surpringly it was pretty good, we didnt think we will find a decent Asian buffet in the area. Big parking lot and huge space inside. It was very neat. The food was good. Soda isnt included in the ayce. We enjoyed the food. And food consistently got replenished. They have a good variety of food to dessert and more. Good customer service from the workers as well. Will definitely go back again if we are in the area.

Warm washcloth to clean your hands. You get one at the beginning and end of meal.

I love the Mandarin! It's still my favorite Chinese buffet and perhaps my favorite buffet overall. There are always so many fresh, exciting options that I have to cruise through and rank the foods from "must haves" to "like to have", so I don't run out of room before I at least get the musts! The service is always friendly. The buffet is always clean and organized and I have never seen an empty spot... The staff is definitely on top of making sure items get replenished. On this visit, some of the items I had were Yorkshire pudding, prime rib, sushi, garlic shrimp, beef and broccoli, general tsaos chicken, torpedo shrimp, frozen yogurt with fresh fruit and chocolate covered strawberries. There really is something for everyone! I will definitely be back and cannot wait!

Great Chinese buffet. We came here of the day before Mother's Day so it was kind of busy but they got us in after about 30 minutes. This place is huge. It has everything you can expect from a buffet. Ribs, prime rib steak chicken sushi, fried fish salmon noodles vegetables salad with every topping you can imagine. Four types of soups and lots and lots of desserts and ice cream. Get there early or make an reservation. Huge parking lot. It took us a minute to find it but keep going around you'll see a sign that directs you to the back end of the plaza. I think the mail runs between $35 and $40 Canada. Our server YAN That's so nice and gave us tips on all the best foods to try on the buffet. The place looked clean and well organized. Right when you walk out they give you free cotton candy for the kids.

Mandarin restaurant is the best bang for your buck in the area. It's a top notch Chinese Buffet style restaurant. If you come at lunch, during the week it's $26, on Sat & Sun it's $30. For dinner, it's $36, and on Sat & Sun it's $40. That's not bad when compared to just about every restaurant in the Niagara area, where you will pay $30 for one meal and a drink. No joke, a soft serve vanilla ice cream on a plane waffle cone is almost $10 USD. Mandarin restaurant reminds me of how our Chinese restaurant by the Super Walmart in Sanford FL, used to be, but WAY better. Upon entry you will find two koi fish ponds with a small waterfall near the hostess station, to the right, staff serve cotton candy for the kids as a Togo treat. When it's not as busy a robot hostess will greet you and bring you to your table, so cool! There is also a full bar to the right where your server can pick up and deliver pretty much any drink you can conjur. Their specialty drinks and mocktails don't cost an arm and a leg either. It was packed here tonight, It was the day before mother's day so it was kind of crazy, so kudos to the team for getting us in at our promised time of 30 minutes even though there were a ton of reservations. So yes, I highly recommend getting a reservation because large groups were just bypassing us while we waited around. Once seated we were greeted by our server with sealed warm towels smelling of eucalyptus, how fanc!. From there it was game on to how much we can get in our bellies for the money. My favorites for the evening was the grilled pork sausage with cheese, the spare ribs, honey ribs, Kung Pao chicken, General Tao's chicken, sauteed broccoli, prime rib, the variety seafood options such as peel and eat shrimp, grilled shrimp raw oysters, sashimi & sushi varieties, several of their soups, and the extensive selection of desserts. They have cakes , pies, tarts, custards, jello, a bunch of ice cream, and so much more. I ate at least four plates of food then went back for soup, then again to sample some other things I missed, plus a full plate of desserts, and finally a bowl of ice cream. Way too much food in one sitting but it's hard to push away from the table when there is so much variety. I think the only thing this restaurant doesn't have that our buffet in Sanford does is the Hibachi Grill where you select the ingredients and the chef cooks it to order. As we were finishing our meal our server returned with fresh warm hand towels again, which is a cherry on top of this awesome experience. I have to say the staff here are amazing they keep this place very clean even during the busiest part of the dinner rush. All of the staff that came to pick up our plates and fill our drinks made us feel welçome. If my wife were to ask me where I want to go for my last dinner in this city it would be Mandarin Restaurant, 5-stars!

Oh! Mandarin! I finally had the opportunity to visit your location in Niagara Falls, Ontario. This was my first time at this Chinese buffet franchise and I wished I had known some practical tips beforehand. The dinner starts at 4:00, but lunch is served only until 3:00. There isn't a smooth transition between lunch and dinner, and I didn't know this before planning my day. We were informed that we still can enjoy our stay even until 3:45, but the buffet is closed strictly at 3:00. Later I learned that desserts and ice creams are still available after 3:00, if there is anything left of course;). An hour to eat a nice meal and be a good Yelper at the same time wasn't enough. Moreover, many serving dishes were empty long before closing. At one point, I was wandering around and couldn't find anything desirable left. The super nice and friendly manager saw me and offered to cook anything I was looking for :). That was nice of him, but it doesn't work that way, at least for me. The buffet area is much smaller than I expected. Overall, the food I tried was pretty decent. I liked the flavors and nothing was too salty. Mandarin also celebrated the Moon Festival by sharing special and unique dishes. It was a treat to try all the special dishes marked as being specially prepared for the festival time. I had hoped that there would be more seafood or things like dim sum etc. I couldn't even find my favorite sesame balls, but I tried the mooncakes instead. The selection of desserts was very impressive, but I don't eat sweets in general. The Moon Festival ginger ice cream was good. Now I know that I should have changed my plans and come back later for dinner. My lunch experience was too rushed and incomplete. This place is really nicely furnished and decorated, perfect for a relaxing meal. An interesting focal point was the cherry blossom tree in the middle of the dining room. I also liked the wall-to-wall carpet. Nice colors and design.

My lunch - mostly Chinese dishes and a super salad with all the works, plus a white sangria cocktail

Not a fan of buffet restaurants. But I must admit, this was really good in terms of food, service and ambiance. Wow! Many choices. Delicious Chinese cuisine. Some thing for everybody. They keep bringing out the food so you know it's fresh. Otherwise, I would not be interested in a buffet. You could enjoy a roasted turkey dinner with all the sides for a three day period. It was the Canadian Thanksgiving special over this long weekend. (Which is the same weekend as the American Columbus Day/Indigenous People weekend). Mandarin does this only for the holiday time. The butternut squash soup was creamy and delicious. I enjoyed the Chinese cuisine, prepared nicely. The ginger beef and salmon teriyaki stand out. Vegetable fried rice was really good. The salad bar, with all kinds of toppings, was also a hit. The mango chicken, mussels, mushroom salad were notable. I'm not big on desserts, but if you are, you will enjoy the offerings. All kinds of cakes, pastries, ice cream, even flan. Cheery atmosphere. Clean. Group of friends and I were across the border in Ontario for the Canadian Thanksgiving festival and shopping. We finished our two day outing with lunch at Mandarin before heading home. Only a couple of miles from the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. Great if you're a tourist and only want to spend money on one meal - it will leave you full and satisfied! Free and plenty of parking. The buffet price is not posted on their website. Perhaps because the price changes according to supply and demand?? This would be some thing I would like to see. Since it was a holiday weekend in Canada, I believe our prices were a little higher than usual. We paid $30 CD for an adult. With the senior discount it was $24 CD. We were told children 12 and under were $15 CD. These were the lunch prices today. And dinner pricing would be higher. Alcohol is a separate charge. We would return for sure.

Mandarin is a favorite in our family. We absolutely love it here. The food is delicious, and there are so many options to suit our family. The service is amazing, especially Parker. He was very kind and helpful to us today. The environment is very calm and welcoming. We will be back soon!

This place took a standard buffet to another level. The ambiance was beautiful. The lighting and decorative style in the restaurant made it feel upscale but comfortable. The buffet had a large selection. The cuts of meat and ingredients were definitely not your standard buffet. They were elevated. The food overall was delicious and I would happily pay to eat here again. The service was outstanding. They were super attentive and the owner made his way around to tables engaging in conversations with guests. It was a great experience.

I'd call this a little below decent and terrible variety. The buffet has less choices than a hotel breakfast. There was one small table and both sides has the same thing. There were pancakes, waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, chicken nuggets, some type of cake thing I didn't eat, plain yogurt, jello, rice pudding and toast. Again it was ok. I had the waffle and French toast. Soggy. The sausage was not very good. Bacon, have to find the good pieces. Same with the eggs. Toast was strange rice pudding was good as well as the little Greek bun things. All in all would probably not return. If the dinner was cheaper maybe try that but if it's anything like the breakfast quality I would say not worth $26 and not cheaper than other options around. Service was friendly though.

My dining companion had the surf and turf while I had the steak, and both were surprisingly good. We were expecting poor quality, overpriced fare--you know, the usual tourist trap stuff, but were pleasantly surprised by how good it actually was. Portions were not excessively huge but weren't quite tapas-sized either they were essentially just right. Warm bread and butter was brought before our meal, and we filled up on this. Our server kept it coming, and I was happy for that since it was delicious. The views were unbeatable. The restaurant slowly rotates as you eat, so your view constantly changes it's an unbelievable experience that I highly recommend. You get to see the falls and the surrounding area from every angle without leaving your table. It's worth taking time to read the plaques along the side, which share interesting facts about the falls and the general area. A little history with your meal never hurts. If you're looking for a more relaxed way to experience Niagara Falls without the chaos, this is a fantastic option. Would absolutely do it again.

It's difficult to enter and exit a high van in a tight skirt and high heels. Just saying. We arrived just in time to see the 8pm floor show, but the music was so loud I was praying for it to end. To order from the menu for AYCE side dishes, you have to have a phone that can scan the QR code: No printed menu was forthcoming, and the print on my cell phone was too small for my husband to read. The music was so loud it made conversation impossible, so I made the choices. The kitchen had already run out of mashed potatoes, and green chimichurri sauce by 8pm, and they seat until 11pm on Saturdays. I was not impressed. There's a chaotic way the servers with the meats circulated. Some tables were served steak three times while we were never served. It's a $90 per person meal where drinks and desserts are extra, our table wobbled horribly, and we couldn't speak to each other. It was the opposite of hospitality. How loud was the music? I'm writing this the next morning and my ears are still ringing. There are many other steakhouses on this side of town: Brasa, Ruth Chris, STK. Next time, I'll try one of them.
