    Shrimp Tempura & Tempura vegetables
    Clara N.

This is one of my favorite restaurants The service is good, very little waiting for both being seated & how long the food takes after ordering. My favorite dish is shrimp tempura with the veggies. Delicious My husband likes any beef dish & eel sushi. We go there on many occasions, anniversary, birthdays or for no reason at all.

Expensive but was very yummy. Ordered to go and was made in 15mins. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is pretty dark.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Came here for a friends birthday on a Sunday evening and the restaurant wasn't too busy which I appreciated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Shared some starters with friends and they were all excellent. I will be coming back for the umami mushrooms. Ordered the sweet potato roll and the cajun salmon roll. I was not a big fan of either, but I am admittedly not the biggest sushi lover. Great menu with lots of options but you can still tell it was carefully curated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Quiet and small, this is a great place to dine with friends and sip on some sake.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

It's been years since I have had sushi and sashimi this fresh and delicious. The comparable last place I had sushi this good was Umi Sake House in Seattle. The rice was fresh and tender and the miso soup was outstanding. Tasted home made with miso paste and not that dehydrated packet stand in. Definitely will return and make this a standard on our rotation.

Wow. Umami is one of the best spots I have gone for sushi. Ever. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a quaint space so I recommend coming as soon as they open and during the weekday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu is creative and advertises many options, even for those who aren't sushi fans. The flavors, portions, and presentation were phenomenal and [[HIGHLIGHT]]there's no other place in the Space Coast like it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I would like to start by saying I love umami's beachside location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I visited the West Melbourne location tonight and it was an awful experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]First we were seated in the dark at a wobbly table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had asked to move and got to a much better seat with lighting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Then when we ordered we were told that the sushi bar is "backed up" and that the food made in the kitchen would come out faster. I had went to use the restroom and saw my sushi from the bar as I walked by. When I got out of the restroom it was still sitting there. I began to believe I had made a mistake because when I returned to the table neither me or my spouse had received our food. 10 minutes went by and we watched or waitress grab the sushi that had been sitting there since I went to the restroom. My Rolls were completely cold. I said something to our waitress and she argued with me saying that the Tempura fried rolls are never hot.... it comes out of the fryer? it should be hot. She then said "well do you want another one or" and didn't even apologize. She took my rolls away from the table and not even 3 minutes later they were back on the table. Now the inside of the roll was cooked. Meaning they refried the roll that I touched. It was pretty obvious that it wasn't a new roll because now the inside (salmon) was no longer raw it was cooked. Sad to say that I can't believe this is the original location that did so well they had the means to open another location. Extremely disappointing experience and will not return to this original location.

Best sushi spot in Melbourne! It is small inside and there is often a wait to get in, but it's definitely worth it. Try to get there a little earlier than usual if you want dinner. I always have to get the Afternoon Delight (expensive but amazing) and the fried green tea ice cream!

    Salmon Carpacio

By far our favorite sushi in 321. Impeccable flavors, creative preparations and very fresh fish and ingredients. The lunch bento boxes are a steal - ton of food! Our dinner go-to is the salmon carpaccio then Philadelphia rolls. We have become regulars!

Great service! Yummy food! Husband also got a bunch of sushi/sashimi. We also loved the 5 spice calamari which was uniquely different than most places I have had it at. Husband also tried some unique beers and our server was nice and helpful with menu choices. Would 100% go back again.

Our very first time! These reviews don't do justice!! Some of our food and drinks did not last for pictures! Jozen Nigori Niigata (unfiltered sake), Born Gold Fukui sake, tartare, sushi sashimi and Uni were absolutely amazing! When you get some good friends and high quality food together it makes a great time! Our waitress was amazing had great recommendations! We drove 45 mins to meet come friends and boy was it worth it! When you pull up, looks can be deceiving but Uni was straight from Japan! Everyone at the table loved what they ordered. Very intimate restaurant in a easy to miss strip mall! If you want true high quality sushi don't sleep on this place!! We definitely plan on coming back again the food is so worth the 45min drive for us!

Came in for a quick lunch & [[HIGHLIGHT]]Umami was an awesome hole-in-the wall place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small place, with limited seating, so I'm sure there's a long wait for dinner or on weekends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started with the five-spice calamari, which was the best calamari appetizer I've ever had by far. Very amazing mix of flavors! Get it! We also did their bento lunch special, which was at a great price for the amount of food you get. It's also a great mix, if you want to try a few things & have a miso soup & salad included. There's also a couple vegan/vegetarian rolls on the menu I'll be back to try. Highly recommend this place & will definitely be back!!

The best part is the floor manager. Her name is Mama. She watches over the customers and staff with a watchful eye. She is so awesome. Older woman with the spunk of a teenager. The owner and family always have a smile for all customers too. Good people. MAKE RESERVATIONS!!! Do not just show up or you will likely have to wait. This is most nights, but especially in the weekends. And the food to value is excellent. No matter what form your sushi takes here, the quality is excellent and prices are good as well. Oh and for fun, they have sumo wrestling on the TV. Our favorite. We have no idea what's going on, but fun to watch while we eat.

I left as a human sushi roll with zero self-control and absolutely no regrets. Round 1: "I'll pace myself." Round 2: "Okay but these rolls are tiny, so it doesn't count." Round 3: "We don't quit in this family." Round 4: I started negotiating with my waistband. The sushi? Fresh, fast, and dangerously delicious. Like... suspiciously good for something labeled "all you can eat." The spicy tuna had me questioning my loyalty to every other sushi place I've ever been to. And the fried rolls? Crispy little traps of joy. AND the vibe? Super cute, really clean, and tons of seating--so even while I was making questionable life choices, at least I was doing it in a place that felt put together and comfortable. Service was on POINT. Our server kept the plates coming like they were personally invested in my downfall. At one point I'm pretty sure they made eye contact with me like, "You sure about this?" No. No I was not. By the end, I was: 70% sushi 20% soy sauce 10% poor decision-making Would I go back? Absolutely. Will I learn my lesson? Absolutely not. Pro tip: Do not say "just one more roll." It is never just one more roll. 10/10 would roll myself out of there again.

The woman answering the phone was very pleasant when placing the order, and I received a warm, friendly greeting when I arrived for pickup. I ordered the Hot Mama Roll, which was easily my favorite of the evening. The combination of kani, eel, avocado, masago, and jalapeños wrapped in mamenori delivered the perfect balance of flavors, and I absolutely loved the jalapeño kick. If you're a fan of spicy sushi, this one is a must-try. I highly recommend pairing it with spicy mayo. We also tried the Rising Sun Roll, featuring cucumber, tempura kani, masago, and avocado, topped with tuna, salmon, and ebi with a touch of sriracha. Everything tasted very fresh, and the variety of seafood made for a flavorful roll. My only wish was for a little more heat. Clearly, I love my spice! Adding some jalapeño would have taken it to the next level for me. That said, it paired wonderfully with eel sauce, which added a nice touch of sweetness. Overall, Mangetsu delivered fresh, flavorful sushi and friendly service. A great option for takeout in downtown Melbourne, especially if you're looking for quality sushi later in the evening. **INITIAL REVIEW**…read more I've been wanting to dine at Senzu Noodle Bar and Boba (which I will shorthand simply to Senzu for the remainder of this review) for the longest time, simply because it is relative to the Dragonball Series. Ever seen what happens to anyone who eats a senzu bean? Back to the review, I finally got the chance to go into Senzu, ready to dine on both noodles and boba. I mean it is in the name, right? Upon entering, the ambiance is a cross between modern restaurant and traditional ramen shop. I noticed the long wall bar where patrons would line up and enjoy their bowls of ramen during their lunch break, but I also recognize the tables for formal dine-in. As for ordering, they have the traditional face-to-face ordering along with a "contactless" kiosk. Senzu offers a decent range of appetizers, mains centered on noodle dishes such ramen, yakisoba, and udon, rice bowls, and boba. There are more to list, but the aforementioned is the primary bulk of the menu. From said menu, I ordered miso chicken ramen and Thai boba tea. The ramen was very flavorful, with a decent amount of ramen, add-ons, and chicken for $16.00. The Thai boba tea was good too at $4.00. Yes, I will say the price is a bit on the high side these days, but the price of food is going up in general. There is also a specials menu, made new every single day or week. One of the specials on said menu was unagi on rice, or grilled eel with tare glaze on rice. Since it was a special, it had the special price, too, at $20. Not complaining, but take note that specials definitely have special pricing. Was it good? It was, but definitely had better. As a matter of fact, I have had better of each of the food items I ordered. Still, you can't go wrong eating here at Senzu, unless you want to spend a little less. But you know what? I would not expect any less from the same people who own So-Ju Chicken and Bakudan Street Food. Ultimately, I will give Senzu a solid four-out-of-five star rating for this review. Definitely a good place to eat, and a new restaurant to enjoy such food. If they are consistent with their food and presentation (service included), I will grant them their fifth star for consistency.
