Used to be my go-to place. Recent bad experience has soured me on it permanently. The counter staff was either incompetent or untrained or both. No matter, they all had a bad attitude. They kept telling me my order wasn't ready -- a simple pie and appetizer-- even though I'd placed the order more than 40 minutes before. When I got fed up with waiting, I wanted my money back, and the staff lied that they couldn't refund my money. There are much better places who deserve your money. read more

Ordered a quart of Italian Wedding soup, got home and discovered that they gave me pasta fagioli soup. I threw it out, I hate pasta fagioli. For a small get-together with friends my wife ordered a few dishes from Old Town Pizza. We had chosen this establishment because we had stopped in one day; at the time our gym was near by; and were very pleasantly surprised at the tastiness of the food. For a pizzeria the "zuppa di pesce" that my wife and I shared was surprisingly delightful. Consequently, we thought we would order the same dishes we had had and added the baked clams to try. In addition to the two trays of: "zuppa di pesce" and fried calamari; we also ordered two trays of baked clams. The restaurant added a side order of "spaghetti marinara." The baked clams, regrettably, were inedible. The stuffing was very soft and did not have a pleasant taste. Because my friend and I always compare our own sauces and pasta to all restaurants we visit, we decided to taste the "spaghetti marinara." It would have been better to pass. The sauce was pasty and lacked seasoning as well as the sweetness of a fresh sauce, the spaghetti were cooked al dente but drowned in the poor tasting sauce.. The fried calamari were crisp, tender and flavorful. The "zuppa di pesce" was good. The takeaways: 1. Food arrived hot. 2. Portions are good. 3. Catered food last minute for my Dept. Just under 500 dollars we had about 70 people show up. Everyone loved the pork osso bucco with risotto. The risotto is unbelievable. Rigatoni Genovese what perfect, penne alla vodka was perfect, sausage and peppers were incredible. Bread basket went great. Bad takeout. I did Uber eats that was good. But the food was terrible and just plain gross. The Buffalo cauliflower was mushy and the outside slimy. Right in the garbage. I got hot antipasto. The stuffed mushrooms was like a soup. I didn't realize the baked clams was under that soup. It was sweet and bad. I got chicken cutlet parm. They chopped it up into slices. They were so dry. The sauce was way too sweet. Put down the sugar. At first I couldn't tell what was the eggplant and what was the chicken. Eggplant very thick. Thank goodness for the garlic bread and garlic knots. This place is always busy with lots of customers ordering takeout. That shows how good it is. But there are booths for eat-in too. Service has always been good whenever I went there. I usually drop in for a chicken parmigiana hero, but have had other things too. The food is always fresh. A huge parking lot in front makes it easy to park. Take-out usually takes about 20 minutes to prepare, but you can call ahead to have it ready. read more

I like the pizza from here and they have delicious garlic knots. The inside can be a little crazy when trying to pick up your order when it's busy. The workers are usually helpful and friendly. They have a couple of booths to sit at if you want to dine in, but I usually just do take out. read more

I can understand being busy and a pie going slightly cold but this clearly was not the case. I called at 5pm to order a pie for delivery at my house after ordering for our place of business. Finally 8pm I called again because They never showed. I called three times, got three different stories! The fourth time I called to cancel and make sure they charged my card back. The service was reprehensible. I ordered a Caprese salad and they substituted a totally different salad without giving us proper notice. The salad they substituted was a burrata salad without any cheese, which is the reason I'm assuming I didn't receive a Caprese salad to begin with. That's annoying but understandable. However when we called to see if we could get something else more to my taste, the man was incredibly rude and then hung up on us mid-word, which is entirely unacceptable. Do better. read more

We ordered from this place last night after having an awful customer service experience a few months back & swearing to never order from here again. Last night was an absolute nightmare & reminder as to why we swore this place off initially. 1) My pizza box was delivered completely open, and when I asked the driver why the box was open his answer was, "bc it's not closed". 2) We opted for garlic parm crust, which ended up being a ridiculous amount of chopped garlic sloppily thrown on the pizzas crust & top half of the pizza. My family loves garlic, but this was just ridiculous. 3) After scraping the garlic off, the pizza simply wasn't good. 4) We also ordered clams which were the reason we tried them again bc they were the 1 thing we remember being good, they were awful. 5) I will say, we ordered a chicken Caesar wrap which was good. 6) On top of everything our order was late. Not sure if I'm more annoyed with them, or with myself for trying them out after having swore them off. read more

We wanted pasta tonight and automatically went to old town pizza. It's close and always good in the past. 2 of us has the lobster ravioli and my husband had the pasta pomodoro with sausage. The sauce with the lobster ravioli was awful!! The shrimp & scallops in the sauce tasted like they had been in there for days. They were tough & inedible! The pomodoro sauce was like paste. Now I always knew a pomodoro sauce to be light w/ basil, this stuff was far from it and the sausage in the sauce was so dried out! $70+ dollars for 3 dinners that ended up in the garbage is a disgrace! Just picked up dinner from here for the first time since it was Pepino's years ago. I ordered a large Neapolitan pie and a sausage calzone, both to-go. The cheese:sauce ratio on the pizza was excellent and it's probably the best sauce I've ever had on any pizza in my entire life. That says a lot. But none of us were crazy about the crust. It was kind of bready and not crisp at all. Seems like it was taken out of the oven the second it was done and didn't really have a chance to brown at all. I'm always reluctant to ever ask for a well-done pie, but maybe next time I will and see how that turns out. I'm still giving them 4 stars because the rest of the pizza was just that good and the crust wasn't bad per se. As for the sausage calzone, it wasn't that great. It was HUGE, but the sausage wasn't too flavorful and the ricotta and mozzarella took over because there was just so much of it. However the small container of sauce they give you on the side was other-worldly and I could've drank it out of a glass. Trying Old Town Pizza out again after a rocky first time and I gotta say, I do very much enjoy the food here! My family orders in a lot and lately OTP has been the go to. I get a few different things but I really love their salads! The portions for a size large are astronomical! The Cesar dressing is really good and I am very particular about dressing. My sister always gets the crispy chicken salad and it's very delicious and unique!
