So good loved all the rolls. Great price and kind staff. I would come here over any overpriced place any day of the week. So happy with the overall experience.

The food is good here. The ambiance is homey. Friendly. If you want fancy, this may not be what you choose - but if you want sweet staff, good service & yummy sushi, this is your place! My husband had a wonderful birthday dinner here. He was happy, so I was happy too. Thanks Bad Sushi!

This spot has been on my list and I'm so happy to finally try it! Service was great, good selection variety was also great and prices were reasonable. I'll def be back to try another set of their foods! Interior and ambiance was also very zen and romantic.

Service was great, and I appreciated the free miso soup with our meal. We got a couple rolls, all were pretty good. Fish was fresh and had no fishy taste. The waitresses were kind and checked in on us and refilled our waters. I would go again for a chill dinner.

Easily the best sushi in LA. We always come here and on Valentine's Day they always have specials, very busy yet service never slowed and there was no waiting for anything. This place is amazing, always!

BAD Sushi is a must on the west side and there's nothing BAD about it! This is my local sushi spot and I've never had a bad meal here! Always fresh and delicious. Aquaman can't get better fish than they serve here! - Parking - plenty of parking on the street, neighborhood, or in the back. - Service - it's good, but gets busy so be patient, but the people that work here are on top of it. - Ambiance - not a ton of space, but makes it a cozy experience. Good to catch up with friends, a 2nd/3rd date, or just by yourself. - Food - My go to is the packs roll, cute devil, yellowtail belly, salmon belly, and eel. You will not go wrong with any of these, but everything is FIRE like Charizard's tail. Highly recommend and a must have!

I almost didn't write this review so I could keep gatekeeping this spot, but that's a disservice I CANNOT do to the local community. BAD Sushi is a true gem. Great food, amazing service, and super fair prices that will keep you coming back. I have now tried the shrimp village, love love, and say fish rolls, and they are all DELICIOUS! Fresh, filling, and super flavorful. On one roll I asked for soy paper just to try it, and on a different occasion I returned and ordered the same roll, and they asked if I wanted to have it with soy paper again!! How did they remember that?? The service is truly exceptional and the food is even better. The interior is super cute and could be a casual dinner or local date night.

I was in the area and had a craving for sushi, then came across BAD Sushi. For a Sunday evening the place was constantly busy with both dine in and to-go customers, which was a pleasant indicator that this spot is popular. The service and food were great - even the sushi chef checked up on me! I ordered Dress Me Up, Sweet Sixteen, and Love At First Bite - all were delicious! Really glad I came across this place and will definitely be back!

This place is average. Every piece of the rolls we had ordered fell apart bc the rolls were getting stuck to the plate/foil. The fish itself was okay. This place is just mid but decently priced.

The place is busy, like busy busy but don't let the looks fool you. We saw that it was packed, but only had to wait 15 mins. They move tables quickly and people don't linger too too long. The staff was super friendly and the food comes out quickly. It's a popular place for a reason. We ordered several things and split it between two people. I thought it was just enough and only paid about $40 a person which I thought was super reasonable considering we got to try a few different things. The sushi tasted fresh and the crispy tuna was really good. Super crispy and topped with spicy tuna on top. The salmon might have been my favorite of the bunch but the different rolls were solid and even the albacore hit the spot. There wasn't anything we didn't like and there's so much to choose from. It's really hard to pick but I think we nailed it. We'll definitely be back to try more things. The Westside has a ton of sushi options and if you are looking for something not super authentic and more Americanized I'd suggest this spot. That's not a bad thing, it's just a different style that's tasty in its own right.

We came by here on a whim and weren't disappointed. The sushi was fantastic, service was great, prices were very reasonable. The only potential problem I could see is there aren't very many tables so it's possible you may not get a table without a reservation. We didn't have that problem. Plus, there's always takeout as an option. You should try it. BAD sushi stands for Best And Delicious or something. Courageous name if I do say so myself.

Rolls were not fresh and felt like eating flavorless frozen fish that was thawed. I would not go back again.

Again, at first the regular sized bowl looks small, but don't be fooled. It's a satisfying size. My son also ordered the fried chicken with tartar sauce. It's not a traditional karaage, but still quite tasty Actually, the ramen itself isn't traditional. The broth is very rich and on the thicker side. The noodles had a good texture and the fixings were done well. I appreciate the option to add some yuzu kosho albeit the paste was a bit salty. It was quite good 3.75/5 - one of the better options in Sawtelle! I do prefer lighter ramens so my rating is biased. I'd come back if my friends wanted to try it. Parking can be a bit tough. First of all, there were so many flies around us. We were constantly shooing them away which was very disruptive and honestly pretty gross for a restaurant. Secondly I ordered the spicy tsukemen and he ordered the garlic collab tsukemen. He enjoyed his but said it was literally the same as the regular tsukemen but with squid ink so nothing special. For the spicy tsukemen, it was not that good. The flavor was mid. The temperature was lukewarm at best which was weird because it came with literal smoke but when I actually tasted the soup and noodles, it was lukewarm. The only redeeming factor was the eggs. The eggs were actually so good. Otherwise the entire dish was a miss.
