I wanted to experience a noodle restaurant that served various items. So I checked the Yelp reviews and a highly rated one came up, along with two others in the area. I decided to visit Ramona Noodle House at 1415 Main St, Ramona, CA 92065 (Albertson Plaza). [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was fairly small, not very wide (see picture), but was nicely decorated with wall coverings and displays. It was very clean and well maintained.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was greeted by a Ms. P, the server, who helped me with the menu and offered suggestions. She was very attentive and provided Superior Service. I ordered: Thai Ice Tea with boba pearls, Pad Thai with beef and tom yum flavor sauce (similar to sweet and sour but not as sweet). Everything was made to order and perfectly cooked. The beef was of a great quality and tender. The noodles were perfect and the Thai Ice Tea was one of the best I've experienced. The boba pearls were house made and you could really tell. I finished with Ice Cream (9 flavors available) that was non dairy, real fruit flavoring and coconut sugar for sweetness. It was really high end quality. This establishment is family owned and operated, The chef, Ms. P, really had outstanding attitudes, which was evident from the service and food quality. There was another customer having a Pho dish, who told me it was outstanding. There were several to go orders which included a Thai Iced Tea with boba pearls (yes-its that good). [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a nice family place based on what I saw on the menu.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I really liked my experiece and HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!

Great good, fast and friendly service. We bring the family here after soccer sometimes. Dining room isn't that big but we've never really had to wait. Nice atmosphere. Try the 'crispy pork Japanese curry' rice bowl for something different. The sauce is almost like brown gravy with a bit of spice. The kids always get the ramen and that never fails.

Our family love this Asian restaurant. Food is great. Service is excellent and fast. The kid's favorite is their BobaThai Iced Tea and their Udom Shrimp. We will continue to come!

I had the tofu thin rice noodle and my friend got the Udon Shrimp Tempura

Food was good, the staff was really nice!! We arrived 30min before it closed and they were still very welcoming

Stopped in for lunch today at the Romona Noodle House and have a very nice lunch. We started with shrimp tempura and the ordered entrees. My wife had the vegetable, rice and chicken bowl and I had the glass noodles with veggies and chicken which is very similar to Pad Thai. Great little place and excellent service. The restaurant is very clean and the food tasty. Recommended

Shrimp tempura udon & Thai coffee

I tried the shrimp tempura udon & Thai coffee. They were both very good. I like more milk in my Thai coffee so maybe I should have ordered the Thai tea or stuck with ice tea. The Thai coffee was very dark & sweet so if you like it that way, you're good. The shrimp tempura udon came with 5 tempura shrimp, rectangular, like out of a package. But everything was tasty and hot. The udon broth tasted more beef based than traditional fish based. There were several fish cakes & tofu so it was a hearty bowl although with fewer noodles. Service was great, well looked after. Ambiance was spartan, not fancy, okay for a small strip mall location. This place offers affordable, tasty dishes & is a great place for a quick lunch.

We gave this place a try on during an recent trip to Ramona during Small Business Saturday. It was a pleasant surprise. The place was quaint, clean, friendly service, and a welcoming family vibe. The dishes we full of flavor and everything seemed very fresh. I tried the garlic and chili shrimp bowl and it had just the right amount of heat to warm your palate and spirits on a cold night. We don't get out to Ramona very frequently, but we'll be sure to come again on our next trip.

    Chicken Karaage

Very sad! The chicken karaage was dry and over cooked. Very tough to chewy. Shrimp tempura was as well, burnt and over cooked. Indeed this was my first visit here and won't be back.

My friend got the garlic chicken and loved it!

My order was done so quickly! I think this place is just a big secret because it wasn't too crowded. I ordered grilled tofu in the vegetarian spring rolls. Two orders, one for today I'm getting so hungry talking about them! 2 rice paper rolls stuffed with grilled tofu, lettuce, fresh mint bean sprouts & vermicelli noodles. This photo does not do it justice! Served with peanut sauce. So good - everything is so absolutely fresh - crispy vegetables. And the Stir fried egg noodle dish -crispy - OMG! I wasn't prepared for the "bird nest" noodles but was so wonderfully surprised (they need to put bird's nest noodles and more people would buy it - came with a bright tasting brown vegetarian sauce and amazing with the -vegetables and grilled tofu - (I ordered it that way). I did not touch the color on the photo. This was such a luxurious meal. So, they have a Buddha and what most people know who know Buddhists and their restaurants --Buddhist who own restaurants know how to cook fresh and keep everything clean - and they will not cheat you. It becomes giving you an amazing experience because it's really to honor Buddha - to make you happy. I mean, I wish all restaurants were owned by Buddhists. So don't be all weird when you see the Buddha out front. Seriously. Having spent a lot of time in fantastic Asia and India - the restaurants - this is very comparable. With everything going on right now in the fields and vegetable rotting in the dirt because of ICE raids, they have sourced their venders with care and can offer amazingly FRESH vegetables. Usually when I comment about vegetables in my reviews, it's to only describe them as, Meh. Not this place!!! Looks like a great date location. It's only 20 minutes from Poway. And a world away from Pho Ca Dao in Poway that NEVER gets my order right, not only not-right, you pick it up and you're paying for something more expensive - that you don't want That place is so wrong. This place is a keeper! Finding this place was like that moment when you hear angels singing aaaaaahhhhhhh I ordered take-out, but this will be one of mine and my husband's weekend places now. The interior is lovely and immaculately clean. Looks comfy - and the place is huge. Has outdoor seating.

I order fried rice dishes at many Thai establishments and usually leave underwhelmed. This one however was a standout. Boldly colored and richly flavored with noticeable wok hei. Important observation: If you happen to order Pinot Grigio when you go, make sure you're getting real wine. I ordered a glass ($12) and noticed it tasted quite off putting. Unusually sweet for a Pinot Grigio and lacking body. I mentioned this and they brought out the bottle to show me. I had to point out the label which was emblazoned with the phrase "Alcohol Removed"! I wound up switching it out for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc which was excellent. Service here is always friendly, genuine and welcoming. Probably one of the most beautiful restaurants in Ramona (inside). Highly recommended.

Metal chairs and wooden booth/bench that lines the front and side of the restaurant. Pillows are spread across the booth/bench for those needing a little back support. We were seated quickly and our waitress addressed us promptly, which is much appreciated. I ordered the nonalcoholic blackberry mojito. It took all of my might not to drink it all at once. So refreshing, not overly sweet. We ordered the Brussel sprouts appetizer, which appeared faster than we had expected. Yummy I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with the fried chicken. He ordered the burger. Fettuccine light but with excellent flavor, the fried chicken was moist and not over coated. The burger was oozing with beef juices. Although his mashed potatoes were a bit dry, the gravy was very tasty. I'd say the atmosphere is casual, but not shorts and tank casual. Definitely not business casual or dressy. The staff were all so kind and checked in on us and attended to our needs when requested. Go in and check it out for yourself, you won't regret it. That commitment to quality and sustainability is commendable and something more restaurants should strive for. The staff is knowledgeable, and it's refreshing to see a restaurant that cares about where its food comes from. Unfortunately, that attention to ingredient sourcing seems to stop when it comes to cooking oils. Many of the menu items are prepared with soybean oil, which was disappointing given the otherwise high-quality and health-conscious image of the restaurant. Soybean oil is highly processed and contains large amounts of omega-6 polyunsaturated fats. While omega-6 fats are essential in moderation, excessive consumption relative to omega-3 intake has been associated with increased inflammation in some research. Soybean oil is also more susceptible to oxidation when exposed to high cooking temperatures, potentially producing compounds that some studies suggest may contribute to oxidative stress. In addition, many health-conscious consumers actively avoid industrial seed oils such as soybean, corn, and canola oils in favor of alternatives like olive oil, avocado oil, butter, or tallow. I would gladly give Marinade on Main a higher rating if they aligned their cooking oils with the same local, high-quality standards they apply to the rest of their ingredients. Switching to avocado oil or olive oil or beef talo would be a welcome improvement and would better match the restaurant's otherwise impressive commitment to quality. * also loose the standard strip of high fructose sodas and provide more natural optikns of drinks ...

FRESH FARM EGGS!!! (5 stars + meteor shower + starlinks)…read more Pasteurized eggs are the best quality. But pasture raised + fresh farm eggs; Hens that roam freely and forage, even better quality! Did you know... fresh farm eggs can sit on the counter (unrefrigerated) for up to 14 days IF the eggs have yet been refrigerated. And they are SO good. Obviously, refrigerate if they won't be consumed within the 14 days but once refrigerated they must stay refrigerated . When buying at the booth, they have not been refrigerated. Current price: $8 for 1 dozen. Expensive but quality and freshness is priceless. If you haven't had fresh farm eggs or don't know the difference, you need to refine that pallet of yours because you are missing out. Fresh as in unwashed!!! I've gone "country" in this beach city! Many times I have considered taking the drive to Ramona to the farms to hunt for some fresh eggs for my baked goods, breakfasts, and my fresh pasta noodle making. Especially when it comes to making my fresh pasta noodles from scratch I want the freshest eggs possible. Well, you don't need to drive to the farms. Their tent is available at some of the farmers markets around the county. If you see their tent, don't pass them up! Well worth $8. Some of the other food vendors at the farmers markets use their eggs as well. I had a "breakfast bowl" and they were frying up fresh eggs from Three Sons Farm. The taste of fresh eggs... I can't find the right words that deserve their compliments. Has a fresh and clean taste to them. The yolk doesn't have a harsh "yolks-ness" taste, it's lighter and creamier - if that makes sense?! The difference is in the yolk. I will take creamier over store bought any day. Ex: I make my own fresh pasta noodles from scratch. That alone, the noodles are already fresh and silky. With fresh eggs... "!!!!!" JABA APPROVED. Until the next review....
