Food: love the steamed dumplings and the mushu pork! I tried the beef lo mein before and thought it was just ok--I felt like it needed something but couldn't pin point what it was. The Mongolian beef was also ok, but again I felt like it needed something. The menu offers a wide variety of food choices. Service: friendly--no complaints. Food came out in a timely manner. I like that their food is made to order. The first time I came here I thought it was one of those fast food Chinese restaurants with the ready made dishes in food warmers. Facility: a few tables available for dine in. Ambience is outdated but I didn't mind it considering I came in for a quick bite anyway. Ordered delivery through the Yelp app last night for my hubby and 4 sons. We all loved it! PLUS: all the entrees come with steam rice which is awesome in my opinion. So you do get some bang for your buck. Also they include soy sauce, chilli sauce, fortune cookies, MAKE SURE TO WRITE IN THAT YOU NEED UTENSILS IF YOU WANT THEM because they were not included but we ate at home so that was no problem for us. There is a $3 fee for delivery but hey that is not bad if you want to stay at home in your undies. Everything came very well packaged. We got: Combination Fried Rice: Was good, nothing to blow your socks off but good. Combination Mushu: First time we try this so we don't have anything to compare to but it was really good specially if you like bean sprouts. General Tso Chicken: My hubby said it was good, I didn't try it. Broccoli Beef:Was good with a nice beef to broccoli ratio. Orange Chicken:Good, not overly battered and still had a crisp to it. Chicken and green beans:Good flavor and the green beans were not overcooked. Crispy creme cheese wontons: love these, they were yummy. Miso soup: Really tasty. Make sure to select the size you want otherwise you get a small one which was okay for me since it was the first time trying this place out. I loooooove this place, I hate going out to eat (for a sushi lover that's difficult). The first time I ordered here I didn't even know they had sushi, but a Chinese menu was left in my mail box so I had to try it, especially when I saw they delivered. Well my boyfriend and I are horrible at making up our minds so we tried a little of everything (Hawaiian delight and calamari comes highly recommended) but by the time we already ordered we realized we didn't get egg rolls :( They delivery guy showed up (was very polite) and we unwrapped our food to find they'd given us a free order of egg rolls with our feast!! I really want to like this place since it's reasonably close to our work. With only 30 minutes for lunch, it really limit our dining options. This is why I usually bring my lunch to work. But anyways, this place is located in a strip mall next to the Subway and KFC. They have lunch specials that come with Fried Wonton and soup at around $7. The food is edible but not very good. I was especially upset when I tried their dumplings ($6.99) one time when I was sick of the lunch specials. The image on the menu shows handmade dumplings with chewy fresh dough skin. The dumplings I actually got were store bought and they had the nerve to charge $6.99. You can get a whole bag from the store frozen for $4. This REALLY made me mad. read more

My husband can't stop talking about this place and it's been weeks. We ordered over the phone and it was ready when we got there. When we go back, I will have to remember what we ordered and get back to you all. I do remember loving the kung pao chicken, the crispy walnut shrimp could have been a bit better. It was very bready. I order from this place pretty much every day. If they're not busy it usually takes 30 minutes so try to order around 11am or before 4pm. These are my favorites: 1) Crispy Walnut Shrimp - the best! 2) Salt & Pepper Fish or Shrimp - I usually get extra jalapenos 3) Crab wontons Their meat dishes are good as well. Overall this place is so convenient if you don't like to cook. The reason I order from them so much is because we aren't able to use our kitchen at the moment since we're in the process of selling our home and we don't wanna have to get it professionally cleaned again. read more

Weird Experience ... I got here at 9:20pm and ordered food and went to pay with a credit card showed them my ID my passport and the fry cook without even seeing my ID starts apologizing saying "is no my restaurant I so sorry u have to have a driver license to by food my boss rules so sorry" then he said my name doesn't match my credit card! I had to point that out as well he after all this said "OK I do it" all this and $30.00 for C class Chineese. The MSG must have caused the fry cook paranoia. Service is always quick and they're very polite plus the free delivery on orders of 15$+ is always awesome. This review is based on delivery/take-out only. For those of you who have never experienced NYC style Chinese food, I will try my hardest to explain. It is greasy, non-authentic goodness that is ridiculously hard to find here in SoCal (or anywhere else in the country, for that matter). My fiance, a Jersey boy who recently relocated with me to the inland empire loves NYC Chinese food soooo much, he has asked his friends back home to ship him some - like a straight addict. Since moving to the empire, we have been on a search for any place that remotely resembles the Chinese food back home. Mandarin House is the only place that has come close and THANK YOU SO MUCH MANDARIN HOUSE because otherwise I'd have a super sad, crying all the time, fiance on my hands. This place is pretty good. We mostly order the typical fare (general tsos, sesame chicken, orange chicken, etc..) and it's really good. The servings are ample but you want to know the best part? They give you an option to get a side of chow mein instead of rice. YES! POINT FOR MANDARIN HOUSE! This is huge for me because I really cannot stand the fried rice in SoCal, so I love that I can get the noodles instead for an extra couple bucks. And oh my, do they give you noodles. So many noodles! I can never finish my food in one sitting ever. My fiance, however, will finish his and mine. The egg rolls are very typical of egg rolls anywhere but New York/NJ (where they're the size of a small burrito), so nothing crazy there. Their sliced pork is delicious as well. Their prices are reasonable and I love that you can order directly from yelp. Delivery has always been within a reasonable time, even on the weekends. No complaints whatsoever from us. This place would've definitely gotten five stars had it been located in a different area. The area is a tad bit sketch, but not the worst. The staff was polite, nice, patient and answered any questions we had. The food itself was above average, fresh ingredients, made to order, and well seasoned.
