Sorrentino, Pasta with Marinara Sauce, and Chicken parm
    Schein P.

After our stroll by Argyle lake, we ventured to the place. I had read a review when it first opened. We finally made a point to go. We observed that Pizza slices are popular items, but we tried some entrees. Garlic knots were a starter. Then he ordered Chicken parm and rototini pasta, while I has the Chicken Sorrentino with salad. Each entrees was accompanied by Italian bread. I loved the Chicken Sorrentino and have been missing that flavor profile for many years. Needless to say, the portions were generous. And now I have leftovers! We will be visiting again!

I asked one of the workers if the lot was full and where they were going to park the incoming cars. He told me that they had an "additional parking lot" behind the location. I decided to drive out myself and go find street parking. I ended up finding a parking spot on a street called Madeleine Place, which was about a block and a half away from the restaurant. This was when I noticed that the valet workers were actually parking the vehicles on the same exact block. I didn't appreciate that I was lied to in regard to having an additional parking lot behind the location because I think it's important for the patrons to know where exactly their car will be while they are having dinner. After entering the restaurant, we were told to have a drink at the bar because our table wasn't ready yet, which was fine because we were several minutes early. The hostess told us that a table was paying and we would be seated shortly. While we were at the bar waiting, we must have seen three or four tables of two that had left the location. We thought we would be seated at one of those tables, however, we were actually taken to a dining area upstairs. Just to preface, the person I was dining with has dined at this restaurant numerous times with another friend who is extremely generous when it comes to paying and leaving a tip. However, on this particular night, that friend was not with us, and I feel strongly that is the reason why they did not seat us at one of those empty tables on the first floor. They brought us upstairs to a more secluded dining area. The service upstairs was significantly worse compared to the service that my friend had received numerous times on the first floor. You could also see the difference in patrons between the first floor and second floor. The food.. Presentation is great! But the taste -- sub-par! We ordered the baked artichoke from the appetizer menu, which was loaded with some type of dressing and so much cheese that you could barely taste the artichoke. We also ordered a Caesar salad, which was so mediocre. We ordered a side of asparagus was very bland. We then ordered the filet mignon, which was decent, but I feel like it's overpriced for the taste. In regard to our drink order, we were only asked once if we wanted a drink, and we felt extremely rushed throughout. I'm only giving this three stars because I can't give it 2 1/2. I personally did not have a good experience at this restaurant and I definitely won't be returning nor will I recommend it. They started off on a bad foot by lying about the parking situation.

And requested a gluten-free meal well ahead of time. When we first got to our table, we were greeted by good looking who I thought was just the manager. My wife advised him that she is the gluten-free girl and he immediately said no problem. I have you we have your meal in the back. He walked around nonstop working the room. He was in and out of the kitchen in and bringing the table and every time he passed me, he smiled and said talking to this gentleman just to thank him for how hard I see him working. As the night went on, I started to realize maybe he's not just the manager. He's something larger as I saw him in charge of more than just the staff. He ran the entire place like a well oiled machine always professional kind and very friendly. My wife's meal came out hot and delicious. My entire family was there and we enjoyed all of the food we went up for seconds and even thirds. He waited on us and was constantly asking the rest of the people there if there was anything they needed. I asked for his card so I can write a review and contact his manager to tell him how wonderful he was. I also asked him where I a review about the food. He walked away and came back a few minutes later with his business card. His name was Vincent gave me his phone number and then underneath his number it states . I was quite established unknown restaurant was working so hard. He enjoyed what he was doing. He enjoyed talking to not only the staff, but everyone in the room. no wonder why this restaurant and caterer has done so well over the years. People like him that make a very difficult industry last. Thank you, Vincent for being the best of the best for being professional, friendly and most of all served us a phenomenal meal. Thank you, Robert and Susan Corrado

The menu is simple and not overwhelming which is something I really appreciate. The ingredients are quality and authentic. We love the Fulton street panini. The paninis are more like calzones because they use their pizza dough. Really unique and delicious with a bit of char from that pizza oven. The meat and cheese boards have these peppers that provide the perfect acidic bite to cleanse your pallet. The pesto gnocchi is homemade, tender and fresh with herbs. The salads are large and full of Mediterranean goodness. The cocktails are amazing with some interesting flavor combinations. One of my favorites at the moment is a mezcal and beet drink. Their espresso martini is also one of the best I've had in the area. For dessert you have to try the tiramisu. It is served in a martini glass and tastes as good as it looks. Pairs well with the espresso martini. The service is excellent and friendly. Josh goes out of his way to make sure everyone is comfortable and full with food and drink. The atmosphere is warm, intimate and cozy with dim lighting. The music is fun with a lot of great throwbacks. Never anything offensive or too loud. It's very inviting and always keeps you wanting to have one more drink. I highly recommend giving Molto Vino a try and maybe I'll see you there!
