Anthony's Pizza is a small family own business which supports a lot of community associations which is wonderful. It's a no frills place not conducive for a restaurant sit down type of place. Everything is made fresh so it tastes good. The aroma of fresh dough permeates the establishment. The only issue we had was that the pasta in our entree was overcooked, it was very soft and mushy. We couldn't eat it. If you're in the neighborhood give this place a try. read more

This is our local pizzeria. We love their sauce. They make a great plain and pepperoni pizza. They have great sales on Mondays and Tuesdays. If you pay cash the pizza is cheaper. It's a small place and the parking lot is even smaller. Coming in and out can be difficultwith a busy road. The owner is a really nice guy and does lots for the community. His staff is always nice and cheerful. My favorite slice is the spinach slice. It has lots of flavor and I'm not sure which extra cheesy adds but it gives it a nice tangy taste. Just wish they had their pinwheels especially pepperoni ones more often. They sell out so quick because they're so good. read more

Anthony's is amazing! We tried the Sicilian Round" and it was absolutely incredible! The dough was fresh, tasty, light and airy with a touch of crispiness on the edges ... sauce was homemade and robust , the mozzarella cheese was excellent quality! What a delicious experience. Pizza, service, & pricing is amazing! I live right next to Mulberry Street Pizza, and have lately been unimpressed by their service(always rude and feel rushed to make an order, even though we USED TO order there regularly) and how overpriced their pizza is. So I tried another local pizza shop by me, Anthony's Pizza and Pasta, and I'm SO glad I did. Anthony's pizza beats Mulberry street by a long shot. Their pizza is authentic and delicious, best in the area. Their service is always great and the people are kind, and they have great pricing. We are happy to be new regulars to this pizza shop. My family enjoys their pepperoni pizza often, they don't skimp out on the meat! I just wish they offered gluten free pizza! Crust is thin and the review from my family is 'lots of cheese, pepperoni and not soggy!'. It's right on Udall and easy to get in, grab a pie or a slice and be on your way! In October they had a breast cancer awareness pizza, and contributed to breast cancer research which I thought was pretty incredible for a small local spot. read more

My family has been getting pizza here for the last 20 years or so. We get it because we live nearby, and my parents seem to like it all right, but it's my least favorite pizza place. The pizza is usually undercooked but somehow burnt on the bottom, and the cheese seems to all come off with the first bite no matter what. The garlic knots are usually a little too greasy and make my stomach hurt. Still, they say even bad pizza is still pretty good, so try it for yourself. Some people seem to like it. read more

Upon further review and my first time returning to this location in about a half a decade. This place is awesome. seasme seed crust?? I love You!! Crispy, perfect and Beautiful. The sauce is great and total explosion of flavor. Im happy I have returned and the owner said to me..."weren't you here yesterday?" YES I WAS!.... YES I WAS. Very big fan of the pizza here and of the location (right down the block from me, so very convenient). We've used Anthony's for several parties and have heard a lot of positive feedback from others. Our own family finds the pizza to be a great flavor. The specialty pies (buffalo chicken, meatball, etc) tend to be pretty loaded and far cheaper than some larger places. I am not a fan of the parking lot signage, as others have mentioned, but businesses do what they have to do keep their accessibility. I've never been unable to get a spot when picking up pizza, so I guess the method might be working. Also, the parking density is very dependent on the time of day. There is a dance school across the street that, when in session, basically fills every parking lot at each corner. read more

You can't go wrong with Anthony's, my family likes to use them specifically because they do so much for the community and the schools, but we are never disappointed when we do. Staff is great, and his catered food is to die for. We always order from them for every occasion, it's basically a family tradition at this point. Also my favorite garlic knots around here, and i've tried a bunch of different local pizza places. Not always accurate with pick up times or delivery times, but for the most part great all around. In a pinch, stopped in to pick up pizza dough. Waited 5 minutes for this guy to make change out of a briefcase of money. Owner charges 5$ for the dough, which we all know that you can get it at any pizza place for $2.50-3.00 Max! Go to the car and wife freaks because this guy charged double. She immediately goes back in to tell him to keep it. This guy has the balls to deny it and says that's what everyone charges. My machine is 20,000 etc.... Result? Great food and great service! The penne ala vodka is absolutely amazing. The best vodka sauce I have ever had. As for the review about the cheese coming off they use one of the best cheeses Grande. I called and asked if I could place an order to have delivered at a specific time for a kids party. The party was taking place from 6:00-8:00. After placing the order, the person on the phone said it would take 45 minutes. I reminded him that I wanted the food delivered at a certain time. The food arrived 40 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. When I called to discuss the matter, the owner would not get on the phone and the so called manager I spoke to kept asking me to hold on so he could speak to someone else about what to tell me. He eventually said he would send over new pizzas by 6:30 so my guests would not have to eat cold pizza. The new pizzas did not arrive until 7:05. By this time I had already served the cold pizza since the party was over at 8:00. The delivery person told me that Anthony wanted the old pizzas back. He said he was going to go to the car and call Anthony to see what to do and come back in to let me know. After a few minutes I went outside to watch the delivery person drive away. No response or apology for their mistake. I spent $105 for pizza that was not up to par. Sadly the owners and staff did not accept responsibility for their mistake, offer a better solution, or try to make it better. I will not give Anthonys my business again and will inform my friends to avoid this business. read more
