Wait staff is rude and inattentive. Act like they are doing you a favor to seat you, wait on you and bring your food. Act like you cannot read a menu or know what you want to eat. Try to tell you their kitchen will do a better job with the food rather than doing your own cooking at the table grill. I have NO IDEA how they get 4.5 stars and such rave reviews. Busy spot, so that should tell you there's good food here. We were a party of 5 and ordered a variety of food ranging from Sushi, pad thai, to curry. Everyone enjoyed their food a lot. Our food was amazing. I ordered the Bulgogi Beef mild. My husband had a couple of plates of sushi . Service was quick, we were seated immediately upon entering. The food here both times were just amazing. So fun fact I lived in South Korea and I would eat kimchee all the time. I loved seeing them put the vases in the ground. I have the kimchee fried rice. The second time I ordered the la galbi (short beef ribs in Korean barbecue sauce) when I say they're marinated to the bone. I accidentally over cooked my steak though. I'm currently in culinary and that's one item we haven't cooked just yet. So I'm waiting to perfect it. I'll be back once we do. I truly love Korean food. In South Korea I wasn't eating meat. But somehow I evened up eating Popeyes. Don't judge me. lol. But all in all the service is always amazing, the ambiance is the same. I believe it is cold in here and there is always a wait so come early. They will always bring your food next door to the cigar lounge if you let them know you're there. I'm glad this has a home in Downtown Melbourne. I remember their old location and this glow up has been lovely. I like that they still have lunch specials even on Saturdays so definitely hit it up! I went with some co-workers and got a whole slew of appetizers. We got the Ika Fry (calamari), Kimbbop (Korean sushi), Half Moon Dumplings (fried pork), and Seafood Pajeon (seafood pancake). The Ika Fry was pretty good. It had thick cuts of squid in a good batter that complemented well. It came with some sweet chili sauce and a more savory one. The Kimbbop was my fave! Really well made here and super tasty. Really enjoyed the combo with some beef, imitation crab, and veggies. Highly recommend this appetizer here!! The Half Moon Dumplings were classic too. Simple and tasty. If you get the bento box, it will come with two already so this appetizer was not necessary. The Seafood Pajeon was interesting. Definitely filling and paired well with soy sauce. Not my favorite, but I'm glad I tried it out. Definitely unique! For our main entrees, we went with the Regular Beef Bulgolgi and Chicken Bulgolgi Bento Lunch special. Really delish and good portions. It came with two dumplings, some kimchi, rice another random Korean side. You get your choice of either miso soup or salad as well. Really good lunch size! So many people told us to visit. No one gave us specific dishes to try or avoid. We finally made it! We ordered several items, Korean seafood pancake, various nigiri, rolls and temaki and green curry. For the ratings here and the encouragement of others to visit, we expected to be floored, if not mildly impressed. We must have done it wrong. Nothing was standout, the sushi seemed a bit less than fresh compared to our other local spots, the curry was bland and the pancake, just fine. The miso soup had nice flavor. The service was great, and perhaps we will try again with more focus on the Korean dishes, but glad to know we can make the drive to Orlando for more authentic flavors (ahem, lotte market) and that our regular sushi and Thai spots are closer to home and consistent. read more

We've been here quite a few times. The service and the food are consistently great here. The restaurant is always so well kept and a mix of tourists and locals seems to frequent the place. Music plays in the background, but not too loud to have a conversation during the meal. read more

I got the Galbi Ribs (sometimes known as Kalbi Ribs?) and they were great! Probably the best I've had outside of Hawaii. My only disappointment was that we didn't get to cook them ourselves. I asked the waitress a few minutes after we put in our order something about cooking them and she told me that you have to request that in advance. But, this is the reason I ordered 1.5lbs of Kalbi Ribs and not the bento box. If you have something like this - a gimmick that draws people in - then the waitress should definitely ask if you want to cook on the grill yourself or have it brought out cooked. Wife wanted the hibachi but we were told only one or two tables were working and ours wasn't one of them. I ordered the Chicken katsu. It was huge and chicken was very good but the katsu sauce had a weird taste. Wife got sushi and she said us was good. The menu is huge and would be willing to try again as it has a huge following. Great Asian restaurant around downtown Melbourne. They are usually quite busy, had work pass by quite a few and every time it looks crowded so decide to give it a try. We went for dinner during weekday and was busy however we got seated right away. Server were nice and helpful. Ordered the Dolsot bibimbap, it came with side dishes and a miso soup. Miso soup was tasty and the side dishes were good (a lot of different options). The bibimbap was great but it was too hot so it took a while to finish it. I love Korean BBQ and hot pot. I read the reviews of how great the service was and felt it didn't meet the 5 star standards. My friends and I ordered and they forgot a couple of things.. which was ok in the end we had to leave early anyway. They do not have wifi and are in a service dead zone. The wait staff was tending to other tables significantly more than us. The little we did have was your usual appetizers nothing wow worthy but maybe in the future with more time we can have that 5 star experience. read more

Visited during COVID-19. All staff were wearing a mask, and keeping tables using social distancing. However, the entry often was packed with new comers wanting to put their names in the waiting list. That made me nervous. Maybe a staff should welcome only 1 party member to walk in and put name in the waiting list and ask to wait outside in order keep the entry less crowded. Although the restaurant was almost full, they still prepared our meals very quickly. We had mostly Korean, aside from my son having some noodles that resembled Vietnamese pho. I am half korean so I'm always looking for that taste of comfort....and was not disappointed! We had a seafood korean pancake. It was the perfect appetizer.
