The food is amazing better than a regular sub for sure. The grinders are great. Pizza is great. Carrot cake is awesome.

The sandwiches were great ! Steak and cheese, bread was fresh , crisp plenty of vegetables! We got the whole grinder , great deal for 2 people . Maybe next time , add extra meat ? This place is easily missed as it is small but all of their food is amazing! Everything is fresh and scratch made. I love their tomato bread and steak grinder. The bread isn't a standard bread you can get at a store or most bakeries. And the staff is always friendly and get your food prepared as quickly as possible. I think I remember coming here once about 30 yrs ago but whether or not it was good has escaped me. It's kind of tucked away so it's easy to over look with all the surrounding chains restaurants. I normally grab dinner on the way to grocery shop and am always trying to avoid fast food so I pulled in here. I noticed everyone was picking up Subs. There must have been 20 of them waiting to be picked up so that's what we ordered. The lady asked what size I wanted, I was hungry so I said large. Holy Moley! It was literally enough for 4 hungry people. I ordered the Italian without sausage / mushrooms and with Italian dressing instead of mayo. The tomato on it was the best restaurant tomato I have ever had. It tasted like an heirloom garden tomato. The salami had peppercorns in it, fantastic! I prefer my sub's to be on crusty French baguette type bread but that's hard to come by around here. My favorite place to get a sub are The Original sub shop, and Porkys pizza trough. This place is right up there with them. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu.I also noticed in the cooler they had carrot cake. My favorite! My biggest regret this week is not buying a piece. read more

Food was great, however they should make sure if employees who are off the clock come in, wearing a cropped tank top and pajama pants with their hair down, that they know they shouldn't proceed to go into the kitchen, make their own food, grab drinks from the cooler and take friends' orders while ignoring paying customers.. The food was good, however had I experienced that before I had ordered, I would've gone somewhere else. Ordered cup of chili. Was cold had to send back to get reheated. Even so, chili is very bland and watery. Don't like getting receipt that is not broken down to check for accuracy. If you like Gino's (or Amie's), then you should like Mancino's pizza. After all, all three brands are, or were, owned by Amie. Also know that, if you like Pizza Cat, you'll like Mancino's, as Pizza Cat has been heavily influenced by Gino's. All four brands use the same sweetish pizza sauce; the same sweetish pizza sauce that makes my taste buds happy. My opinion? The best pizza sauce in the city. The cheese here has always been cooked to a golden brown perfection, and the crust is medium thickness and foldable. Like Gino's/Amie's/PizzaCat's, the sauce and cheese extend all the way to the perimeter of the crust...this is nice. The toppings are good, but they don't match up to those of Village Idiot. We stopped here for a quick dinner the place was clean and the staff all had on mask. I ordered the cowboy steak grinder and it was delicious. I've been wanting to try Mancinos for the longest time and it genuinely crushes me to say that I will NEVER SPEND MY MONEY HERE EVER AGAIN. The entire experience was incredibly unprofessional and quite frankly unacceptable. Not only was our pizza RAW, barely cut, and put together like whoever made it was ready to go home, my boyfriend received such poor customer service he felt compelled enough to tell me about the experience at the Holland, Ohio location prior to even opening the box to something so disappointing (which is rare for him). We ordered our pizza at 8:40 pm and were told it'd be ready in 20 minutes, awesome. My boyfriend leaves to go pick up our medium, pepperoni and bacon pizza and cinnamon bread, arriving at 9:05 pm. With two other customers waiting before him, followed by two more customers coming in behind him, he still hadn't received our order....okay, no big deal, were patient. As he stands there waiting, he notices one of the employees accidentally dropping an order of cinnamon bread on the ground, kicking it out of the way, laughing with another employee and then shrugging her shoulders. Okay, probably not something I'd do in front of customers, but whatever. As he continues to wait he hears a, "I can't wait until 10:00," comment made by one of the employees. By 9:15, our order was in my boyfriends hands and he was walking out of the door with questions on whether or not he should've addressed the situation in store. As I opened the box, starving, the first thing I noticed was the large amount of half cooked bacon piled in the middle of the pizza. Okay cool, a lot of meat, we'll just throw it in the oven for a sec.....as I attempt to pull a slice out of the box, I notice none of the pieces were actually cut and the entire pizza had a heavy, wet feeling. After cutting the pizza, as you'll see in the photo, the entire pizza was completely inedible. At this point we felt like we needed to call the store, honestly not wanting anything in return, but more so just to voice how incredibly intolerable the entire situation was. 0/5 stars if it were possible. read more

This is the dirtiest restaurant I have ever eaten a sandwich in the entire United States of America! I would not touch the salt and pepper shakers because they were so filthy. The tables were all dirty and sticky. The soda machine looked like it has never been cleaned. I am certain it has not been taken apart and cleaned at the end of business because nothing has been cleaned! The floors are disgusting. The chicken breasts 16" grinder was dripping in mayonnaise. I wish this chain was in more locations, and I seek it out when I go through certain towns. Pizzas I would ignore and get elsewhere but the grinders are absolutely incredible. The steak grinder, pizza grinder. Many others are very good. The bread is what makes this place, and why I consider these grinders a superior sandwich. First visit was a good one. Place was pretty basic walking in, small dining room and open kitchen so you can see everything being made. They weren't that busy and I was greeted walking in the door. I was able to place my order right away and was on my way out the door in around ten minutes. I ordered the steak grinder. There was plenty of meat on the sandwich and I really liked their bread. French fries are oven baked and not deep fried. They weren't bad, just not what I am used to having. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. I didn't try much but their menu has pizza, pasta, salads, and more than 20 sandwiches so I think there is something for everything. I think their prices are fair and you get a good value for what you pay for. I would most definitely come back and I would recommend this place to friends, families, and groups. read more

So I travel a lot for work and often find myself looking for pizza or good local take out food. Too often I'm stuck with the large delivery chains if in the mood for pizza (blah) so I'm thrilled when I can find something better. And WOW...Mancinos is now a favorite of mine! Pizza was fantastic. Got the Superburger and was best cheeseburger pizza I've tried. Also got the "small" Italian salad. Delicious and NOT small. Couldn't believe it for $6...salad was a meal. We were in town Saturday night and stopped by Mancino's for the first and last time. We ordered pizza and three grinders. Pizza was decent and grinders were a joke I would have been better off wiping my boily ass with the $30. Chicken parm grinder is a disgrace. Pale, rubbery pre cooked "fajita strips" chicken tossed in prego baked on a nasty stale bun. FN GROOOOOOSS!!! The bbq pulled pork needs to be immediately removed from the menu. It is nasty, chewy, big chunks of gross low grade meat swimming in a bulk, disgusting bbq sauce. It even had a bone in it total fn embarrassment worst sandwich ever made. I felt like having my stomach pumped after eating at this nasty place! read more

Love Mancinos, and the girls there are always friendly. But am so disappointed by how much the pizzas seem to have been shrinking. Last couple times I've ordered x-Large pizzas I've noticed they are smaller than they once were. The box says 16in but the pizza itself is 14. I have been going to Mancinos for so many years. It was our family favorite until the merger with Amy's. Not to say that Amy's pizza isn't great. But we always have been huge fans of the BBQ pork and Seafood Grinders and once the merger happened they switched up the recipe. I asked the folks that worked there after coming there 1-2 times a week for years what happened and told them that the grinders were different and they told me that they use different meat and have changed what they used to make them with. Does anyone remember the difference of the grinders from then until now? If you know what I am talking about please comment and let me know if you feel the same way. The BBQ pork sub used to be perfectly cooked and carefully pulled and was perfect and now it is chunks of meat land tastes completely different. And I loved the Seafood sub too it was chopped perfectly and with the right amount of mayo or dressing, but now it is just chunks of imitation crab with lettuce and something is just not right. I have tried every grinder they sell at some point in time and although the newbies at Mancinos like the new menu I am dissapointed in the lack of care and quality that goes into the grinders. Its like they care so much about the pizza that they forgot what made Mancinos famous and so popular. "THE GRINDERS" I think they need to re-think the recipes and really change back to the original way they made them. My opinion: Don't save a few bucks by using a lower grade of meet and change the flavor too. You have taken the best BBQ Pork (and all other) grinders within 100 miles and messed with them too much. Please trust me, get out the old recipes and bring the #1 Mancinos grinders back to life. I hate to say this but our family and two other families used to make Mancinos our family meeting ground but now we have changed where we go. I can't wait to see if anyone feels the same way and most of all I can't wait until Mancinos re-thinks the grinder recipes and trains the employees with the original way they were made so they can once again re-gain the number one best restaurant title in my book. read more

I think I'm done going to Mancino's. I love their pizza grinders, but what I experienced last week changed everything. (1) I called ahead & ordered. Told 5-10 min. I showed up 15 min later & was told another 3-4 min. (2) While waiting the cashier rung out a guy who also wanted cookies. She handled his money then asked if he minded if she used her bare hands to grab his cookies. He didn't even know what to say, & she did it anyway. (3) She proceeded to cash others out. She then went - again bare handed - and checked on my grinder. With her bacteria laden bare hands she cut a sandwich. Yuck! Apparently waiting 2 seconds for her properly gloved coworker wasn't an option. (4) To top it off, liquid was dripping from the ceiling behind cash register 2. They had a trash bag over the register, nothing to catch the fluid & were walking through it. Goodness knows what all it was splattering on. read more

Buyer beware.....two years ago a friend of mine was overcharged at the Holland, Ohio Mancinos on her credit card statement for food purchased by over $30. Now today, I was overcharged. My bill should have only been $7 and when I was handed my receipt I was charged $27. This was at the Holland, Ohio Mancinos. Patrons be very very cautious when paying at this place.
