Round 1: "I'll pace myself." Round 2: "Okay but these rolls are tiny, so it doesn't count." Round 3: "We don't quit in this family." Round 4: I started negotiating with my waistband. The sushi? Fresh, fast, and dangerously delicious. Like... suspiciously good for something labeled "all you can eat." The spicy tuna had me questioning my loyalty to every other sushi place I've ever been to. My girlfriend and I had a fantastic lunch here. The sushi was fresh and the server friendly. It was my girlfriend's first time having sushi so she ordered a spider roll (soft shell crab roll) and she loved her roll! I opted for the AYCE option and had so much sushi that my girlfriend was astounded by how much I could eat! Everything was fresh and not too much rice under the delectable fishies. When you think of all you can eat you think of a buffet. But this is not a buffet experience at all. When you first walk in to the building where the restaurant is located, they have the cutest decorations outside the entrance. Their "outdoor" seating is still inside under air conditioning which is nice. You are handed a double sided menu that has a sushi side and a kitchen side which are included on the all you can eat. It varies from sashimi, sushi rolls, hot items like lo mein, soup, gyozas, and much more other items. You are given 2 papers with a pen where you check off what you want and hand it back to the waiter. They then start bringing you out the food you ordered. When you're about done with what you ordered, they'll bring you more order papers so you can continue to get as much good as you want. Everything I ate was delicious. The sushi was very fresh. The salmon sashimi was very flavorful. The most unique thing I ate was the "dinosaur egg" which is half spicy tuna, half avocado in tempura batter and deep fried. Really good. This is the cutest place I've seen. The outdoor seating is actually indoors but feels like you're outside. It worked in our favor become it was raining. The employees are super friends and we decided to get the all you can eat for 31 dollars each. So basically they have a paper where you check off what you can and they bring it to you. I think the dishes I had were OK. None of the rolls really stood out for me. Even the sashimi was just ok. I think the presentation was a little Bit lacking and the flavors were just OK. Service was fine but it was also dead when I came. I love mussels and also that was very much lacking in flavor. I almost wanted to ask for some chili sauces or something just to cover for the average flavors. The worst roll for me was the salmon skin one and that is one of my favorite ingredients with rolls from in most places, here they just couldn't hit the mark. read more

This was my second time at Osuki and if I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. This place is so good! The food is fresh and presentation is immaculate! It hasn't been busy at all the times that I've gone and it's quite nice enjoying a meal in such a quiet restaurant. Your food comes out very quickly and the employees are super nice. They are very quick to come over and ask if you need a refill. It feels like they grab empty plates as soon as they're placed at the end of the table. I thought the ambiance was nice. The first time here they had a dragon outside. Also the first time I came here. Someone ordered egg fried rice. And was told it would take a minute. When i came back and I tried to order it they told me they didn't serve it. that was the odd thing for me. The service both times were good. The crab legs were nice and generous, however they were slightly undercooked...problem one. The sushi plate was beautifully presented with a mini vase and flower on each plate. However our sushi (fish) was NOT cold, warm even...problem two. The octopus and short rib appetizer seemed a little off in taste...problem three. Lastly the avocado and soy sauce had a strange acid taste...problem four. Having said all of this-we ate most of everything and really wanted to love it. My boyfriend and I ate here last night and started with a few appetizers- crab Rangoon, calamari and spring rolls. All were very good. They're small portions which allow you to try a lot of menu items. We started with three specialty rolls- dragon, a tempura and I honestly forget the third but it was my least favorite of the three. All rolls had way too much rice and were just a little on the bland side. There were no flavors or textures that stood out. We went back to the appetizer list after those rolls since nothing was really standing out to us. On the next round we ordered the teriyaki salmon which ended up being my favorite item all night. I would give 5 stars for the service because our server was attentive and as soon as the food was ready they bring it to your table. However, we went during lunch time during the week and there was only 1 other table occupied while we were there. The sushi is just average. The nigiri sushi was good, a little more rice than other restaurants. The salmon and avocado roll was good but the other special rolls I wouldn't get again. The spicy tuna inside one of my rolls was NOT spicy, didn't really even have a tuna taste and had this weird off putting pink color to it? I'm used to seeing darker colored tuna when it's a spicy mixture. Looking at other pictures on yelp it looks like some people had a darker color so not sure why there is a difference on different days. I didn't get a picture of my husbands eel rolls with cream cheese but I don't recommend ordering unless all you want to taste is cream cheese because the size of squares in each slice was huge. I would say we got our moneys worth from the nigiri but wouldn't go here again. I'll spend the money on better rolls at other places. read more

Nice place in historic downtown Melbourne. Had a family lunch here, so everyone can pick what ever they want and how much they want. All you can eat, not buffet style - but served at the table so not walking around the whole time to pile up plates. The portions are perfectly sized so you can try multiple things before you cant eat no more... staff is not in a rush and the selections are good for lunch. I am picky when it comes to sushi as sometimes when ordering sushi the rice becomes too much. Not here - so well done. I Did wish there was some more sashimi options but maybe thats for dinner. They are still new and when I went the first time, a few kinks needed to be ironed out. Well... they did it!! Absolutely a perfect experience!! The manager was so kind and very attentive from the second we arrived. He even remembered me when I came in, and had followed some advise on how to make the experience better I had mentioned from the first visit. To be remembered is special, and to be told of how the business made improvements since the last visit was beyond exceptional. It truly shows how they care and strive for their customers to have an amazing experience. Every dish was fresh!
