Been here so many times. Such an amazing resort, especially after a great storm. Love this place, worth every penny, runs are great, parks are fun, so many runs, easy to challenging, shuttles through out the city, parking can be a challenge but they try. Very clean, and lots of places to eat and drink and buy souvenirs or things you might need

Had a few of their custom winter drinks at the bar called tucks. While the kids had ski lessons I took a well deserved break. Was pretty packed, but managed to find seats. And enjoyed my drinks with the view.

Stopped for lunch while on the slopes and grabbed a bread bowl with chili to skip the lines at the different restaurant. The food was good but was hard to find a spot.

Visiting from Southern California. This is a great resort staff was great and views are incredible. Mammoth provides lift for all levels beginners to intermediate. Trails were nice fluffy and well manicured. Cons: Expect big crowds and parking can be a nightmare on weekends

The Main Lodge is the prime hub in Mammoth where the skiers and boarders have access to the gondolas, restrooms, food and drinks, lockers, and places to rest. Like other lodges, it gets crowded during peak season. And when it's crowded, you also get the stench from sweaty people mixed with the scent of various hot food items and all the nasty wet-carpet smell. It seriously made me nauseous walking in here and made me so lightheaded! I also saw a bunch of trash left on several tables (after the lunch rush). Despite the horrid smell, they do serve a good purpose by providing shelter from the cold and a spot to rest up, eat, drink, etc. There is plenty of parking within the Main Lodge as well as on the streets. The road- and walkways are well-maintained keeping snow away. The areas for bus routes are clearly marked. And they have a few pick up and drop off spots, that lead directly from the bottom of the mountain. Overall, can't complain about the services offered; however, cleanliness can also be a priority! On a more brighter note, I will say that they do have employees with positive attitudes here! :)

I returned to Mammoth this past weekend to snowboard one last time before the season ended. Luckily, it snowed when I was there. The Main Lodge is the center of all the action in Mammoth with a lot of foot traffic. The other lodges were closed for the season, and Main wasn't as crowded as it was in March, which was nice. The wait for our lift tickets and rentals was about 10 minutes. Since they had our information from the last trip, it saved some time. They suggested I get a different snowboard size, which I ended up liking a lot better. There are clean bathrooms, good food options, a hydration station, and a bar. It's also nearby the gondola. There's indoor and outdoor seating so you can enjoy the view of people doing tricks in the park or coming down Broadway. Main Lodge may get busy but has all the essentials to make your trip enjoyable.

This review is for the food at Main Lodge because I have to say, after visiting a lot of ski resorts, this place had one of the best options for reasonably priced and quality food. Cafeteria style, salad station, sandwich station, grill station, then you have your drinks and dessert in a refrigerated shelf, there's a soup / chili section in the middle where you serve yourself in either a bowl or bread bowl. Baked goods, chips, and snacks by the check out counter. Very easy to navigate and somewhat efficient. I was food creeping before I ordered and was gravitating towards the pastas and the fries / tots. So we ended up ordering their Chicken Alfredo pasta (they don't skimp on the chicken and cheese here - it was delicious!), then we did the mushroom ravioli with pesto (yum!). Each order comes with a slice of bread. Around $12 per plate, it is a pretty generous portion. I had to take half to go. It does take a little while to get your food because they cook per order. The flavors were fresh and good. The tater tots are so good. Made fresh to order as well, perfectly crispy on the outside but soft in the middle. A small size was about $6.25 and it was plenty to share between two. Their chicken tenders with fries look bomb. The cheesecake tasted okay, probably store bought and just packaged but it satisfied my sweet cravings that day. The salads were reasonable for about $12 with protein already. Seating just might be a little tricky depending on what time you're trying to eat. Just be patient and make friends, share a table. I'd eat here again.

Visiting during Covid and they are not missing a beat up here. Mandatory masks on at all times. Staff was incredibly attentive and I felt very safe. You do have to order if you sit at the tables on the deck. Sergio is absolutely the best!

Mammoth Mountain and the staff are awesome. Best spring skiing in the world. I'll go back this year before they close.

I planned this trip with a group of friends, and they could not stop commenting about how the chalets was the best stay they've been in at Mammoth. We stayed at chalet #9 which was not a ski out, but a very short walk to the main lodge/lifts and definitely a ski in from lower road runner. The chalet itself was cozy with plentiful seating, and even extra foldable chairs for our group. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms came equipped with hotel sized toiletries, which was a nice touch. The kitchen is a good size and well equipped with all the necessities, along with a fridge/freezer that was the perfect size to fit all of our weekend groceries. I also appreciated that they even had a huge pot to make group meals like pho, even though I had already brought my own instant pot. I would 110% stay here again and recommend the chalets to all of my family and friends. This was such a wonderful find. Thank you for the awesome stay Mammoth Mountain Chalets! :)

The location is excellent -- less than a 5-minute walk to the gondola. They also offer ski valet right in the lobby, which makes the walk even shorter. Huge plus: boot dryers. Check-in was super easy, and we upgraded our room to one of their "condos." Just to set expectations: this isn't a full condo. It's essentially a hotel room with a small living area and a Murphy bed. Still comfortable and totally fine for what we needed. The best part of this hotel is that it's dog-friendly -- and truly dog-friendly. Any size dog, big or small, and there were dogs everywhere (including ours). There's a forested area behind the hotel that's perfect for letting your pup play in the snow. One downside: some guests don't pick up after their dogs, so there was dog poop around even though the hotel provides bag dispensers. Maybe adding more (or enforcing cleanup) would help. The price is good, the hotel is clean, but it is old -- very old -- and definitely showing its age. The hallway floors are uneven, the elevator makes some questionable noises, and nothing about it feels modern. That said, after skiing all day, the four hot tubs and heated pool are amazing and very much appreciated. I stay here for convenience, not luxury. The beds are comfortable, towels are clean, and that's honestly all we need. Plus, it's close to The Yodler, our favorite restaurant. We've stayed here many times before and will stay many times again.

Some really nice views of the Mammoth Mountain ski facility from this place! All the staff are very friendly starting right at check-in and helpful when we needed it. Overall, the facility is a bit dated, and some things could use repairing or replacement, but everything worked, was clean, and had a nice mountain chalet, feel to it. We ate at both restaurants located on the property, enjoying the yodeler by far the best! Outside hot tub and pool have great views of the mountain and the indoor hot tub tubs are for when it's too cold outside. Great access to outdoor activities at 8900 feet! It was nice to not be stuck in the town of Mammoth Lakes and up in nature! I would not hesitate to stay here again on a future visit

It was our first time staying as we used to stay in the village but we have our Molly now so we wanted a dog friendly place. The "bad" reviews had me a little worried but from the moment we arrived through the morning we had to head home it was amazing! Everything! Ross, Dave, Aldo, Mike and I know I'm missing some but they were all the best! Great personalities and so helpful and personable! We had one day with no power as the electric company was working on something above and Ross called to let us know the day before. We were fine and just kept the refrigerator closed all went sightseeing down 395 all day but they offered to charge any devices in the lodge if need be etc. The continental breakfast was perfect and delicious. Great choices. We had a kitchen in our room as we do like to cook so we did not try the restaurant for lunch or dinner this time but we enjoyed a cocktail. We loved the cabin itself from the fireplace, the bedrooms and two different bathrooms and the kitchen had everything we needed to the lakes so close for Molly.
