I relocated about 45 minutes away, but whenever I'm in the area, I make it a point to stop by. The sushi is always fresh, delicious, and worth the drive. This place remains one of my favorites!

Such a hidden gem. Door was covered so I wasn't sure the business is open. It was just to block the heavy afternoon sunset. Greeted by an older lady, very friendly. We were seated right away. She served us water quickly. We ordered bulgogi beef $14.95 (comes with a bowl of miso soup) and udon yaki beef $13.95. Both are super delicious. A quiet place but apparently people do know the place and always shoot 3-4 tables of customers. I would come here again to try different things. Great service.

The food was good but not in an authentic sushi standard. It fills my belly but doesn't really satisfy my Japanese food craving. If you're standard is high, it's not the place for you. If you are on a budget and you care less if it's authentic or not, this is the place to go. Everything is reasonably priced, especially the bento box. I'll probably come back for the bentos instead. The service award good and the ambiance is clean. Although I was a bit confused with the decore. They had soju posters on th wall, Chinese lanterns, samurais and fall decorations. So when you visit lower your standards. They still deserve a 3 as it is hard to run a restaurant. I will surely be back for bento instead.

VENUE/INTERIOR: quiet, no-frills but decent sushi restaurant tucked in a shopping plaza near the Superior Market in Chino. From the outside, couldn't tell if the business was open due to dark tinted windows. Ambiance is chill, decor simple. Several dining patrons inside and that's a good sign. STAFF: friendly FOOD: Ordered to-go BAKED SALMON ROLL - with crabmeat & avocado inside and topped with salmon. The salmon portions were uneven & cookie-cutter small compared to other sushi restaurants I've been to. 3/5 SHRIMP LOVER ROLL - with shrimp tempura, crabmeat & avocado inside and topped with shrimp. Some of the avocado bits were brown & didn't look appetizing so hubby had to take that part out. 3/5 Loved the spicy sauce!

Great place to pick up good sushi & ramen/udon. Stopped here to pick up quick dinner after long softball tournament day at Big League Dreams. Menu is expansive - something for everyone - with a fun special roll selection & plenty of teriyaki grill & noodles for those weird non-sushi folk we all have to deal with sometimes. Ordered online - simple & easy. Like that they had photos of the menus attached so you can see what you're getting. I added new photos w/ updates. Staff were super pleasant & quick with our order even when we added an additional dish. Online order ready in less than 10min. Add-on ramen in less than 8min. Perfect when all we wanted was good food quick & to head to our hotel asap. To go bag had everything we needed, plenty of napkins & soy packets. All the dishes were packed nearly & securely- looked great when opened up. Got the sashimi special w/ special roll. One Hawaiian & one of the burritos ($25) & a miso ramen. All was super delish - fresh & light & TASTY. salad was crisp, miso soup was hot & delish. We were well fed & very satisfied after a long hard day softballn '. Definitely will stop here again. Maybe even eat in - the dining room was pleasant & clean too.

This place is the spot for great quality sushi. All the rolls were very fresh and made with intent. Our server was this super nice lady.

Food was amazing at good price point. Service was amazing very attentive. And it was a quiet night for them so it was very nice

Bento Box Combination (3 Pcs): Teriyaki Salmon, Teriyaki Chicken and Tempura Vegetables

My family orders from here from time to time and love their sushi. Miso Sushi & Grill is located on Central & Walnut; at the shopping center where Superior Market is located. There is plenty of parking available in my personal opinion. When we arrived, we were greeted and took us to our table. I looked at the menu and ordered: Bento Combination Dinner (Any 3 Items). Served with miso soup, salad and 4 pieces of California Roll. For the 3 items, I ordered it with Teriyaki Salmon, Chicken Teriyaki and Tempura Vegetables. When I received my order, the portion size is very generous in my personal opinion for the combination plate. The salmon and the chicken were fresh, as well as the overall combination dinner plate, the flavor was good. My overall experience was great and for the value you get, especially for the combination plate; you get Miso Soup and Salad, it is worth considering to get. In my personal opinion, I would recommend Miso Sushi & Grill if you are in the Chino area and looking for some good sushi. Next time we order, we want to try their other Items on the menu.

Highly recommend. Super sweet waiters and cooks. When you walk in, everyone greets you. The ambiance is very chill, very quiet. The food was absolute delicious. The rolls were big and definitely worth your money. Go check them out! I'll be back!

This place is great! It wasn't busy for Thursday lunch and we sat down right away. You can see the cooks behind the sushi bar making the rolls which is ALWAYS a good sign to me. The ambiance was interesting: you would think it would be loud but we were able to have conversations without feeling like others could hear us and vice versa. My group all got sushi, while two of us got meals. The chicken cutlet was good but the sauce with it is served cold. The chicken teriyaki made my heart SING! The chicken was so tender it melted in your mouth.

We got the baked lobster roll, spicy tuna roll, and the chicken teriyaki roll and all were amazing. The staff are friendly and the service is quick. They have great music playing and it's a good vibe.

We came for lunch on a Saturday, and the restaurant had plenty of seating. Baked lobster roll: It had way too much pepper. We had to keep drinking water. Crunch roll and spider roll: there was a lot of crabmeat, so they tasted like California rolls because there was so little crab and shrimp tempura that the flavors were muted. Bento with teriyaki salmon, teriyaki chicken, and chicken katsu: the teriyaki sauce was nice and not too sweet. However, the chicken and salmon were dry. I liked that the rolls were a good size and wasn't all rice. However, they all had so much crabmeat that i thought it all tasted like California rolls, except the extra peppery lobster rolls. Service was quick and friendly though.

Can a party of 10 be accommodated here? And are there any specials/drink specials for birthdays?

Party of 10 can easily be accommodated. They have tables that can be pushed together. I don't know about specials though.

Is this place owned by the old owners of Sho-boo (ShoGun Kitchen) in Chino Hills? The menu is exactly the same from years ago....?

I have no idea. We went there again on Saturday and it was delicious once again. They have fresh wasabi which you can't get everywhere. Eric was our sushi chef. He made us a couple special dishes that weren't in the menu. 😋

Do they have all you can eat?

No, but these are serious rolls, we watched a couple order 4 rolls thinking they were getting AYCE style rolls and they had to pack up a lot of food to go.

    Where are the burgers?

They have them on a separate special menu. Which also offers Korean fries.

    Do they offer ayce?

    No they do not.

But the restaurant is spacious, and the host did a great job organizing the waiting list. Even though it was busy, we did not have to wait as long as we expected. One thing that changed from our visit about two months ago was the new tablet ordering system at each table. You can place your order directly through the tablet, and the servers bring the food to your table. I actually thought it was fun and convenient. It made it easier to order different menu items without feeling rushed or having to keep calling the server. we were able to try many different items, and all the salmon dishes we ordered were fresh and delicious. Since it was Father's Day, they were also offering free beer, which was a nice surprise. After that, our group ended up ordering about five more beers and enjoyed the meal even more. Even though the restaurant was packed, I honestly think it would have felt strange if a place like this was empty on Father's Day. The busy atmosphere actually gave the restaurant a lively holiday vibe. I have visited Sake2Me many times, but I stall do not think I have tried everything on the menu. I am usually the type of person who orders the same favorite items wherever I go, but this time my father really enjoyed the experience, so I wanted to leave this review. Everyone may feel differently, but for me, the Father's day vibe at Sake2Me was great. I recommend visiting more than once. Once you come back a few times, you will understand what makes this place different.!!

This was one of the most disgusting and humiliating restaurant experiences I have ever had…read more My friend and I were charged an $8 leftover fee because the seaweed in several hand rolls was so tough that it was difficult to chew. We ate the fillings and rice but left some of the seaweed. When we explained this, the server(name Saaid) told us that if we took the discarded food back and ate it, the charge would be removed. The situation became even worse when a male manager without badge (don't know name maybe Sean) came to our table. Instead of professionally addressing the issue, he put his bare hand into a plate containing discarded food and table waste, moved the food around, and repeatedly questioned why we couldn't eat it. We were essentially told that if we ate food that had already been thrown away, we would not be charged the leftover fee. Let that sink in. A manager was handling food waste with his bare hands while pressuring customers to eat discarded food. The issue was never about the $8. It was about being treated with disrespect and being placed in an unsanitary and humiliating situation. We felt singled out because other nearby tables appeared to have leftovers, yet we did not observe staff inspecting or charging those tables. The situation became so unreasonable that we called 911. After speaking with us, the responding officer advised us to pay the bill and pursue complaints through Yelp, Google reviews, and the appropriate food safety and consumer complaint channels afterward. After paying, we asked for the names of the employees involved. Staff refused to provide the manager's name and became hostile. I have visited this restaurant several times before, but after this experience I will never return. Customers deserve better treatment than being pressured to eat food from a garbage plate.

The service was fairly lackluster and felt mostly absent; we waited quite a while for attention, and the overall pace was very slow. It's the kind of place where you have to be proactive if you need a refill or the check. Additionally, the cleanliness of the restaurant is a major concern. Everything felt "sticky" from the tables to the floors and the bathrooms were definitely not well-maintained. It's hard to fully enjoy a premium-priced meal when the environment feels a bit neglected. On a brighter note, the location is very convenient. Since it's tucked into a large strip mall, parking is incredibly easy and stress-free, which isn't always the case in Chino Hills. If you are a "food first" person who doesn't mind a bit of grit and slow service, the ramen is worth a try, but the management could definitely step up the cleaning
