Chicken Francese with Fettucini Alfredo and House Rolls
    Emily F.

We've been coming to this location for years. Every family birthday, we always visit for the free birthday meal and I can honestly say in the 10+ years of visits, we have never once had a bad experience. Our waitress this weekend was so friendly and interacted with our toddler, which we always appreciate. She kept our drinks and rolls refilled and kept making sure our dinner was enjoyable. The chicken francese and the chicken alfredo are always my go-to items here. I was happily surprised to find that since the francese comes with a side of pasta, you can substitute that for fettuccini alfredo and receive the best of both worlds. We love the intimate seating here as well. The dimmed lights and set up of the booths really gives you a family dinner experience unlike most other restaurants in the area. We'll continue to be life long customers!

I was pleasantly surprised to have this Italian restaurant so close to my house. I had this restaurants food twice before through a catered work event and that was pretty good too. When you walk in you get a blast of garlic but in the best possible way. It was dimly lit and much larger on the inside then it looks from the outside. We were quickly seated in a comfortable booth. The service was friendly. After we ordered she brought out salad and garlic rolls. Both were above average in my opinion. I really liked the beets and garbanzo beans. The rest of the food came out quickly. The apps of calamari and fried cheese raviolis were fantastic. There was a lot of calamari for the price. I would suggest that they serve it with a wedge or two of lemon. The marinara was really chunky. I prefer smoother but it had a good taste. My main meal of fettuccine was a large portion! I asked for some crushed red peppers to spice it up. The pasta was cooked perfectly but I did find the sauce a little bland. I would probably order it again though. Overall the meal was extremely successful. I would highly recommend it if you are in the area.

Very delicious local authentic Italian restaurant! We've been a few times and it's always a favorite experience! The garlic bread and salad are wonderful but the main dishes are the best part! The staff are always very attentive and friendly and the food is always quick, hot and fresh! There is usually a wait when we go, and it's absolutely worth it.

Very enjoyable, good food, good service in a very casual atmosphere. The salad Italian dressing is perfectly balanced. Eggplant parmesan was generous wity layers of ricotta in between. Pasta lovers was good, not exceptional though geneorous portion with delicious mushrooms. Kennesaw location is also very good, our normal haunt.

Our favorite Italian place. The garlic rolls are the best. We take guests there constantly and have never had a guest that didn't love it.

I pulled onto the road where reformation brewery is, proceeded down the road a bit to see what's happening in the mills area. I did recall that Campania opened shop here and head they were doing well which pleases me because I frequent crabapple location often. Great pizza and interesting appetizers. This time I opened for a simple Margherita pizza and a cup of Italian wedding soup. The pizza needs no explanation, it was excellent. The Italian wedding soup had an interesting take on it the carrots were a a lot firmer than I expected making it a soft crunch the meatballs were nice but overall it lacked seasoning. The establishment takes a page from the old mill look with exposed beans on the walls and roofline. Unfortunately, our server was awful, and I felt like she hated us, though I don't know why. We started by ordering one pizza and mentioned that we would order more food afterward, but she never came back to check on our table. She walked by our table a few times without looking at us, checking on us, or asking if we needed anything, and then she disappeared. After waiting quite a while and still wanting to order more, I went to the counter to ask someone for help. I was told to stay at the table and that someone would come help us. When she finally came back, she asked, "So, what do you want?" with no apology for the delay or any explanation. When our food came out, she simply placed it on the table without even looking at us. The whole interaction was uncomfortable and tense -- not good for us and definitely not good for her either. I want to believe she was just having a bad day.

With a heavy mound of onions and mushrooms on top, the grits ended up feeling dry and pulled all the moisture out of the bite. The flavor itself was fine, just lacking moisture and balance. They had a noticeably strong smell right away, which usually means they're not as fresh as they should be, especially at a $40 price point.
