A classic Canadian staple. The food is decent for a buffet but the selection is great!! There's something for everyone and they sometimes do special menus for events like Chinese new year and Canada Day.

Always a fantastic experience! Great flavours and so many different options. Wonderful sushi bar too (I think I heard this was rated the #1 sushi bar in the whole chain of 30+ locations!) Staff is amazing! Jenny, Dyan, Amy, Joe, Penny and so many more discreetly watch and anticipate needs, always with a smile! Kudos to managers James, Miles and Paddy too! Been to many different locations but always come back to this one. We feel this is the best one in the chain! We would give more than 5 stars if we could!

It was my first time being at the famous chain Mandarin Restaurant. To be honest, I'm not a fan of this kind of westernized Asian food, lol. However, having it once a while is okay. Nonetheless, I think Mandarin did a great job! The ingredients were fresh and the flavours were good. I ate many fish and shrimps. The indoor decoration was sort of wierd. If you never tried Asian food before, you can come here to give it a shot in case the authentic Asian food intimidates you

This has got to be the best buffet I've been to so far! They have everything. from 3 different styles muscles, thai mango salad, to a crème brûlée for dessert. They have a sushi bar with sashimi and even some southern food roast beef that they slice in front of you with mashed potatoes. They have flan and curry chicken. and they have my Sons favorite the thick noodles chow main. The service was top notch and the decor of the place was a quirky... We loved it. To finish they gave us warm lavender scented towel to clean our hands at the end!

We love this location. We find the food is fresh, the staff friendly, and the meals are always hot. The variety at mandarin is usually pretty good for a buffet. And we found the staff kept refilling frequently. It was overall a good experience

Was provided a hot lemon infused cloth to clean up prior to going up to the stations to eat. Cup never emptied without an ask for refill. Very attentive the entire time. We were sat in the 'C' dining area area. There were room upon room so there's plenty of seating. Each room with a slightly different theme. Ours had a wall of beautiful fish tanks. The dining area, food stations and bathrooms were all very clean, which is so important at a buffet. They even have gloves at the end of each station in case you didn't want to touch the serving utensils with your bare hands. The variety of food goes from everything you can imagine at a Chinese buffet like sushi and fried rice to American options like burgers and fries, to surprises in-between like New England clam chowder and prime rib. Tons of dessert- hard ice cream, cakes, pies, fruit, jello, even Crème brûlée and waffles. One of my favorite surprises was the variety of mocktails. Most places offer me pop as a mocktail or a Shirley Temple at best. Decent pricing. Father's Day special dinner menu was $50/pp (Canadian) about $36/pp (American) which is pretty great for all you get and that's WITH their high tax. I believe the refular pricing is about $10/pp less. A must try only 30 minutes from Western NY.

It wasn't too busy for dinnertime, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, and everything was well presented. Overall, it was a great experience, just slightly overpriced for what it offers.

We made reservations in case but hardly a line unlike the experience at Dragon legend( had reservations but line up for it was still out the door and around building) It was busy but lots of food at the hot tables being refilled often, beverages refreshed and dishes from our table promptly removed. Service was attentive in the dining rooms and friendly by the hostess station. Lunch had enough items to be happy with, but it seemed like they altered the BBQ/Grill station to breakfast foods, like bacon and fried eggs and had a few empty slots where I remember had items previously. Highs: -Black peppered beef cubes very very tender and flavourful - fried noodles on point - tofu pudding dessert had a gingered sugar syrup to drizzle on top Lows: -peking duck seemed more hard instead of crispy skin - fried egg Left the restaurant very stuffed, kids were happy. Price is $55.99 per adult and for senior (65+), there's 20% off the adult price listed. The buffet price is a bit expensive but reasonable in comparison to other buffets. There is a variety of food to choose from including seafood, meats, noodles and veggie dishes to choose from. There's a Peking Duck section and a "noodle bar" as well. My favourite was the sashimi section and it was regularly refilled whenever I went to get more food. Personally, the highlights of the buffet is the seafood and the herbal soup. They even have lamb skewers in the hot food section! Overall, a good dining experience and service was adequate. The servers came around to pick up plates and check in regularly. Honestly, I don't think I ate my money's worth of food so I don't think this was worth it for me but if you're really hungry, it's a decent buffet. Parking is free outside the restaurant.

When we had first arrived, we were told that it would be a two-hour wait, and that we would need to have a pager with us at all times that would be used to notify us once a table was ready. We weren't able to get a pager immediately as they were all being used therefore, we had to wait at least fifteen minutes before we were able to get one. Once we had that pager in hand, we waited about one hour for our table, which was actually not as long as we had expected. Upon entering the restaurant via an escalator from the first floor, we were pleased to see how picturesque it was. With the large windows showcasing the horse racing at the time, along with the tables that boasted their own private television screens, we were impressed with how wonderful and inviting everything looked. Upon being seated, we were given programs on the betting available for the evening's races, which was detailed with everything we needed to know. We also noticed that there was a middle-aged woman coming around, asking us if we were interested in placing bets during our dining experience. The diners went wild during the races, which created an exciting, yet sometimes, loud atmosphere. In terms of the dining, I was pleasantly surprised with how many options were available. Since it was only $12.95 (with a Winners Circle Card), I was blown away at how much food was placed within the buffet area, with an area dedicated to bread with a variety of spreads, another area with salads and other cold appetizers (such as artichokes, cold cuts, cheese, etc.), a hot table (with such items as lasagna, pizza, chicken, fish, and more), along with a dessert section, which boasted a wide variety of desserts, and a few dishes of fruit. All of the items were well-prepared, and everything tasted fantastic, with each item at the hot table coming onto my plate hot (temperature-wise), which is rare to find in a buffet. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at this buffet, and would highly-recommend it to anyone who wants delicious food, at a low price. The only thing that I didn't like was the waiting period, and how slow it was, considering that many guests usually sit there the entire evening, watching the races and eating for hours on end. Although this is definitely the idea of the trackside buffet, it could have been the reason why we were so delayed in getting to our table. Nevertheless, it was worth the wait, and will definitely be going again!
