner because this was in the closest Asian grocery store near us. Service was great, very helpful. The food was just okay. I like that they have a food challenge you can see the winners of on their wall. I had the shrimp poboy which was disappointing. I thought it came with a side of fries but the fries were in the sandwich and ended up soggy. The shrimp tasted vaguely sweet. There was no cabbage/slaw that I typically associate with poboys. The pho was good. I'd recommend that. The cajun fried rice was salty and really oily. It was hard to stomach because of the oil and salt. This is a review for your Pearland location if you still own it. I don't know how the Pearland location is still in business. The service is just awful. More than once, I would call it my orders hoping I would not need to wait but almost every time, I had to wait because the kitchen staff were not doing their jobs. This evening, I called in an order of chicken wings thinking they would be fast to prepare. But when I walked into the restaurant 10 minutes later, the food was still not ready. The cashier claimed they were being cooked. There was one person in the dining room talking to the cashier, not eating anything. After several minutes, the cashier realized the food was not even being cooked. I saw the cook opening a bag to get the chicken wings. The cashier didn't offer any apologies. Her attitude was pretty much "it is what it is." They had no customers and still managed to miss an order. This was not the first time I had the same problem with this location. One of the bestest tasting crawfish- the Cajun and the spicy. I wish they just offered you gloves had napkins more easily accesible but you have to ask staff for them.
