Pretty good food for a decent price. Price is reasonable and they get you in and out pretty quick.

When I was younger, I enjoyed Chinese buffets and wanted to try them all out. Then I tried quite a few and when I ledt,, I started regretting. So now Chinese buffets is a rare treat for me that I usually regret talking myself into. But Mandarin Hoise was good enough to try at least once. The best part of Mandarin House was the Mongolian grill stir fry you could get made really quickly. I took beef, bell pepper, and onions and had the cook mix in Mongolian sauce with a little garlic sauce and viola! A nd I even had this after I had the traditional Chinese buffet fare of eggrolls, sweet and sour chicken, crab Rangoon, and different types of chicken. Another star point fir Mandarin House was the General Tso's chicken was thick and spicy. Then I had a Bluebell finish with 4 scoops of ice cream! In all, it was $11.49. Good deall all the way around and I would consider going back to the Mandarin Hoise. read more

Went there for dinner and everything was cold and their lo mein noodles were undercooked. Told the woman at the front desk about it and all she said is I'm sorry and you should come later in the day. We paid $54 for cold, undercooked food. We told her we wouldn't be back and all she could say is I'm sorry and didn't really act like she cared if we came back or not. ​We shouldn't have to come later in the day to get hot food. This place was actually pretty good for a Chinese Buffet. Rice is always bland like every other buffet. Egg rolls are always veggie filled like the others. There was a large selection of meats which was pretty good. Sushi was actually really tasteful. Hibachi had some good meat choices, sauces were the same as anywhere else. The sweet and sour soup was a bit different, extra sour not enough sweet and big chunks. Egg drop was good! I guess depending on the day and your tastebuds, you may or may not feel the same way when you eat here. read more

I visited this place last week for takeout, I picked up an order of wonton soup, sesame chicken with white rice and chicken and broccoli with vegetable fried rice (lunch specials). Whoever said this was an expansive buffet hasn't traveled much. Kentuckians y'all are missing out on good Chinese food. Waitress filled my cup once and seemed miffed when I tipped her 3.50 on a $10.00 bill. That was well over 20% sweetheart! The food wasn't even average. The food is worth three or four stars on a good day, it's never consistent though. I wouldn't go out of my way to have their sushi. What motivated me to write a review after dinning in for the first time in probably two years was a terrible customer service the waitress was RUDE! You had to stare her down to get her to refill your glass and the last time we asked for refills on all four glasses. She only filled up one glass! Are we suppose to share???!! NO TIP!! Next time if there is a next time we will get carry out only. They shouldn't be so rude when there's plenty of other options just over the bridge. read more

My son, boyfriend and I eat here at least once a month. Tonight, my son found parts of a Brillo pad in his rice lo mein. They apologized. However, they did not make it right. We were only offered to trade his adult buffet in for a kids price. Who does that? Any other restaurant would have taken the entire cost of the meal off the ticket. You know they throw away more food each night than it would have been to deduct that buffet to keep a customer coming back. read more

I was just here and I witnessed a customer allowing her child to take her finders and pick food out of the buffet and use a serving spoon to take a bite of rice at the bar I informed her what her child is doing she didn't care unformed management they didn't care so I left and I went ahead and charge me full price they wouldn't even not nothing off or give it to me I have one plate of food I will never return to this awful place again read more

I eat here every once in a while. It's not too bad, food wise. It's pretty much the standard buffet with a Mongolian Bar. It has a pretty good selection, but they can be very inconsistent and expensive which is why I give it two stars mostly. It's worth a try every once in a while though. read more

My family and I have eaten there many times and really enjoy the buffet. However, the past two times we have eaten there the server called to my attention that I did not leave a tip when I signed the credit card slip. I generally leave a cash tip separate from the card. But now two different servers, a woman on 12/20/2017 and a man on 01/17/2018 both pointed out to me that I didn't leave a tip on my card! So if you go there, be prepared for great food, but also be prepared to be asked for a tip if you don't leave one on your card. Apparently these servers are not trained in courtesy. We have decided not to return, and as Henderson residents we formerly ate there once or twice a month. read more

As far as Americanized Chinese food goes, I guess this is the best within about a 30 minute drive, but that really isn't saying much. Get there too early and options are slim, too late and all the unsupervised kids have put their grubby little hands in the Lo Mein noodles. They do have Mountain Dew, so that's a plus. read more

I found the buffet to be about the most expansive one I have seen in quite awhile! The choices for the Mongolian Bar were really awesome, and the chef was very personable.Our waitress was very nice and even taught my son some Chinese! Frog legs, OMG so delicious and hot! If your into suchi there are about a dozen different varieties to choose from. The only thing that I did not care for was what they called the "Special House Chicken" it was kind of tasteless,cold and hard to chew, other than that I will return soon I hope! read more

i love this place so much, i come here very often, if i had a choice to pick where we would go eat at i'd say mandarin house because this place has the best chinese food. the crab rangoon is the best thing there i think. the fried rice is really good too i always get it. the chicken is really tasty, the egg rolls with their sweet and sour sauce is so good. the employees are really nice and always refill your cup as soon as you ask. i have one thing to say that's bad but it's not the restaurants fault but every time i go there, there's always a screaming kid and a mom who doesn't care it's so annoying i wish they would kick them out when that happens, other then that i would recommend to go there next time you have a craving for chinese food. read more
