    Eggs Benedict

Had coffee here late the night before. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Got an early start on our way to Orcas Island and had breakfast here. We sat by a gas fireplace and had some of the best poached eggs I've ever had in a Benedict. Great easy place located in the Thompson Seattle.

A solid four-star experience. The restaurant inside the hotel bar offers great food and genuinely good customer service. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, making it an easy place to unwind after a long day. The only downside was the limited champagne selection, which felt a bit lacking given the otherwise high-quality experience. Overall, a very good spot with just a little room for improvement. Would happily return.

Go here! We had a late dinner on our first night in Seattle and the ambiance, food and service were all 10/10. Started with harissa carrots- delicious! I had the salad as an entree and my daughter had the chicken sandwich - both amazing. Oscar was our server and he is the BEST! We splurged and shared the brownie dessert. Holy F*ck!! That dessert was life changing! Highly recommend.

    Burger medium. Quite good.

Arrived late and decided to perch on the bar for a simple dinner. Chose burger, medium, and a beer. Both were quite satisfactory, but also failed to blow my socks away. Burger and fries were good yet over-priced for its quality level. I expected a perfect patty, satisfying buns, fresh condiments, and sensational secret sauce for a total of over $40 tap.

The way i got to know about this restaurant because i was staying with this hotel Thompson for 4 nights and my breakfast is at this restaurant. I came every morning for breakfast everyday and i am greeted by everyone. It was a open seating area which was one of the best part for me as i like to have a good view towards outside as i like to trade stocks with my calm mind and they have long glass windows with a nice fire pit on side as it was cold outside. I was on a vacation for a week my mornings are always chaos in my everyday life and i'm glad the music was soft, restaurant was quiet, calm, cozy during my stay, live kitchen was not making any noise. Service- i got served by 3 different servers on my 4 days breakfast all of them were fantastic while the one who worked on 8th jan thursday morning was the best. coffee were refilled without me asking them very professional people served with a great smile . Food- menu is short and amazing, portions are huge very well platted i wish they had waffles or pancakes on the menu at this cold seattle city. Ambience- glass windows, fir pit, some booth seating some high top with a view, spacious and very relaxed vibes which was the best part and i'm going to miss it soo much. I had a dinner plans every night so i could not see how is the dinner there but i'm sure they had a great food and service too there..

The crispy sunchokes are very unique & delicious. The house rolls are very flaky and dry, I'm not sure I'd get those again. The risotto was also very tasty. The ambiance is good and they have a great rooftop bar called the nest at this hotel too! Pro tip: get drinks at the nest and then come here for dinner and you'll save 15% on your food!

My visit to Conversation was unplanned, and I'm so glad that it ended up happening because WOW what a great experience! Seattle traffic was doing it's thing, and my drive home was set to take two hours. How about.... no. Decided to wait out the worst of it and enjoy dinner with a few Yelp friends after an event nearby. Probably would've never visited here otherwise so I'm glad we were forced to enjoy dinner here! The vibe is on the casual side while still being swanky and a good spot for a date night. Service was kind and quick as well which is always appreciated. Enjoyed a couple of glasses of a Pinot Grigio that was delicious. We skipped any appetizers and went straight for entrees - I got the Lamb Bolognese and when I tell you this is one of the best pastas I've had in the Seattle area, I mean it! Sooo much flavor and everything was cooked to perfection. I normally am not able to clean my plate at most restaurants, but the serving size was just enough to make me a taaaad too full because I pushed myself to eat it all. It was that good. A couple of my fellow diners had the Wagyu Burger and they both sang praises for it several times. I'm delighted to have Conversation on my radar now. Would return in a heartbeat for dinner when I'm in the area again! I saw that they have brunch as well which is now on my list to indulge in eventually.

The food, service, ambiance and hospitality are superb here! It's a calm environment where there's no shouting to converse, seating is comfortable and above all the food is pure comfort. Rose was our server, she was very attentive and made sure our glasses were never empty. Lucas has a strong knowledge of wine, informing his team of what pairs well with what you order. Cheers to him! I would recommend Conversation to anybody celebrating, for a date or just wanting to have a great time. We all need good conversation and good food. Thank you!

    Steel Cut Oatmeal was awesome!!!

Had the opportunity to have breakfast twice here at Conversation while staying at the Thompson Seattle. Nice ambiance with the southern corner of the restaurant near window having nice view of the Sound. Other parts of the restaurant don't necessarily have a view but the decor and vibe inside is quite nice. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Had the steel cut oats twice because they were so good. Fresh berries with a light maple syrup glaze overlying the oats provide nice but not overwhelming sweetness to the dish. My wife had the salmon Benedict and said it was delicious. Coffee was delicious. Pricing was actually not too bad for a hotel restaurant. As Thompson is a part of Hotel Collection through Amex Platinum, you receive $60 per day for breakfast and both of us together including tip (no alcohol) and we stayed well within that. Give them a try whether you're staying at Thompson or in Pike Place Market area of downtown looking for a nice place to brunch.

Came here with some friends for food and drinks before a show at the Moore theater. Our server was Reggie and was very personable, kind, and funny! He made the dining experience so much fun! Thanks Reggie, for the laughs :)

Located inside of the Thompson hotel, we stopped in for a late breakfast. Place was pretty empty on a Friday - no lines. Service was good, the place looked chic and fancy and had low music playing in the background. Looks like more of a dinner option than breakfast. Food was decent, we ordered a couple eggs Benedict's and the waffle.

Do they have high chairs ? We have family who will be staying at this restaurant and want us to come join them for dinner. We have two little ones and two year-old and a three month old and will need a highchair.

The space is elegant, unique, and lives up to the photos. I also want to recognize the manager, who was polite, professional, and kindly explained that reservations were required. I completely understand and respect that policy. Unfortunately, my interaction with the bartender before speaking with the manager was the complete opposite. As I tried to get her attention, I felt like she repeatedly looked at me with annoyance and made me feel unwelcome. Rather than simply explaining the reservation policy herself, she went to get the manager instead. She had a problem with Hispanics. She refused to engaged at all. The way I was treated left me feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed, especially as someone who was genuinely excited to visit. A beautiful venue can only go so far when the hospitality doesn't match. I would have happily accepted that reservations were required if I had simply been treated with basic kindness and respect from the start. I truly hope this was an isolated incident because the location itself is stunning, and the manager handled the situation professionally. Unfortunately, because of my interaction with the bartender I've added in the photos, I don't see myself returning. Sadly they have a Prejudice bartender.
