Amazing Italian restaurant in what kinda feels like the middle of nowhere. Service was fantastic and the food was even better. Starters - Fried Ravioli was like a 3.5/4, but the crab dip was a 6/4 for more - absolutely delicious. Their garlic rolls were also off the starts. House salad was also decent. Mains - everyone's mains were great. I opted for the chicken Milano and was an easy 5/5, the charred chicken was awesome and the mushroom sauce was rich and creamy. My sister got the shrimp scampi and loved it - and same with my brother and his chicken fettuccine Alfredo. They also have gluten free pasta, which my mum said was good. Desserts - we split the caramel cheesecake which was ok, the chocolate lava cake which was great, and the tiramisu which was amazing. Cannot speak for their pizzas, but everything else was GREAT. It takes too long to get the food and the bread is not done or sometimes it is the salad or to cooled and I ever got the meat or the chicken because it was not good the soI hope the one in Sanford is better i one day this year and go to that one and see if the time and food better than the one in vass so I hope the food is good if so I will do a one more post. Best pizza I have had since I moved to Pinehurst from NYC two months ago. The crust was even better when we reheated leftovers the next day as it got crispy on my pizza stone. Beyond friendly service and the food was excellent. Lasagna was fresh and very filling. Their garlic dinner rolls came with the meal and were also great. This will be a regular stop for us despite being somewhat out of the way from Pinehurst. Ambience was just ok except for the booths which were large and comfy. Very informal buildout but clean and well maintained. Just not a fancy upscale type buildout. read more

I did a review not to long ago about my visit to Valenti's Italian Restaurant in Vass , where the service was not to good. Have been a long time guest , so I tried the restaurant again. What a difference from the last time. Seated immediately, food came out in a very timely manner. Our server Shavon has waited on us numerous times. Shavon is a very good server, and takes care of all of our needs. I would definitely give a thumbs up to this visit. read more

I ordered what I thought was a large vegetarian pizza online. What I got was a personal pan pizza for a total of $25. Not enough to feed two people. I went back and checked the online receipt and they are actually charging over $25 for a 12" pizza. I will never eat here again. What a ripoff. Save your money and go to Vito's or SoPie. read more

My favorite Italian spot in Raleigh now has competition, but lucky for them they are in a completely different town, 1.5 hours away! My boyfriend's parents frequent Valenti's and so I was introduced a few months ago and let me tell you, I was not disappointed! I have experienced Valenti's twice now, takeout and dine-in. Both of these experiences were exceptional. The entrée I ordered (both times because it was so great) came with rolls and a side salad. The salad was fresh and we chose the creamy Italian dressing. This is probably the best dressing I have ever had. Dip the warm rolls in that dressing and you are in heaven! The entrée I opted for both times was the Pasta Milano. This dish is pheromonal, hence ordering it twice despite the other delicious looking items on the menu! It is a Penne pasta accompanied by a creamy marsala mushroom sauce. I added grilled chicken. The chicken is marinated or rubbed exceptionally, and always perfectly cooked! We went for Mother's Day yesterday and it was a great experience. The atmosphere is not fancy, but it's cozy and the customer service was impeccable. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I cannot wait to have Valenti's again! 5 stars always. read more

I've been eating at Valenti's for 16 years now and have never had a bad meal. Last night, we went for my birthday and had a tremendous meal. For the appetizer we had the crab dip with pita triangles. The dip was delicious, the bread was crisp and tasty. I got sausage and peppers, with penne pasta for my entree. The flavor was heavenly! I am slowly recovering my taste after a bout of throat cancer, which included 36 radiation treatments. Food hasn't tasted the same since, but oh my goodness! I can't remember the last time I had food this delicious! The tomato sauce was perfect, the dish was piping hot and after the first bite I knew I was in for a real treat. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. My wife and daughter were equally pleased with their entrees. If you haven't been to Valenti's, it is a true secret jewel, in the middle of rural Moore county. Their pizza is always amazing, but last night was the best meal I've had in recent memory, anywhere. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Mostly because the food is WAY over priced for the quality of food served. It's subpar at best, the grilled chicken was okay but I'd pass on everything else, including the rolls that just taste like raw dough. The staff is nice enough and it is convenient but I'd rather drive an extra 10-15 minutes to go literally anywhere else at this point. The first time I went, I picked up a cannoli for dessert and the filling had gone so BAD I spit it out immediately due to a sour/fizzy taste. My husband and I brought our 3 grandchildren to dinner last night after baseball. We arrived at about 6:30. The service was very quick. Twelve years ago this place did a moderate level of dinners. Yesterday it was packed with many waiting. They probably didn't know they were waiting to be disappointed. So we had a lovely drive on a nice sunny day, and we saw this little place on the map. What the heck? We pulled into a not-very-crowded lot and went inside. The host started to seat us at a long set of tables that was mobbed with people. We asked for another table more secluded and/or a booth. He said it'd be 10+ min even though there were plenty of open tables - just not "open" ones. After waiting 10 min or so, he sat us at the end of that row we didn't want, and it was just not comfortable. He ultimately did not understand what we wanted and basically ruined the experience. I cannot say that the food made things any better either. The soup was "water"; they didn't have a basic dressing like Thousand Island; the garlic knots were flavorful but very dry; my bowl of pasta was TINY for $20, and the service - especially toward the end - was SLOW. Not as good a it once was. We were early diners about 5:00. On a Saturday. I ordered Gluten free spaghetti with meat sauce. Before it was rich and had a thick tomato sauce. This time it was watery. First time here, there was a slight wait time however the food was totally worth it! They have a pretty standard Italian menu. The chicken was super flavorful and whatever marinade they use is amazing. Staff was semi helpful and didn't really bother us too much but we had a good time and didn't really require assistance.
