Was craving some Chinese takeout, very simple, nothing fancy, but still hits the spot. AND I FOUND IT. I had my food delivered and it arrived super fast, and it tasted soooo fresh! This is my new go-to spot for those cravings, definitely recommend

First off based on appearances, I don't think I would *eat in* at this restaurant but most people go to Chinese for takeout anyways! It's a little run down shopping center but the food absolutely is amazing. So. Freaking. Good. I believe everything is made to order. I placed an order through Yelp's Eat24 for takeout and after they confirmed the order the estimated pickup time was 10 minutes. I went to 7-Eleven and then Mandarin House and my order was already ready! Hefty generous portions for $10. Medium Orange Chicken and $2 extra for chow mein and it was even in its own box! Piping hot and fresh. Delicious. Make sure to grab a takeout menu on your way out for a coupon code off of a sushi roll!

WOW. All I can say is wow. I ordered delivery for Mother's Day. This was a first time for us. Ordered 3 lunch specials , a fried rice, a chicken chow mein and a wonton soup with shrimp and chicken. The portions were very generous, the food was very fresh and delicious. They even gave us a container with free dessert. The delivery guy came before expected time. I am very impressed and will definitely keep coming back. Thank you so much for making this day special.

Really bummed by the delivery time. They used to be very fast and reliable, food was good, especially on the nights I didn't feel like cooking. It has taken 2 hours to deliver our order the last couple times I've ordered. Sadly we will need to start going elsewhere. 2 hours is just way too long. read more

Went in for takeout tonight, first time here. Pregnancy cravings were in full effect for some hot and sour soup. We decided on szechuan beef and general tao's chicken. And didnt forget the soup. Everything seems made to order, our whole meal was. I loved how everything tasted super fresh, that's so hard to find in Chinese take out spots. Felt good knowing this food was fresh and safe for me to eat. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend. read more

I have been ordering from this restaurant for four years and have never been disappointed. Usually they send something free with my order. Now they've gotten even easier for delivery with EAT24 or GrubHub. My favorite ALWAYS order is Sao Mai. I always ask for extra egg in either my rice dish or noodle dish (which one I'm in the mood for). I love their Poke Nachos, full of flavor as is their broccoli beef (plenty of meat and crunchy veggies!). The only thing I wish they did was Boba Tea and then they would be perfect!! I have tried nearly everything on their menu and will always keep ordering either by phone or online. Their services are friendly and accommodating. :) read more

I ordered delivery because it always arrives on time and in less than an hour. The food arrived warm and the service is always friendly. That's where my good review ends. I found a dead roach in my white rice. All the other positives about this place don't matter if it's not clean. I will no longer be eating food from Mandarin House. read more

Party of five ordered delivery from this place for the first time. Would have given them 3.5 stars if we could. Best main dishes - combination low mein, pork low mein, and Mongolian beef. With Mongolian beef being the leader of these three Best appetizer - crab wontons hands down delicious Worst dish - Salt and pepper chicken. Wwaayyy to salty. Other dishes we ordered that were average, but still worth ordering again are: Steamed dumplings, potstickers, szechuan beef, and steamed combination. read more

I've eaten here once before and thought it was good. We came back tonight, and although the prices were higher than I remember we decided to order anyways. For appetizers we got 2 dry and hard bbq pork buns for $7. For another $7 we got 10 miniature shu mai that tastes spoiled. We also got steamed dumplings that were bland. For the main courses we got overcooked and mushy combination chow mein, bbq mu shu was soggy, oily and no texture, and finally the salt and pepper fish which I thought was the best, but that doesn't say much because after the first bite I had to ask if it was cooked or not. For the price, I say there are much better Chinese places to eat at. read more

Just tried this restaurant for the first time and I now have a new favorite Chinese food joint! Portions are gigantic, and the food is delicious. I had Chicken Lo Mein and Orange chicken and both were incredible. In fact, the Lo Mein was the best I've ever had. I ordered for delivery and the estimate was 45-60 minutes and my food was at my door in 30. ---- UPDATE: deducting a star because for some insane reason they've decided to stop delivering to my area (ONTARIO, same as them!), what the heck??? read more

Awesome food! The sweet and sour pork is my favorite! The lomaine noodles are good, the rice and kungpow is a favorite as well! I fed 4 more with a $20 order. The delivery system on this app is so cool. Both times I had food delivered I was quoted an eta of 1 hour, my order was at my door in about 25 mins and the food was pallet melting kinda hot read more

Beware ordering online. I placed an order online received my confirmation and showed up to the restaurant. The lady stated they never received my order I showed her my confirmation email as well of the charge to my account. She continued to say that I couldn't get my food because I didn't pay for it, regardless of having all the proof. She started accusing saying that I just wanted free food. Which I didn't want food I just needed them to refund me the money back to my account. They ended up charging my account and I have opened a fraud claim against them. Very bad customer service. Will never order again and once again beware if ordering online. read more

New to Upland and decided to try this place out for delivery. The young lady who took our order over the phone was clueless, obviously needed more training, wasnt helpful at all in suggesting popular menu items etc. She made the call difficult and turned it into a ten min. phone call. We wanted to order sushi rolls and she kept asking what order number the rolls were and THIS IS THE FIRST TIME TRYING THIS PLACE OBVIOUSLY I DONT KNOW THE MENU NUMBER ESPECIALLY IF I JUST CAME ACROSS YOU ON YELP. it was very frustrating. Long story short we ordered 3 different rolls. Literally nothing special that stood out to me. California rolls tasted like 711 sushi salmon and cucumber were good but the "crunchy rolls" werent even crunchy rolls. Didnt have any type of drizzle. I dont know if they messed up our order. So good! I have been living in the area for a little over a year and a half and finally found good Chinese food. We placed the order online. My husband said it was ready when he got there. We had orange chicken, Kung pao chicken and a spicy beef I don't remember what it was called. Everything was soooo good. They came with white rice had to pay 2 dollars extra for chow mein, I didn't like that originally but it was a good portion. Will definitely be back. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I couldn't choose fried rice and the portions were smaller than what I'm used to. Really they could give you more white rice. read more

The food was ok, my chow mein didn't taste fresh, it kinda tasted like it had been out for a while. Everything else tasted pretty good though, and the ladies working there were nice. The lunch meal was a decent amount of food for the price. (I could not finish it) The soup that came with it was tasty. Overall, it was a decent experience, I might go there in the future, hopefully chow mein is better. read more

We were seated right by the entrance, so there is no chance she somehow forgot we were there. After finishing our meal, we sat waiting for an unreasonable amount of time while continuing to be ignored. Eventually, we had to get up and ask for our check ourselves because apparently that was too much to expect. At that point, it was obvious that nobody working there cared whether we had a good experience or not. I've worked in customer service and understand that places get busy, but this wasn't a matter of being busy, it was a matter of not caring. We were treated as if we didn't exist. If this is the standard of service this restaurant accepts, there are plenty of other places that deserve your money far more than this one. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this place to anyone expecting even the bare minimum level of customer service. Tacos were good, ill give them that.

Bec. for us, the best Chinese food was in San Diego & no one can beat their Salt N' Pepper Chicken wings.
