Filettos used to be the gold standard in East Northport. Ever since they opened up in Commack the quality in East Northport went into the gutter. We started going to Mario's in East Northport. It's not what Filettos was but it is definitely better. We tried Filettos again last night. The pizza was over cooked and dry the veal parmigiana was tuff as shoe leather. What the hell Filettos! Always delicious food at both Filetto's locations - East Northport and Commack. We went to the east northport location and opted in for the pasta night. Pastas were great size portions that left us with leftovers for the next day. Service was attentive and timely, and the food came out quick. Casual ambiance, and quiet for a Tuesday night. We got a cheese pie as well (not pictured) and was delicious and comparable to the Commack location. Consistency is key!!! Will definitely be back to the east northport location. What a great spot! My family came for the weeknight special, which came with a bunch of courses for a great price. We tried a few different entrées, including the Eggplant Parmigiana, Filet of Sole, and Chicken Parmigiana, all of which were delicious! We finish the meal off with cannolis, which were also very tasty. Service and ambiance were above expectations. The waitress was very attentive and checked in a bunch. For the deal, this place is worthwhile, but I've certainly had better Italian in the NY/NJ area. read more

Their pizza by the pie and slice is delicious. Their catered half trays, not so much. My family used to order catering from filetto's for parties, always getting the eggplant rollatini, capellini cakes, and chicken parm. Every single time they forgot the tomato sauce for the capellini cakes. We always had to call and remind them to bring it, and still the poor delivery person had to go back and retrieve it when inevitably there was no sauce in our order. The last straw for us was when we got three trays for Christmas Eve and they all felt really light. We opened them up and the eggplant and chicken were only filled up about halfway, and instead of a layer of shredded mozzarella covering them, there slices of barely-melted deli mozzarella cheese. Most of the capellini cakes were burnt, and smaller than we'd gotten in the past. I would say the saving grace of filetto's is the pizza- not the overpriced personal pizza, but their brick oven 18" pies. My all time favorite is the spinach artichoke slice, with little pieces of sun dried tomato and cheese on top. The white pizza is great too. However there is still a very long wait for whenever you want to pick up your pizza, so it's not perfect. read more

I ordered a bolognese tonight and while I was excited to sit down after a long day of work. Come to home I open the bag and lid and see a container of noodles with barely any meat or sauce. The noodles were mostly dry and I ended up having to pull out sauce and make more to enjoy it. Payed 23 dollars and still endedup having to make the other half, crazy.!!!!!!!!! read more

Like all towns on Long Island's what do you have most, Banks, Pharmacies and Pizza places. What makes Filetto's stand out is the entertainment they provide while you dine in on Friday's, which is only secondary to their great food. Counter service and table service are good. We stopped in for pizza, I asked if we could sit at one of the "many" empty tables. They said no!! I will never go back there again!! Service here is pathetic to say the least. Slow even when empty, no communication. Nothing special about this place at all.

Word of advice: check every bag before the driver leaves. Ordered soup, appetizers, salad and entrees and 2 liter bottle of soda. Specifically asked the delivery guy if the soda was in one of the bags and he said yes. I immediately opened all bags and no soda. Slice contacted the restaurant and was told they would NOT be sending out a soda. This is the 3rd time now this place has left off items and has done nothing to resolve! Pizza is great. Hands down. But.....I ordered chicken sorentino and it was gross. The chicken was submurged into what looked like gravy/soup. If it's gravy then it shouldn't be drowning the chicken because literally it was soup. The mozzarella was actually floating to the top. It looked awful and I bit into the chicken and it didn't taste like chicken. Who's cooking back there? I didn't ask for my money m back. I just took two bites and threw the whole thing in the garbage. Someone has to seriously check that cook. He needs monitoring. Have had their regular pies a few times now and they are pretty good. But today when I decided to grab their specialty wood burning brick oven pies, I died on the inside when I saw they were making them in the same gas oven as their original pies. Considering you are paying a premium for the brick oven pies, you expect it to have that char and smoky flavor, though the flavor was there from the ingredients used, it lacked that authentic wood burning oven taste. The wood burning oven was covered up as if it was out of order. But why not mention this to your customers when they are placing the order... read more

Filleto's pizza, slaps. I am surprised too. I've ordered their Margherita pizza and it is so, so good. I've had a lot of pizza in my life and this pie is done right. The flavor is insane, it's crisp enough, ingredients taste fresh, not too salty, just super enjoyable. Their seafood bisque is also really tasty. That's all I've had from them so I can't comment on anything else but if you're getting those two things right, for me, I will definitely be back. This place was over the top for out party of 50. The food was terrific and the desire for the staff to create dishes for one of our vegan and one of our gluten free friends was so appreciated. Two of us walked in on a Wednesday night. It wasn't busy at all. The waitress at my area chose to serve those walked in after us and completely ignored us (a woman and a child). Regardless I waved my hand or said, "Hello" multiple times, I got no attention or response. All other waitresses stood around chatting. After wasting 15 minutes of my life sitting there, I saw the guy (coming in 5 mins after me) sitting across was already served with a glass of water and his order was taken, we decided to get up and leave. I could have walked to talk to someone by the cashier and "beg" my order to be taken. But why? With tips and all the up charges fees (3.5% if using credit or debit card), they just don't deserve your money if they don't respect their customers. read more

We're regulars here, they have great pizza and great food generally, the reason I'm giving 4 stars is that they play games with credit card fees. I paid them $50 cash and $11 on my credit card but they charged me 35% for credit card fees. Definitely a little shady so just be careful and review your bill. read more

I ordered the Greek salad & a side of spaghetti with meat sauce from Filetto's in East Northport to take home. The salad was the worse I ever saw, all the lettuce edges were brown, the feta was of very poor quality, as was the olives. The dressing wasn't even a Greek dressing. We recently went to Filetto and tried out their new Sunday through Thursday menu. It offers a choice of soup salad a rice ball choice of several entrées, dessert and coffee for 2395. The portion size was great. The selections were delicious and we were very happy with the service. I think there's new menu is going to be a real hit, and would highly recommend everyone to try it . Had a great lunch today. My sister in law and I took 5 girls to lunch. They had a big selection of fresh pizzas and garlic knots, capellini cake. We got a great salad with veggies. The staff was very friendly and Richie the owner came out to greet us and make sure everything was good. I def reccomend this place. read more
