If you're looking for a fast casual lunch in this area, this is about as good as it gets, because this area has slim pickings when it comes to decent, inexpensive fast casual dining. First of all, it's super clean, very affordable, the pizzas, breadsticks and calzones are pretty decent and a step above fast food and the service is quick and friendly and the order is always right. It's a pretty good lunch or dinner bargain if you don't want to spend a lot, or don't want fast food or takeout through the drive through. We often order a vegetarian or cheesey pizza with breadsticks and we've yet to be disappointed. This was my first time here and I was satisfied. I ordered a chicken pride slice of pizza and a cowboy steak grinder. Taking a look at the pizza It resembles Pizza Hut but I loved the dough. It is a great pizza shop because you can customize your pizza however you would like. The grinder is good because you get your moneys worth. The 8" inch cowboy steak was good. I have to hand it to Mancino's -amazingly good pizza for a place located within a slightly tacky strip mall. Yes, I typically despise writing reviews for chain restaurants (I definitely prefer independent eateries, but you can't go indie every day, now can you?), but for a chain (ahem, just a few rungs above fast food) pizza parlor in a shopping center, this is some mighty fine pizza. I almost hate to say this, but I prefer this Manino's pizza to most other places- including Hungry Howie's, Jet's, Little Caesar's and even many "traditional" sit-down pizzerias. It almost galls me to say it, but this pizza is definitely superior to most others out there. I don't know what it is that they're doing, but whatever it is, it's working. I love the crust, it's like no other. Thick, flavorful and with just the right amount of oil- not too dry and not too oily. The pizza is thick, gooey with cheese and baked just right. It's worth its weight in gold. Ooh, the crust- did I mention the crust and how good it is? Yeah, I thought so- just checking. I just love everything about it. I know, I know, it's a chain, but I can't help how I feel about this pizza. My husband and I will head to Mancino's to grab a pizza and bread sticks over many other places any day of the week (and trust me, there is no shortage of pizza places around Flint- fast food varieties or otherwise). It's just that good. The bread sticks are crazy good as well, buttery and expertly seasoned. This is a relatively small location (definitely newer and larger than their old site), but there are tables and booths to sit down and eat. Most of the time, we prefer to dine in. You have to order at the counter, but the lines are never long. The prices are beyond cheap- we never spend very much and usually take some leftovers home. I've never had the stromboli, grinders or any of their regular pasta dishes, but I'm willing to give them a shot if I can force myself to order something other than the pizza. They also sell ice cream, which I've had. The portions are decent-sized for the price and they have plenty of flavors. Unfortunately, they always seem to be closed on Sundays. Don't go here anymore. I've been a 20 year customer of this franchise through various locations, but it has really gone downhill. I've had several orders that were substandard, greasy, and borderline inedible. Prices have also been raised to where we spent $33 for two people and I only got half a sandwich. A small container of pizza sauce is no longer included with the breadsticks, they demand an extra $.37. The price is completely unreasonable for the quality, this type of food should cost no more than $15. read more

I have ordered party boxes from this location for my staff at Christmas for the past 8 years. This year when I called was told that free delivery to businesses now required a $75 order instead of $50. Ok, no problem. I go in to place my order for next week and first I am told that they can't deliver as they only have 3 people scheduled to work that day. So I decide to have someone pick it up. Then as I am ordering my 4 grinders for the party box I am told I can't order one with steak due to the price. I informed them that I have done this every year with a steak sub included and was told due to the rise in the cost of steak they can't do this. I point out that the menu indicates they have raised the price on the steak grinder from $15 and change to $17 and change, then I'm told they have not raised the price of the party box which I bought last year for around $50 and is now $57 and change. So I mention it does not say on the menu we can only deliver if we have more than 3 staff or call for delivery details. Also does not state anywhere on the menu you can choose any grinder except steak for the party box. So I am having to take my business elsewhere. I can accept the price increase but if you are advertising something you should be able to provide the service. Very disappointed in them. I realize staff working are just young girls but if management is making changes perhaps it should be posted on the menu. read more

Mancino's is one of my favorites. Good pizza, and wings but their Grinders are what most come for. A grinder is an oven baked sub. I promise you there's nothing like them anywhere. My favorite is the chicken bacon ranch grinder. Rude employees, generally messed up orders. Last time I was there they gave my to go order to someone else and mine to the other customer. Thankfully I checked it as I always do. Lettuce spilled out when I opened the box. The employee took the box I had and tried to give it to the other customer. We both asked for the orders to be remade and they told us no bc it was only a mixup and no need to remake the orders. I have spoke with the owner and just doesn't seem to really care. Used to be the best--last three times I went they messed up my order. Today I sat right in front of the register waiting for my to go order--for almost 40 minutes...I finally went up and asked and the girl looked all over and finally found it sitting on a rack with pick up orders...cold and nasty. She said "well we called your name".. uh NO you didn't because I was sitting 5 feet from you. It was supposed to be a taco salad--it was disgusting, cold and there were no utinsels in the bag. I tried to eat it and ended up sick from it. Stay away from this place if you are on your lunch hour or if you mind your food being messed up. They should reimburse me for that garbage. read more
