Morgana is awesome! First time here, she looked at my hair and got it. She trimmed, buzzed and cut it as if I have been going here for years. She is great at reading your 'hair map' and cutting it just right. My 12 year old son's cut was just the same. Just a couple of questions is all she needed to get his hair right. This was my first time at this salon and I will not be returning. I took my 14 year old son for a haircut. The lady that cut his hair did a horrible job. We asked for an inch off his already very long hair on top cuz we wanted to keep it kinda long, and a low fade #2. It's hard to beat a straightforward and clean haircut with a free beer included. The experience is best for me when I show up a bit early, check-in, kick back on the couches, and appreciate the cool AC since the weather has been toasty recently (early September 2022 at the time of writing). I was hesitant to try a new place at first since my hair tends to be difficult to work with--it's thick, wiry, and wavy, but I've been going to Drew and haven't been disappointed in any of my visits. Just because you don't have hair on the top of your head it doesn't mean you can't come to the Man Cave. Miss Resha got me looking spiffy for my wedding day. Got my beard trimmed and lined up looking sharp. And who says guys can't get waxed? I got my ears, eyebrows and nose done (not as bad as you think). I was here and I told the lady to give me the fade that I asked for and nothing off the top. So first of all she takes like 40 minutes on the fade and she said she'd have to like it even it out so I was like I was so good with it. But then she said I need a trim a little bit off your bangs I said OK and she trim so much off my bangs my hair is way shorter now and I can't do anything with it and it looks terrible she cut it into like a V-shaped on my forehead she did not do a good job and she said something about k pop and that was not what I asked for and now my hair cut I can't do anything with is thanks a lot! read more

The owner and her daughter are awesome, Ashley is awesome, but this last visit with Jasmine... it was like going to Supercuts, but getting charged $80 dollars. The whole idea when they opened during the pandemic time, was a "Man Cave.' You were offered a beer, there was sports on the TV's, it was a very customer centric experience and the stylists really cared (or seemed to) about the cut and the overall experience. It was a good cut, and a really good experience. But now, it's a rushed cut, wash, and pretend back massage thing (dont really care about the back massage thing, except when you know you are being processed like a Supercuts, apathetic in and out...) yea so Islea and Ashley took the time, cared about the result, where pleasant, engaging and ultimately did a great job... but that was like 4 months ago. This last visit with Jasmine was different. The Man Cave TV's were blaring cartoons, kids movies and other stuff, it was the Supercuts kind of thing, get em in and get em out, where the stylists talk to each other and ignore the customers, as they go through the motions. I think the beer thing is completely gone, I don't really drink, but its just indicative of what seems to have happened. When I got home, my wife's reaction was, "Are you going to go back and have them fix it or?" I knew I was hustled in and out, but seriously, "She missed a spot in the back" wasn't awesome to hear. I hope the franchising for them works well and they have much success. Perhaps the original vibe, services etc are no longer important since covid is over and they are doing lots of business. I donno. If your selling the "Man Cave Experience" as an essential part of what franchisees are buying into, you might want to take a step back and remember what it was like, how you wanted your customers to feel, and what you were thinking when you first openned. This is my spot. Love it. I did recently go in and make a quick last minute reservation and went with someone random. Let's just say I was disappointed. The owner did reach out and told me to come back in and fix it. Got in immediately. Left me a detailed message and truly cares about her customers. GO TO FALLON. She fixed my fade and got it looking perfect again. Still didn't have what I wanted out of the first cut but FALLON fixed it and 100% happy how she handled it. Been coming here for a few years and NEVER had a problem on who ever I picked. This was a one time deal. I would not judge this off one barber. The hospitality of this company is beyond perfect. Honestly, I really went into this establishment for the facial detox, but being a man and never having this kind of service I felt this would be the place for it. I'm a 54 yr old man who works outdoors, and my facial skin had seen better days. Carla was my stylist......She made me feel very comfortable and explained the whole process. I came out of there with a kick ass haircut, but really not knowing how the facial detox went. I went home and really looked at my face in the mirror. I was highly impressed with the results. Worst place ever. My man went in there for a trim & this place decided to shave most of his hair off instead!! Literally spent 20 minutes using a 6 on him when he clearly didn't ask for that much to be shaved off & they made him pay full price! Let's not forget how they canceled his appointment yesterday for being a few minutes late yet when he came in today they had him sitting there for 5 minutes after he was scheduled & told him it would be the same stylist (which of course it wasn't). I tried this "salon" for the first time today, and it was quite disappointing. Let's start with the check in process. I had an 11:15 appointment with Katie. (I booked Katie because of her good reviews online.) Not until 11:30 (15 minutes late) did the receptionist say they were ready for me, however, it was not with Katie. Staff stated that Katie was busy and I could have someone else even though I had a confirmation email confirming Katie. Strike one. The haircut - average at best - I would give it a 3 out of 10. The person cutting my hair seemed to not be very experienced as my hair is uneven on top and looks pretty bad. I will have to go home and make adjustments myself. For a $40 fade (before tip), I would say the haircut should be pretty darn good which it is not. Additionally, I did not even get lined up, so my widows peak is still grown out and my hairline is completely uneven. Strike 2. The wash was fine although the sink was on the uncomfortable side. Also, don't let the description fool you - the massage at the end of your haircut last a whole 30 seconds total - what a great massage lol! Finally, when I checked out to pay, the girl was very short and seemed quite crabby. My stylist just walked away, with no thank you or attempt to book another cut (which I wouldn't have anyways). Overall friendliness and customer service would get a 3 out of 10 in my opinion. For the price you pay here, there are far better salons and barbershops to go to. Do not go here if you are used to getting a nice fade or haircut, you will be disappointed - especially with the level of friendliness and prices here.
