The food was actually good and really deliciou. I really recommend the shrimps they are SOO GOOD.

I went to this Mambo for the first time the other day with a couple of coworkers and we loved it! The food was amazing and the servers were super processional and efficient. We got the food very quickly, exactly as we had ordered it. Our server was super helpful and took all our requests into consideration regarding ingredients in the plate. She was super nice ( I think her name was Irina) and actually took the time to make sure our needs were met. Great experience, will definitely be returning soon! read more

The food is always good in my opinion. You have to try the calamari and the micheladas. Hands down so delicious!!! I feel maybe the service could be a little better but with regards to price, it's definitely worth it The music is always good too. I like their to go ordering too. read more

This place was awesome!! If you like seafood this is the place to be. Of course...just about everything there is fried so you really have to like fried foods to really enjoy yourself. I had the shrimp and rice. On the menu I think they call it a #4. If you are a beer drinker you should taste their version of the Michelada. It's made of crushed lime, tomato juice, hot sauce in a salted rim glass and then they add beer. You have your choice of what kind of beer you want in your Michelada, I suggest Dos Equis. Even if this sounds nasty to you, you should give it a try. I ended up burning off my lips for the night with all that hot sauce. LOL read more

I go to mambo for the micheladas alone. However, the gumbo and the shrimp cocktails are good as well and the numbered plates. What I don't like is that now they give you (1) napkin, now you have to ask for ketchup, and now they have the small bottle of Tabasco. What gives? If I'm dropping $50-60 bucks each time I'm there at least let me have a roll of kitchen paper, big bottle of Tabasco and ketchup!!! read more

Food was so so.... I wasn't impressed with how it tasted. We ordered the spicy diablo shrimp and it wasn't spicy at all. All of our food was unnecessarily overly greasy. Pretty disappointed with the seafood soup that came with one big hard potato a carrot and like 4 shrimps. It was bland and it came by itself (no bread or tortillas) the shrimp cocktail is also lacking flavor. If you want to eat delicious seafood don't go here. read more

Went yesterday cuz this is my favorite place but they let me down on mother's day.. especially when I go there only for my shrimp cocktail got home and ended up with oyster cocktail I was so upset had to throw it away then none of my platters had tarters..I mean I will not stop going there but learny lesson to check my food in front of them next time..it's all good read more

Yesterday was my first time here and I have to say the margaritas were great, but they could use a little less simple syrup. The food I thought was amazing. I had the Monterrey chicken with fried rice, the fried rice was a nice touch because Spanish rice isn't my favorite. They also have these amazing stuffed jalapeños that are deep fried. 10/10 would recommend. We sat on the patio which was great cause it was such a beautiful day. I will be returning here. The service was good for how busy it was. The tables could be separated a little more because I was sure everyone near me heard every part of my conversation. read more

Not a fancy place, but puts out some decent inexpensive seafood dishes. You can order fresh seafood by the pound with your choice of cooking style or order off the menu. The seafood gumbo had really good flavor, but had a thick almost gravy like roux. Ordered the family meal for four and it was a ton of food! The fish was basa and had a nice light crust. The shrimp was tasty as well but had been pounded flat before frying and was a little more batter than shrimp. Paid extra for the special fried rice and it was the best part of the meal. Horrible Place. I just went to order 1 #8, 3 #1, and a vuela a vida soup small and they decide to give me a #2, 1 #1, and a seafood cocktail that I didn't order. When going back nicely to ask for the right food the lady said its our fault not hers. We tried reasoning and even asked for her name and the person on the phone hung up. Horrible. Ordered the crawfish and they hadn't been purged. Then I found a turtle mixed in the 4lbs. They had cooked the turtle with the crawfish. Service was attentive. We had the No. 1 Combo, with Fish and Shrimp. Cocktail sauce, was outstanding. I also had the seafood Gumbo. Gumbo was just OK. Fish was good, Shrimp was not crisp. Mambo rice w/shrimp was seasoned well, and tasty. Plain white roll(store bought) was out of place. Wife's side vegetables, were tasty. Very clean and well maintained store, inside and out, in a not so great neighborhood. Plenty of servers, and bus help!. All in all, a pleasant experience! read more

I just went in this location and found the waitress who served us rude and stupid. Her name is Layken. I clearly showed her and explain our order a couple of times but then she gave us the wrong food. So we had to wait again for about 15 minutes to have it corrected and when she came back she rudely reprimanded us and making it look like it was our fault that she did not get the order right! We ordered the same food before and the previous lady did it right but this new lady was obviously wrong . When she handed the receipts she just stood there while we're signing the receipt and she made us feel awkward! Maybe we will just go to the other location unless this rude waitress is out of that location. read more
