We have ordered from them for the past few months maybe more and it's always been delicious. We are pizza people and we love our pizza. We usually order pineapple, bacon and ham pizza, not many places have it but they do and it's soooo good. We have also gotten a stuffed pie once and that was amazing and very filling. The Genius behind the register told me "those prices on our website are two years old, the receipt will show you the price". Total disregard for customer service or THEIR OWN PRICING. I ordered the Sausage & Pepper Pizza. The pizza tasted amazing; however, it was difficult to eat because of the shape of the pizza. Typically these type of toppings are on a regular pie; however, this was placed on something that can best be described as a Sicilian. However, it was a flimsy Sicilian so all the toppings kept falling off. Besides the toppings falling off, the pizza was delicious. Also, we had the food delivered and it came right on time. Overall, I recommend giving this place a try and maybe requesting that the speciality come on a regular pie not a Sicilian. read more

So my expectations were pretty high based on recommendations by other local families. I should know better than to have high expectations! Friday night-8pm. The parking lot was pretty crowded. Many restaurants have a wait at this time. We walked in (to the left) and were greeted by a young man who stated we could pick a table. It's a small room that consists of maybe 10 tables; 3 of which were occupied. We picked the table by the window, not realizing it was also next to a door and the bathrooms. It was 2 small tables pushed together, one that wobbled and was fixed with a napkin when we pointed it out. The waitress was very....flighty? Or nervous? Or related? I dunno, but her bra was out on her shoulders and on her entire back. It was very unprofessional. She was nice, just not who I'd pick to wait on the public. So we ordered simple foods to try: A margherita pizzette, which when we asked how big it was, she replied by drawing us a picture in the air. A fried calamari appetizer. A child's pasta with tomato sauce. And a pasta fagioli soup. After waiting a half hour with no communication on the part of the waitress, we asked about the soup and she said "oh it's made to order." LOL One bowl of soup, made from scratch, per order? "Yes", she said. I'm speechless. So then we asked the busboy if they offered bread for the table, we were told they ran out and would bring some out when made. What came out 10 minutes later was a few pieces of cold stale Italian bread and 3 piping hot, burnt on the bottom, garlic knots. At this point, we just wanted to leave. Two tables that came in after us were eating full entrees! Then our food comes out...The soup was a bowl full of tomato soup with a few beans, a few pasta pieces and cheese. Lots of parmesan cheese stirred in. The pizzette was ok. The fried calamari was hot, plentiful and good. And the child's pasta was oversauced but also ok. The table water, straight out of the tap, with ice. The silverware, straight out of the dollar store. I dropped my napkin on the floor and as I bent down to pick it up, I was greeted with an onslaught of ants! They were crawling all over the door jam and on the floor under our table. If I would have seen that before we sat down, we would have left. For the prices on that menu, give me a table that doesn't wobble, a knowledgeable waitress who can dress herself, utensils that aren't bendable and no extra diners under my feet. The 2 stars are for the appetizers that came out 50 minutes after we sat down.....Appetizers....!!! Good luck Mangiamo's. read more

Today was the first and last time I eat their food. I ordered 2 regular slices for myself and 2 Sicilian slices for my fiancé. Easy enough, nbd, should be fine. My slices weren't sliced all the way through, but I can handle that. The cheese and sauce were disgusting. I was starving so I forced one slice down & my fiancé who eats pretty much anything couldn't even eat half of one of his slices. Long story short, fast forward 4 hours and now I'm throwing up. Threw up 4 for times and I know it's from the pizza that I had from Mangiamos a few hours ago. I haven't had anything since and nothing to eat prior to here today. Take your money and go across the street to Alberts. Alberts pizza is consistently amazing. I don't know why I just didn't go there to begin with. Figured I'd give Mangiamos a try... now I'm paying for it. Lesson learned. read more

I had my niece visiting this afternoon and decided to order from my go-to restaurant that I ordered from several times a week (which will no longer be my go to after today). She wanted chicken parmigiana, she only likes mozzarella cheese not parmigiana (grated cheese). I specifically noted mozzarella only. I was sent two chicken cutlets in sauce, no mozzarella cheese. I ordered via Slice, so I contacted them. I initially chatted with Allie, and she said she can't get in touch with the restaurant, she would contact me in an hour. That's not helpful when you have a hungry kid. Allie then ended my chat. I then tried to chat with Slice again and got Ava. She gives me the same excuse, she will get back to me in an hour. I said I have a hungry kid here just please credit me, and I will order from another restaurant, all of a sudden, she was able to get in touch with them. Mangiamos said they didn't put parm cheese, so they weren't resending or refunding. I tried to call the restaurant directly, was hung up on, i called back and then was put on hold and the gentleman never came back on the line. This behavior is unbelievable from both Mangiamos and Slice. I will use neither ever again. read more

Honestly not such great pizza. The crust was undercooked and the sauce legit tasted like it was poured straight out of a can.

I have been a few times before and the pizza was phenomenal. The last couple of times the pizza was lackluster at best. It was cold by the time I got it home and not fully cooked. Awful!!!!! In every aspect!!!! Let's start with the customer service. Called ahead to make sure they did curbside. Gentleman on the phone said it was no problem! A few minutes later I placed my order online, piece of cake. It said estimated 30 minute wait. Considering the circumstances I figured it would be a little longer, but not over ONE hour!!!! Once arrived, I called and said I was here for a pickup. Whoever answered the phone, clearly not the same person from before, said he was too busy to do pick up as he had a line. I explained that I ordered specifically for curbside and if they were unable to bring it out I no longer wanted it. Annoyed, the gentleman said if he could bring it out when it was ready he would "try." Pretty pathetic response. Since I had already paid I figured to wait a little while longer. Eventually it was brought out. I wish the awful experience ended there. Upon bringing the pizza home and opening it, that was even worse then the customer service. I ordered a mushroom pie, which was an extra $3. I could count how many mushrooms were on the pizza. The most sad looking pizza with toppings I've ever seen. Once I picked up a slice is was so thin, floppy and wet it almost curled over. Let's put it this way, the pizza was edible. There are many other pizza places around. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here unless you don't care about service or taste. Dominos has better pizza then this place! read more

Becoming regular's lately for their Mon-Tue $12 pie special. My first 2 jobs when I was young were at pizza parlors, so I know what's good and what isn't (at least to my taste). Their cheese pie is very good, especially considering the size (18") and price. A lot of places cheap out on the size, brand of cheese or amount of sauce but Mangiamo's has it nailed. I ordered from Andiamo's and it said to pick up the order from Mangiamo's, but I'm going to assume that the food was made here. The baked ziti was good, although a bit on the saucy side. The calzone was really good, one of the best in this area. The cheese ratio is amazing and makes it a very neat calzone, with almost no cheese spillage. The garlic knots, which were a little small, were very crispy, although they could have been a little softer on the inside. They tasted great. I appreciated how the knots and the calzone both had a garlicky topping which added a lot of flavor. Im not sure what the deal is with andiamo's and mangiamo's is but the food I got here was great. read more

We ordered a grandma pizza with meatballs, sausage and onions and garlic knots. Two of the slices that the four of us ate had SHARDS OF CLEAR, HARD PLASTIC THAT WE ALMOST SWALLOWED!! We stopped eating the rest of the food and called Mangiamo's and notified them of the danger. The manager was unconcerned and refused to refund our money. I'd give them 0 stars if I could. Suffice it to say we won't eat from Mangiamo's again and if you value your health, you might not want to either. read more

I rarely will give a bad review unless something really goes wrong. I gave Mangiamo a poor review months ago because their customer service was lacking for quite some time. In hindsight I realize that everyone is struggling because we're in the middle of a pandemic. I want to give Mangiamo a thumbs up for their delicious food. My biggest complaint was getting spaghetti instead of penne when I ordered penne a la vodka. I want to apologize for being so petty. By the way your customer service has greatly improved, my guess is you weren't fully staffed and definitely very busy for good reason. i've ordered before because of their lower prices in comparison to other businesses but now i realize why it's so low. the service was the worst i've experienced and i'm really not one to get upset over service. i had made an order for delivery and knew it would take 45-60min which they also clarified. it ended up taking 90 minutes and when i called to ask about it, i was greeted rudely on the phone. once delivered, they ran out of some of our order so they just never let us know and when it arrived, they tried to charge us for the whole order which we had to sort out. if you have a regular pizza shop that you order from, just stick with them, honestly. read more

Went there a number of times. Robert the owner very friendly but needs to polish up on his business sense. Helped him get into the school system for events. The food is sometimes hit & miss. On one occasion getting Capuccino coffee for two was such a wait as one came out and had to wait for the next one and also wait for dessert to catch up with cold coffee. The owner knew what happened and should have taken charge off bill. Also when a member of the school brought a $300 dollar check for a event he was charged for a slice of pizza. Not good business sense. Love ya Robert but you need to get on the stick to grow this business. read more

Second time trying this place and was extremely disappointed. My husband ordered a salad last time, and raved about it so we ordered it again. It was gross! The chicken tasted like the frozen kind you get in a bag and wasnt cooked. So much feta you couldnt enjoy it at all. We met friends here for dinner last night and had one of the most delicious Italian meals we had ever had! The Mozzarella ala Casa and the Calamari appetizers were amazing. I had Shrimp Parmesan that was the perfect ratio of sauce and cheese. The side vegetables were crisp and tasty. Everyone was delighted with the food and the service. My first time since it changed hands and I felt that the staff was inexperienced and unprofessional. Our orders came out of the kitchen at different times making it difficult to all eat at the same time. The tossed salad had the dreaded canned olives!! An Italian restaurant should know better than to use canned olives. A big no no for me. We've found our new "go to" Italian Restaurant! The sauce isn't bitter or too sweet. The pink sauce was so good last time that my daughter insisted this is where we come for her birthday dinner today! Half the table ordered it and none of us were disappointed. The bread basket had something for everyone- garlic knots, Italian bread and small pieces of focaccia with cheese melted. Everyone's pasta was cooked perfectly- not mushy or too chewy. The portions are ample. Not remotely large, but big enough that 4 of us have dinner tomorrow too. Monday and Tuesday are pasta nights and our waiter said he's bringing in a singer on Thursdays. We ordered coffee with dessert and we were pleasantly surprised for a Tuesday, that it didn't taste like it was just sitting on the burner all night. We will definitely be back! read more

Sunday evening we went in to mangiamos for the second time. The first time the service was very slow, we were left without utensils, and our pasta came with the wrong sauce. The food was really good we figured the waiter was having an off day so we decided to give it another try. Sunday the service was much better. The waitress was great and the food was delicious. Unfortunately we overheard the server from our first time, who I believe is the manager, having a conversation with our server that was very inappropriate and clearly made her uncomfortable. We've eaten at Mangiamos twice in the past two weeks, which is about how long its been open under the new owner's give or take a week or so. Anyway, both visits we found the place to be clean, well decorated and comfortable to relax in. The food was very very good. Portions were large, presented very well and reasonably priced. Sounds good...BUT... they lose us with "service" its bad, very very slow. When the wait staff did find their way to the table they were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Its just took what seemed to be forever to get our order. When you get that uncomfortable feeling after sitting for to long it kind of kills the meal. I think this could be a very successful operation with some minor tweaks...add a wait staff that's well trained and improve "ticket times". This place could be a homerun...but for now it's a double for us. We'll go back again, but if its the same same, that's the third strike ...we're out! read more

We had eaten at Mangiamo's on a May 26th as a family of four and couldn't have been happier with the service, food and pricing, we were surprised and thrilled to find a restaurant that everyone liked and we could support the local community. We were so impressed that we decided to host our son's graduation dinner at the restaurant, not a huge party but a group of 12. Mangiamo's said they could handle our crowd and we booked for June 23rd at 4 in the afternoon, never a really busy time for any restaurant so we pretty much knew we would have the place to ourselves and not bother other people looking for a quiet dinner. We had dropped off decorations, which they presented beautifully on the table, and had even given us extra seats and space so we wouldn't feel crowded. Knowing that the restaurant is on the smaller size and that the dinners might take a little while to be served I had requested that appetizers be on the table when we arrived, they said that they wouldn't be on the table but would be served as everyone was seated. I wanted everyone to come, eat and enjoy each other's company. Everyone was seated by 4:10 and then the wait started. After asking for the appetizers several times and being told they were on the way I started to get nervous. We were on round two of garlic knots and then loafs of heated bread were served. My guests were getting hungry, the water and soda glasses were constantly empty, and the waitress was nowhere to be found. Finally at 4:50 the appetizers were brought to the table, the combo platters were enjoyed but because we had waited for almost an hour everyone was starving and the two platters weren't enough to curb the growling stomachs. Again we sat; empty dishes were all over the table, repeatedly we had to ask for drinks. When the salads arrived they were inconsistent in size and contents. The house italian dressing was red and lacked any type of taste, before the table could be bused the dinners were coming out, unfortunately the waitress was unsure of the menu or what was offered and had misinformed us of what type of sauce would be on the pasta, no one wanted to send them back for a sauce change, additionally wrong dishes were given to wrong guests. Three people had ordered the chicken and one had ordered the veal, thankfully it was an easy exchange between family members, but that could have been an issue for others. By now she was so overwhelmed and nervous she was flustered while attempting to clear the dirty dishes, fill the glasses and make sure everyone had what they were supposed to. This was not the flow of the meal that I had intended, first we sat for almost an hour and then everything came out almost at once. The food was not of the same quality as it was on our previous visit. We were left to obtain our own salt and pepper from another table, fill our own water glasses and bus the table. We had brought a cake to be served, which they were more than happy to cut and plate for us, however, they brought it in the back, I know the pieces that were cut were on the larger side, however, when we asked where the leftover cake was they said there wasn't any, they had cut the ¼ sheet cake into 12 pieces, quite possible correct but seemed unusual. I had to ask for coffee to be served, one guest asked for tea, but they weren't sure if they had any, when they finally found it, the cup came out with the tea bag already in the water. Once coffee was served I needed to ask for sugar and creamer to be brought to the table. I know this is a new restaurant and there will be a learning curve, however, this is not the type of service I could recommend to anyone. We are forgiving restaurant patrons and frequent restaurants as a group several times a year, we generally talk to the staff, build a rapport and grow upon the experience, however, we were left to fend for ourselves and feel unwanted and under-served. read more

My friends and I wanted to try someplace new for dinner before a movie and decided to give Mangiamo a shot. What a mistake. We arrived at 5:00 thinking we would have plenty of time to eat before a 6:30 movie. We almost missed the beginning. Our beverages and bread were brought to the table right away. The bread was warm but was plain bread and no butter was served with it and we didn't have plates to put our bread on. We noticed that other tables semed to get garlic bread. It took 35 minutes for our salads to arrive and they were fine. It was another 30 minutes before my friends entree arrived and another 10 minutes after that for m y entree to make it to the table. They did bring me the pasta that went with my entree and I was stunned to see and taste that it was jarred sauce on the pasta. If I were to take a guess I would say it was the Ragu of my childhood. My shrimp parm was clearly frozen, breaded shrimp with the same jarred sauce as the pasta. My friends both had the short rib special. They each spent $30 for short ribs that were over cooked and burnt. They did say the mashed potatoes were good. I was never asked if my soda needed to be refilled and because the service was so slow we had to rush to eat to make the movie. We all agreed that we would have been much better off going to the diner across the street. read more
