Morgana is awesome! First time here, she looked at my hair and got it. She trimmed, buzzed and cut it as if I have been going here for years. She is great at reading your 'hair map' and cutting it just right. My 12 year old son's cut was just the same. Just a couple of questions is all she needed to get his hair right. Sometimes service is good here and others just ok. My last visit was the latter. Sideburns we're cut a bit to short for my liking even after stating to just trim them. Man Cave Salon is AWESOME! Went here to get a haircut before my brother's wedding and even brought my 16 month old son to get his first haircut. The attention to detail and professionalism was beyond my expectations. A truly pleseant experience all around. They are brand new and will forever be my go to for all future haircuts. literally destroyed my hairline cut it so low it is red and irritated I told the barber this was not what I wanted her response was "it will grow back" when I arrived 5 min early for my appointment and still waited 20 minutes to get seated into another barbers chair I drove 20 min to get it cut and the first thing she does is ruin my hair and then when I express this is not what I wanted she tells me that she thought it would look better lower without asking my concern at all.the haircut is so terrible people continue to point it out and it is literally painfu. read more

This was my first time at this salon and I will not be returning. I took my 14 year old son for a haircut. The lady that cut his hair did a horrible job. We asked for an inch off his already very long hair on top cuz we wanted to keep it kinda long, and a low fade #2. It's hard to beat a straightforward and clean haircut with a free beer included. The experience is best for me when I show up a bit early, check-in, kick back on the couches, and appreciate the cool AC since the weather has been toasty recently (early September 2022 at the time of writing). I was hesitant to try a new place at first since my hair tends to be difficult to work with--it's thick, wiry, and wavy, but I've been going to Drew and haven't been disappointed in any of my visits. He makes you feel like family, and he does his best to make sure that you're taken care of, so you walk out feeling fresh. He's a good barber and a good guy. 10/10 recommend. read more

Jerry my barber; really nice guy and you can tell he has a lot of years of experience as a barber. Knows how to cut hair and listens to you and your requests. Other than that the staff here is very nice. I was here and I told the lady to give me the fade that I asked for and nothing off the top. So first of all she takes like 40 minutes on the fade and she said she'd have to like it even it out so I was like I was so good with it. But then she said I need a trim a little bit off your bangs I said OK and she trim so much off my bangs my hair is way shorter now and I can't do anything with it and it looks terrible she cut it into like a V-shaped on my forehead she did not do a good job and she said something about k pop and that was not what I asked for and now my hair cut I can't do anything with is thanks a lot! read more

The owner and her daughter are awesome, Ashley is awesome, but this last visit with Jasmine... it was like going to Supercuts, but getting charged $80 dollars. The whole idea when they opened during the pandemic time, was a "Man Cave.' You were offered a beer, there was sports on the TV's, it was a very customer centric experience and the stylists really cared (or seemed to) about the cut and the overall experience. It was a good cut, and a really good experience. But now, it's a rushed cut, wash, and pretend back massage thing (dont really care about the back massage thing, except when you know you are being processed like a Supercuts, apathetic in and out...) yea so Islea and Ashley took the time, cared about the result, where pleasant, engaging and ultimately did a great job... but that was like 4 months ago. This last visit with Jasmine was different. The Man Cave TV's were blaring cartoons, kids movies and other stuff, it was the Supercuts kind of thing, get em in and get em out, where the stylists talk to each other and ignore the customers, as they go through the motions. I think the beer thing is completely gone, I don't really drink, but its just indicative of what seems to have happened. When I got home, my wife's reaction was, "Are you going to go back and have them fix it or?" I knew I was hustled in and out, but seriously, "She missed a spot in the back" wasn't awesome to hear. I hope the franchising for them works well and they have much success. Perhaps the original vibe, services etc are no longer important since covid is over and they are doing lots of business. I donno. If your selling the "Man Cave Experience" as an essential part of what franchisees are buying into, you might want to take a step back and remember what it was like, how you wanted your customers to feel, and what you were thinking when you first openned. I went into the Man Cave Salon for a haircut and the facial Detox. Honestly, I really went into this establishment for the facial detox, but being a man and never having this kind of service I felt this would be the place for it. I'm a 54 yr old man who works outdoors, and my facial skin had seen better days. Carla was my stylist......She made me feel very comfortable and explained the whole process. I came out of there with a kick ass haircut, but really not knowing how the facial detox went. I went home and really looked at my face in the mirror. I was highly impressed with the results. Worst place ever. My man went in there for a trim & this place decided to shave most of his hair off instead!! Literally spent 20 minutes using a 6 on him when he clearly didn't ask for that much to be shaved off & they made him pay full price! Let's not forget how they canceled his appointment yesterday for being a few minutes late yet when he came in today they had him sitting there for 5 minutes after he was scheduled & told him it would be the same stylist (which of course it wasn't).
