Great spot for sandwiches! They have an excellent selection, from classic Italian subs to pulled pork to a cool take on a banh mi inspired sandwich. The sandwiches have huge portions and come out hot and quick and they have a nice selections of drinks too. The only downside is that the sandwiches are a little on the oilier side, but that can definitely be overlooked because of how good they taste

A fun spot to grab a bite. We brought our grandson here, snagged a spot outside and enjoyed pre-hot air balloon dinner. The restaurant has counter service, and it was quite busy so we had a bit of a wait. I think we were starved. I opted for the Nessie, which had tuna and a soft boiled egg. It was a good sandwich portion, but I had mistakenly thought it would be bigger (more fitting of the name). Sandwiches were filling, not overly so. Really fresh ingredients and good flavor combinations. The turkey-cream cheese-cranberry is always a crowd pleaser. Good atmosphere on a Sunday evening. I'd recommend giving them a try.

We were going to a concert at Climate Pledge and needed a quick bite, so Mammoth was a great choice! Parking near the Seattle Center is an adventure, especially on event days. The space features indoor/outdoor seating, which is perfect for a casual night out. Not a huge space, so not ideal for large groups! The staff was wonderful while we were there! Plenty of sandwich choices to pair with the full bar available! We ordered the Sabertooth, which was a huge sandwich, loaded with meat and cheese! The perfect meal before our show!

Sandwiches were good but don't be fooled by the name, these sandwiches are not mammoth. Had the Moa which was good but nothing special. Also had the Cro Magnon which was a bit too vinegary with the combination of the Italian dressing and the giardiniera. Would probably be better with just an olive oil mix to top it off.

The bread on the sandwich is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, so good. However, the insides left something more to be desired because there was a little too much oil and mayo. Staff are friendly, and there are plenty of seats for a quick serve place, but not a lot of soft seating.

I walked in around opening and there was already a line, which was a good sign in my book! The line moved fast, and I ordered the Stonehenge (though honestly every sandwich sounded delicious). I love sandwiches, and this sandwich was probably one of the best I've ever had. The sliced turkey was juicy, and the cream cheese was not nearly as overpowering as I thought it would be. I would have preferred a bit more basil (I love it), but it was still really unique and well balanced! I highly recommend checking this place out, and will definitely be back!

Before the opera, my sisters and I checked out a great little place for dinner down the block. Seating is inside and out. With the colder, slightly raining weather, most people were inside so seating availability was at a premium. The menu has good options and fun unique sandwich names. I had the Nessie (tuna). Very tasty. Hot Apple Cider is a must! You will thank me!

Took my friend here before a show and we both liked our sandwiches. The menu is so flexible for vegetarians and for modifications, so I love it. The service is always great and she brought our food to us since it wasn't too busy. The vibe is usually pretty chill, even when it is crowded, because the bar/sandwich shop combo works well. This is one of my go to spots before a show at the ballet or rep or anything in that vicinity.

We visited Mammoth around 11:40 AM on a Saturday. There were only 2-3 other people there, and there were plenty of seats available. We ordered the Smokey in the Pig (pulled pork with coleslaw and BBQ) and the Predator (chicken sandwich). The pulled pork was decent; it was a bit sweeter than I prefer, but overall it made for a good, hearty sandwich. However, I was disappointed with the Predator. While the sauce and bread were good, the meat itself was chewy and had an odd texture. The service was quick and decent

During a lazy weekend early afternoon spent at Seattle Center we decided to look for a place for a quick bite. Mammoth, a counter service establishment that seemed to serve delicious sandwiches, came out on top. It wasn't too busy since it was past prime lunch hours. When we ordered at the counter, the cashier told us 12 minutes for the sandwich. It took less than ten. Taurus ($19) - Oomph that pricing. Just last month this sandwich was $16! The sandwich comes out piping hot with steam leaking out in every direction. Since it's is wrapped up in paper, the steam penetrates the bun, softening it a bit. Each bun half is toasted on both sides, delivering maximal crunch - but again, is softened by the steam and copious amounts of oil and liquid that drip out from the meat. The bun is still very good - it feels like a softened but fresh focaccia. Inside the bread is plenty of brisket, mostly centered to avoid spillage. It's studded with peppers and onion, giving a tiny bit of spice and a nice tangy flavor. It tastes kind of like carne seca but with plenty of oil and moisture throughout. There's a lot of fatty and stretchy cheese below, then a layer of arugula and spinach for a bitter and astringent kick. Finally, I believe they add a bit of horseradish aoili that complements everything else very well. It's not a super large sandwich, but is filling enough. (5/5) I do have to say that the sandwiches are on the pricey side due to the recent menu adjustments. Mammoth is definitely not an everyday sandwich kind of place for me, but it's a restaurant that I'd certainly return to. I just have to get used to $20 sandwiches! Bathrooms - Large ones with multiple stalls, requires code to enter

So fast, and so delicious. I was not really interested in trying this because we had somewhere to be but my boyfriend convinced me to stop and well... this may be the best sandwich I've ever had. I got the Stonehenge and... 10/10. Because of the warm toasted bread, the cream cheese and cranberry jam melted together to make the yummiest sauce. The sandwich was not huge but it was well stuffed so by the end I was completely full! Would eat this sandwich every day if I could

Great place to get sandwiches in the Queen Anne area. Pretty good size for a sandwich and a very flavorful. I did like their brisket more than their chicken. Cool and meat spot to casually grab a quick sandwich. French onion dip was pretty good as well. Overall, I recommend I would come back.

The food here is definitely good -- fresh ingredients and solid flavor overall. However, the price point feels a bit steep for what you get. Spending around $50 for lunch for two people, you'd expect huge, "mammoth"-sized sandwiches given the name. Instead, the portions are more average than impressive. It's not a bad experience by any means, but considering the cost, it's hard to say if it really delivers the value you'd expect. Worth trying once, but maybe not a regular stop unless the pricing matches the portion or quality a bit more closely.

Fantastic sandwiches and salad. We got the Moa, Smokey pig, and cro magnon. 10/10 food and service.

Holy stars aligned to get us here…read more We went to a bar down at Pikes and apparently some soccer game was on so noone was eating or drinking but the wait was 90 minutes so we left. Wander down streets and see this place tucked off behind the railroad tracks. Had a couple glasses of water and a sharpie mustache beer while wife debated if she wanted to eat there or not. Got another third side on the moon beer and ordered a Seattle burger (cream cheese, who knew) with tots and an elote. Asked the guy how he felt about the mushrooms and he gave them a very enthusiastic rating so I ordered some. Freaking A. The mushrooms are worth the plae ticket to Seattle. Dill ranch dip. Crispy and delicious. The burger was good, more of a cream cheese sauce. The tots were just as tots should be crunchy on the outside and soft inside The elotes retained their heat for so long that we had them for dessert.

Ambiance is techno retro and comfortable with a waterside vibe (although you can't really see the water). Would recommend!

We came here to eat because it was near our hotel. I was OBSESSED with the crab nachos. 2 months later, I moved out here all on my own. Now, 8 years later, I live nearby. Whenever someone is visiting, we come here. Whenever I run into a stranger visiting, i say they have to come here. My friends know if i'm celebrating anything, "are you getting crab nachos?!" It's become a part of my personality at this point. I have so much respect for the owners, the way they run their business and their honesty online. No one I've brought here has had a bad thing to say regardless of what they ordered. My go to is: Pull apart bread, crab nachos (with their hot sauce!! which, btw can i buy that by the bottle.. cause YUM) + whatever drink is calling my name (they rotate, but if you can get the pina colada you won't regret it). tldr; you'll regret NOT coming here.

I remembered that their drinks and bourbon selection/pricing used to be incredible. As with all things lately, prices have gone up on some of their rarer pours. The standard basic cocktails though were still reasonable and decently priced for the location. The atmosphere is great and service was pretty quick. The outdoor patio is still there which was a nice addition from 2019/2020 era. Some of their bourbons are still reasonably priced. Their food is pretty good. Would recommend the tacos, the burger, and carne asada. The nachos were not particularly for me, and also seemed to come out cold. Seemed to have cheese sauce instead of actual cheese. It was a cold day however. This place is mainly great for happy hour after work, but will come back and try dinner another time. Staff is great though. Really quaint and awesome spot to post up. good food, good service, good drinks, good selection, and still better pricing than most bars with what they have to offer. Will be going back again sooner. cheers

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!
