Metal shaving found in food.
Mare L.

Food is generally really tasty. My partner had an odd time picking up our food last night. Got an alert that the food was ready and when he got there, it wasn't ready for another 15 or more minutes. Fine. But when I went to eat my vegetables and tofu the next day (today), I found a metal shaving in the dish. Just keep an eye on what you're eating from here.

Sesame chicken, crab ragoon, Lo Mein Noodles, shrimp shumai

My cousin and I were visiting Santa Monica for a week. We ordered from this restaurant 3 DAYS IN A ROW! The food WAS SOO GOOD that we had to come back. The customer service was incredible as well. We were greeted with the upmost kindness! We felt right at home. We ordered the sesame chicken, lo mein, and shrimp shumai, and crab rangoon. & got exactly that everytime. BEST SESAME CHICKEN I EVER HADDDD!

This restaurant is close to our place and has become a go-to when we want inexpensive and quick Chinese. It's not premium quality, but not bad and the price can't be beat.

Mandarin Chinese & Japanese was really nice low key spot on pico. The people inside were really nice and patient and did a good job of recommending some things. It gave off an authentic Chinese restaurant except you can't eat in. The orange crispy shrimp was really awesome the sauce and texture was amazing. It gave off an orange chicken feel but it was shrimp and I enjoyed it a lot. Would definitely recommend. The sweet and sour chicken was good but it definitely could have been seasoned a bit more. The sauce does a good job at carrying the meal itself. The Cream cheese wontons are always great every where they same applies here really solid. /5

I was actually quite impressed by this place. It's a very unassuming place located off of Pico in Santa Monica. It's located near a donut shop and laundromat. If I ever have another craving for Chinese food, this will be my pick! Here's the rundown: Park: ample Service: very friendly and quick Price: slightly cheaper than what I've seen; however, be aware that no entrees come with rice. You have to purchase rice separately but we ordered a large for $1.95 to share Taste: very good! I was also impressed they didn't skimp on the protein! We got a good amount of protein and vegetables! Also nothing was greasy.

I had a very late night craving for some Chinese food and found this family business on Yelp! They were about to close in less than 30 minutes but were super kind to take our order for pick up. Much to our surprise the food was incredibly delicious! I paid for a water which I forgot to grab and this morning no questions asked they told me it was forgotten and I went back to grab it. I ordered the Orange beef, shrimp rice for my friend and a chicken with string beans. Absolutely delicious and so much food! Free parking on the lot.

We are new to the area by way of NYC! My daughter has been missing NYC and so sad we haven't food places that she really likes yet. It's been tough! She dislikes PE and so happy we found this spot! I saw it driving by and thought we could give it a try. It is a take out only place and the service was so friendly. Food was a good salt level and not too oily like most. It took them 10-15 mins to cook up our order. It was tasty and reminded us of that familiar feeling of home (NYC). We ordered: Beef Lomein - we love our noodles! Chicken Fried Rice - perfectly cooked rice and texture was on point Sweet and Sour Pork - this was good and not so salty, came with pineapples, onions and peppers. It comes with the red sweet and sour sauce to pour on your own. Egg Flower Soup (Egg Drop) - this was nice and light not thick/starchy like other take out places. Crispy noodles are our favorite to add. Almond Cookies - have always loved these since I was young. They came as a pack of 10 individually wrapped. Fortune cookies are always a plus! Well, we will be back! Thank you!

Ordered delivery multiple times. Very fast and delicious. Highly recommend the lo mein noodles, eggplant, ma po tofu, walnut shrimp and green beans.

Good and authentic Chinese food around Santa Monica . Food cooked by real Chinese style, not the American Chinese food way.

Their rich chicken ramen was absolutely delicious with tender chicken slices, al dente noodles, a perfectly cooked boiled egg, and thinly sliced radish that added a really fresh taste to the dish. The seasoning provided on the table gave a nice umami kick to the ramen. The place is small but we were able to find seats for 2 on a Friday night at 6:30. There were still tables intermittently available throughout our meal. Service was efficient and nice. The Japanese BBQ chicken topping was grilled on charcoal and had a nice smokey flavor. But as I continued to chew on the chicken it tasted like light fluid. I asked the waitress if is normal and she reassured us is completely fine. But the lighter fluid is so strong that my friend couldn't finish their meal. PSA: grilled meat on charcoal will have a lighter fluid taste if the charcoal is not completely turned heated into hot ash. Please if you do taste light fluid is NOT normal

Food: Omurice w/ Demi-Glace ($16): The egg was really fluffy and the rice was absolutely packed with flavor. The pieces of chicken inside were juicy and it all came together quite will with the sauce. The dish also came with miso soup and a salad, both of which were delicious. Fried Mackerel ($7.50): The breading was quite nice and crispy, but not too much. The fish was really good and the tarter sauce helps enhance it. Lemonade ($3.50): Was a standard lemonade, strongly thinking it's Minute Maid Lemonade, but it came with free refills which isn't bad. P.S. There was a lovely couple having their first date next to me, here's to hoping things turn out well for them

The spicy GOAM with crispy noodles as the base was great, definitely not as much of a spicy flavor as I thought, as it seemed the main source was pickled jalapeños tucked into the layers. I personally am not a fan of a concentrated spicy jalapeño bite so I ended up not getting much spice. However the rest of the pancake was very good! The loaded Kaisen was indeed piled high with seafood, but I thought the flavor was a bit light in the pancake itself. The seafood did seem fresh and tender though! The hamburg omurice was absolutely delicious. Something about their demiglace sauce here was special, I'm usually not a fan but this time I ate every drop! The steak was also tender and juicy, a perfect combination with the dish as a whole. At a late lunch time (2PMish) it wasn't too busy, and service was pretty quick! The interior is casual and you can even see the chefs working. I'd definitely come back to Chinchikurin, I can't wait to try more!

Just amazing. I'm sure if the owner knew how poorly this kitchen is being a run they would probably do something about it, and hopefully they read this to find out that your chef is clueless on how to take care of customers!
