The view from our balcony of Chalet 15.

The only place to stay in Mammoth! Debbie is AMAZING, and the chalets are so cute and cosy. We stayed in chalet 15, which had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and plenty of space for our party of 6. The location is incredible, the lifts and lodge were only a few hundred feet away. We just strapped in and skiied down to the lifts! The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need to cook your meals, including a BBQ. The chalet retains heat very well, and has a fireplace and heaters throughout. The beds were all very comfortable, and so are the couches. Plenty of room to hang out inside if you're not into skiing. We are already planning our return trip! Thank you to Debbie and all the womderful staff at Mammoth Mountain Chalets for making our stay so easy and enjoyable.

We just came back from four days of heaven! We had a great experience at the mountain chalets to say the least. I didn't know what to expect because it was our first time in mammoth. We went 6 families, each two staying in one chalet. The kids had so much fun enjoying nature. The chalets were equipped with everything you can imagine. Our cabin had tons of board games for the kids and adults to enjoy. We went fishing two days in the lake. The nature was so beautiful. The kids enjoyed playing around outside. We will definetly come back in the winter. The chalets were clean and cozy. The people in the office were hospitable, helpful and friendly.

Amazing place to stay. Cabin 22 felt very remote with the recent 20 feet of snowfall. The kitchen was a nice set up to enjoy while family gathered. Beds were comfy, fireplace cozy. The staff were helpful and the snowcat rides were fun. We had 1 car over allowed and we simply parked in the mammoth Mountain parking roadside. Super easy.

Residual food/drink splatter on the wall of chalet 14

My friends and I just spent four nights in Mammoth Mountain Chalet #14. We were able to ski off the run right to our cabin, which was very cool. When we arrived, the chalet was a bit dusty, had some cobwebs, and some of the walls needed some cleaning attention too. Given the price for our stay, our cleanliness expectations were certainly higher. The on-site manager offered to send a cleaner over when we brought these issues to her attention but we declined since we were all already there for the weekend and did not want the intrusion. The snow was incredibly deep and up to the peak of the two-story roof. It was beautiful and like something out of a Christmas story. I am told these chalets are the original Mammoth Mountain A-frame chalets. The weight of the snow (snow load) was enough to skew most of the doorframes and prevent normal door alignment/closure. The manager explained that this structure shift was normal for the 50+ year-old chalets as the snow loads increased. Make sure you are comfortable with and understand the potential for any structure "shift" based upon the current snow load. If you are concerned, you might contact a local structural engineer to inquire about typical, normal, and or safe structure shifting due to the weight of present snow conditions. A local engineer should be readily familiar with this condition and his or her insight may address any concerns ahead of time. We were later contacted by the corporate manager who was very apologetic and offered to refund a portion of our rental.

Mammoth Mountain chalets what a treat! It was such a fun time at Mammoth Mountain we were at the base of the mountain and within walking distance easy walking distance to the chairlift with unbelievable service from Karen and her whole team in the office we had no worries. We needed an extra crockpotwe would love to know if we could check in possibly 30 minutes early if available we needed extra covers wanted to understand the rules of weather patterns services is as top drawer as it gets! In addition to our cabin was so accommodating for 12 people we were all comfortable it was completely stocked!!!. All of the cookware was top drawer all clad brand. We had wine glasses, coffee cups coffee dispenser even a blow dryer in the master suite. Linens were provided and sleeping bags unnecessary to bring and there was enough towels for everybody staying in the cabin. furniture was well cared for too! wood was already in the cabin for the entire stay. there was sledding slides for the kids so we wanted nothing and if necessary we could have even had our groceries delivered and our skis delivered through their partners ! what it amazing trip I highly recommend this place it is a jewel of the area my best regards to everybody we will make it our annual tradition! Huge patio deck and huge gathering table were a JOY!!!

Managing a group of kids with very different skill levels is no small task, but Drew handled it with patience, enthusiasm, and impressive skill. He quickly assessed where each child was at and tailored his guidance so everyone felt challenged while still having fun and building confidence on the mountain. Over the two days, Drew took the kids all over the mountain, helping them explore new terrain while always keeping safety front and center. His clear instructions and practical tips made a noticeable difference in their skiing, and it was great to see their progress even within a short time. Drew has a great way of explaining technique in a way kids understand, which helped them improve without feeling overwhelmed. One of the highlights for the kids was spending time in the ski park, where Drew showed them some fun tricks and helped them try new things safely. He struck the perfect balance between encouraging them to push their limits and making sure they stayed in control and confident. By the end of the lessons, all four kids were excited about how much they had learned and couldn't stop talking about their favorite runs. We're incredibly grateful for the experience and would highly recommend Drew Harris to other families looking for a fantastic ski instructor. His ability to manage multiple levels, keep kids engaged, and make learning fun made these two days on the mountain truly memorable.

For the 2025/2026 season it was the location for good skiing and even more so in the later part. The strangest season I've ever seen. Snow then rain, hot then cold then hot again, but Mammoth came through with some very good skiing if you were there at the right time. Nice upgrades on the Mtn with high capacity lifts and grooming but would like to see better dining options at the Main Lodge. Another thought would be for Alterra to loosen up with lift ticket options and pricing instead of forcing one to purchase the Ikon. All considerations taken Mammoth is still a great ski mountain and I look forward to next season........

I came in here around 11am, however, their restaurant doesn't open until noon. There is a really nice lounge area where there are two fireplaces, jazz playing and a really cozy space to just relax. I just came here both days resting between XC sessions, ate some lunch I brought, had some water and just chilled out. Id definitely love to return and have a cocktail here and hang out here with a special someone, flirting the night away, plotting some clandestine tryst (maybe a beautiful hike into the mountains behind - looking at stars, listening for wild animals) and deeply enjoying life, big grins, and making each day count. Id also consider staying here on my next return, the surrounding area is just gorgeous!

We stayed in a cabin and it was fantastic. We had a deck overlooking Twin Lakes and the cliffs above, a kitchen where we cooked one night (who wants to leave heaven?), a fireplace, and was totally clean. The only downside and definitely a star deduction was perhaps it was too clean and smelled strongly of cleaning solution. We left open all the window and turned up the heat at night and turned on all the fans when we left for the day and by the second day, it was tolerable. Continental breakfast was fine with hard boiled eggs and yogurt for protein and cream cheese and peanut butter and all the toastable carbs. We loved our hikes and I loved kayaking on Twin Lakes. It's a perfect one-hour paddle and so peaceful up at the waterfall.

Parking was easy to find & the unit was conveniently located on the ground floor. Nice landing with hooks to hang our coats & stuff. Good size living room & dining area with sliding doors that open to the patio. The kitchen was well equipped with everything necessary to make nice meals. It even came with a welcome package of paper towels, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, & some kitchen towels. Freshly laundered towels were also provided. Small TV, WiFi included. Rooms are decorated just like any typical cabin would. Here's the thing, if you have a bad back... highly suggest you sleep in one of the (2) twin beds in the other bedroom. Those feel a little more firm than the master's which felt like sleeping on cotton candy. Haha. Futon pulls out into a bed, but we just moved the mattress to the floor since it was pretty worn out & you can feel the springs on your back. Dining chairs are wobbly. Just needs a little updating for comfort. Otherwise, we love it here.

Parking - 2 in the garage, 2 in driveway and guest parking available. Complex - Modern, clean and still under development. Condo - Place was new and well kept up, good decor , all kitchen supplies provided, view from deck and some of the rooms. Overall nice place but pricing is kinda high.

We can't tell you enough how helpful Nicole Godoy was in helping us achieve our dream home in…read moreMammoth. From the start, she went out of her way to make us feel like we were her only customers. We go to Mammoth 5-10 times a year, and decided we were going to investigate a vacation home there. We always go in November to start the ski season off, and we were speaking to a guest where we usually stay about the possibility of getting a place. She recommended Nicole at Resort Property Realty and gave us her number. We called just to investigate, and Nicole said she would drive out to the resort where we were staying and answer any questions. She drove in a pretty good snow storm to come meet us, spoke with us for about an hour, and fielded all our questions. That was over a year ago. We kept in touch and I kept receiving her listing emails (per my request). She helped us develop a plan of attack on getting the right property, and she knew just what we were looking for, and in the area we wanted. For over a year, what we were looking for was not opening up, but suddenly, right before our next November trip, she emailed us with the perfect place for what we wanted. Amazing! By this time and with her help, we were ready to act and we had her put an offer on it, site unseen. We trusted her judgement on what we were looking for and she told us it matched exactly what we wanted, so we went with it. From start to finish, she was incredible! She got us into escrow so fast, and even though there were two other contingencies with the seller, we opened and closed the deal in under a month. Better yet, she arranged everything from afar for us and kept us constantly in the loop with all that was happening during the sale. There were hardly any hiccups between what we were asking and what the sellers were asking, and I believe that was because of Nicole and her excellent communication skills. We now have the beautiful place we've been dreaming of, and we can't thank her enough for all of her help! Yes, we highly recommend Nicole at Resort Property Realty.
