    Saddest impossible burger ever.
    Justin G.

Lots to get better here, especially from a Disney affiliated property. Our server, Bill, was pretty inattentive, never came to see how the meal was or refilled drinks. My wife's impossible burger was one of the sorriest things I've seen come out of a kitchen in a long time. No cheese, rock hard tomatoes, stone cold sides of broccoli and mashed potatoes, and on sandwich bread like they didn't even try. Ironically the pasta and French onion soup i had were relatively decent. Ambiance was casual. If we weren't trying to go to bed early for a half marathon tomorrow I'd have gotten up and walked out and gone anywhere else.

Service was exceptional, came here just for a couple quick apps and a glass of wine. Staff friendly, food reasonable cost, everything was perfect.

This is the restaurant on property at the Shades of Green. Pretty nice and friendly folks. It busy this night so we were sat very quickly. Jared our server was on point and had our drinks out PDQ. We started with with the house salad and the French onion soup and clam chowder. The chowder was packed with clams and had a great flavor. The onion soup had lots of cheese and that nice deep onion broth flavor. For my main I had the spaghetti Bolognese. Lots of meat sauce and the pasta was cooked just right. I thought this was pretty good. A little sweet for me and needed salt but all in all pretty tasty. Deb had the steak and shrimp scampi. Steak was cooked great especially considering how small the portion was. Shrimp was the star. You can't go wrong with garlic and parm though. The cocktails were really good with nice pours. Decent wine list. Overall it was ok and good if you want a sit down meal at the resort at a good price. However it was nothing spectacular. No signature meals that we could find and nothing we had jumped out.

food: very bland, barely any flavor on the mahi-mahi, didn't taste very fresh. Chicken parm had no flavor besides the sauce, chicken was bland. Chicken quesadilla was out of touch, tasted more like pot pie in a tortilla. Key lime pie, nice presentation but tasted more like cheesecake. service: our server was very nice and polite. Not so attentive when it came to drinks ambiance: quite, dim lighting

Service - Excellent on a Sunday night (4th of July weekend) Food - Speedy and delicious! We came here after a day at Epcot. While we didn't stay at Shades of Green, we are still eligible to dine and use the spa here because of my husband's disability eligibility. The prices for an Italian steak house can't be beat. We were a party of 6, including our preteens and 1 year old. The ambiance was nice for a date night, but also low key for a family after a day at the parks. Many were super casual. Our server was attentive and gave good recommendations.

Absolutely fantastic. The New York strip steak was very tender not a small portion either very large. Cheese wheel was fun to watch make the pasta dish. Everyone had great food. Chicken teriyaki was tender. Sweet potatoes had pecans.

After a long day the girls wanted to come back to the hotel to eat, so we tried Mangino's, thus is Shades of Greens top sitdown restaurant located on property. Menu is not very big but they had something we all liked. Again we got an order of Calamari( 99% of the time if it's on the menu my kids want Calamari) it came with sweet chili sauce I asked them for Marinara instead, my one daughter got a Ceasar Salad, I got the French Onion. For main courses both girls got an 8oz Filet Mignon one got side if mashed potatoes and the other sweet potatoes both came with green beans, I got a 10 oz Ribeye, mashed potatoes and string beans. The Calamari was good, a little on the salty side but it was tender, portion was small so I recommend if you're a party of 4 or more get 2 orders and the Marinara flavorful. My daughter liked the Ceasar Salad she ordered a small but it was a good size, bigger than what I expected for a small. The French Onion was just "Okay" for me, not saying it was bad, but I wouldn't order it here again. They brought our steaks accompanied each with a steak knife. The funny think was the steak knives could not cut any of our steaks. It wasn't because the steak was tough it was all 3 knives were that dull. I switched a butter knife and that worked fine. My Ribeye was cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning, I usually don't use A1 but I found it necessary. My Daughter's Filet Mignon medium inside but they complained it had to much char on the outside, I tried theirs and it was like they said, perfect in the center but the char was more than we would prefer. We found the service from our waiter, Bob, to be excellent! For a small hotel restaurant Mangino's is pretty good.

We didn't have a reservation but just walked up to the bar entrance. With a bar of full of stools and six tables, they have plenty of spots for walk ups. With the circular shape of the bar area, you get an unobstructed massive view out to the grounds and vistas! We had the: Wayfinder Burger - AMAZING BURGER (my personal third place fav on WDW property)! Crispy edges on a hand formed patty, dynamic volcano sauce that isn't as spicy as it is flavorful, and an onion jam that you'll want to add to everything! Pineapple Barbecue Chicken Sliders - with dark meat and white meat, you can tell that the meat is fresh and moist. The pairing of adobo mayo and pineapple barbecue is sublime!!! Sweet Potato Fries - no need for ketchup. These are perfectly seasoned to eat Macaroni Salad - not your grandma's dry stuff, they have creamy, eggy, little spicy flavor bomb Mac salad Non-Alcoholic Pina Colada - don't miss this! Whimsical presentation and a coconut cream splash of happiness for your taste buds The staff is amazing. The view is stunning. The food is divine. Top flight WDW location.

No one has ever complained about their meal :) Quite the opposite. They have all raved over their choices. As for myself, I have ordered the wayfinder burger on all 3 visits to Wailulu Bar & Grill and I have no regrets. It's likely the best burger on Disney property. My suggestion is to go with the sweet potato fries rather than the macaroni salad. I did not care for the mac salad and it was quite different from what they actually serve in Hawaii. The sweet potato fries are delicious though!

You are able to park here if…read moreyou have a dining reservation at one of the other restaurants, they do not take reservations, only walk up. If you are not wanting to dine at the resort, you can take a bus or monorail from Magic Kingdom. It has been a while since I did a review and we have been here quite a few times over the last year. I felt it was time to update. I have a love hate with this place, I used to love it, then we had some negative experiences however, the last few visits have been great. They now open early at 11am which is really great as it gets so busy! We love to stop here when doing a monorail crawl but also recently took my mom and dad here. You need to add your name to the list and your wait can be different all the time. It really depends on how many names are on the list. I will say that larger groups tend to wait much longer. If you are a smaller group such as 2, and are seated at a table for 4, just know that they will seat you with others. MY biggest issue with this place is I believe it should have a time limit. It is incredibly small inside and we have waited over 3 hours to go in. I just feel if Beak and Barrell at Magic and Oga's at Studios has a time limit, they need one here. Maybe bump it to 60 minutes. The problem comes with that there is so much to see and interactions happening with drinks being ordered that you could literally sit in there for hours and order 1 drink. We have had many drinks on the menu including wine and beer. I am not in love with all their drinks, they are very rum heavy and can be very sweet and full of juice, however there are some good ones. I have also tried just wine which is also fine. My husband frequently orders the beer flight which includes 3 different types of Kona beer. Some of my favorite cocktails are the Rosita's Margarita, which is Casamigos reposado tequila, bols orange curacao liqueur, fresh lime juice, falernum and organic agave nectar. It is really good but can be sour if not made correct. Don't be afraid if that happens to ask them to add a little extra sweetener. I also enjoy the Mosquito Mojito which has Bacardi Dragonberry Rum, Organic Agave Nectar, Falernum, Mint, and Fresh Lime Juice topped with Soda Water. It is a classic mojito but can also end up being sour. I usually ask for a little extra nectar. They also serve food. We love the food here and they have actually updated their menu recently. Our favorite item is the Thai Chicken Flatbread with bacon and peanut sauce which is delicious and the Pan-Fried Dumplings. They have a new Shrimp and Plantain Roll which looks great and we will be trying it next time. Some of their drinks come with an interactive experience including the Uh-Oa, the Nautilus, the Hippopoto Mai-Tai and the Krakatoa Punch. And anyone who orders it, gets to sort of take part in the interactive experience. The whole lounge has effects. Would I recommend this yes. I am torn if this is a 4 or a 3. The wait is ridiculous at times, but it is really fun. I prefer the table seats as opposed to the bar or high tops personally and you cannot really ask to sit somewhere. I do think this needs to be expanded. Outside they have a different version or Trader Sam's, same menu no interactivities. They need to take that over and make this lounge much much larger. I would say check it out if you can get it or dont mind waiting. Put your name on the list and go to a different bar and wait!

If you don't arrive early, you may be placed on a virtual waitlist, which can reach three or four hours. Once you're called, you have about 15 minutes to arrive before they move on to the next party. Wait times can be accurate--or wildly inaccurate--so it's best to stay nearby. The theming is fantastic, and the atmosphere is full of energy. Many of the special effects depend on the cast members interacting with guests, so visiting earlier in the day is a good idea while everyone is still at peak energy. The drinks are expensive, but they're tasty, strong by Disney standards, and absolutely Instagram-worthy. You can also purchase some excellent tiki mugs. The food menu is limited, but what we tried was good. Be aware that you'll probably share a table with another party, but that can make the experience even more fun. I always have a great time here, and my friends do too. The last time I visited, I ended up sharing a table with a witch doctor. We started talking about magic, exchanged spells and trinkets, and I gave him my lucky goat's eye. In return, he gave me a bone on a handmade vine necklace that had apparently been blessed by his chief. When I got home, I started hearing war drums. The next thing I knew, it was July 4th, and I woke up inside a Winnie the Pooh costume in the Magic Kingdom. I still have no idea what happened, but I'm fairly certain the necklace had something to do with it.

It feels very much like the place where dad's go to get away from the family for 5 minutes and grab a beer. It is directly next to Chef Mickey's so you also get a ton of people who will just sit there while they wait for their table. This is my main issue with Outer Rim. We want to visit and sit down, and enjoy the view of the lake, but half the time we can never find a seat because there are tons of families who are waiting for their table at Chef Mickey's. I don't understand why Chef Mickey's does not have better seating for people who are waiting. I also don't understand why the servers at Outer Rim don't tell families that the tables are reserved for people who are dining at Outer Rim. Or put a sign on the table. Half the time we try to go here we can't find a seat so we turn around and go back to our favorite bar which is Steakhouse 71 downstairs. Their menu is pretty simple, they do have a pretty well stocked bar so you could order pretty much any drink you would like. They do have a menu with what they call their specialty drinks, however there's nothing super unique on there. I would love to see some sort of Spacey drink with their name being Outer Rim. They also used to have my husband's favorite bourbon flight which they have since removed. They probably realized that it was not a good value which is something we always said they were losing money on, since it was so cheap. I usually go for a chocolate martini here because they do have Mozart. They also have lots of beer and wine which is also good. The best part of this lounge is the view of the water and the view of the monorail going through the hotel. It can sometimes get loud when Chef Mickey's which is right next door gets loud. I don't really think that this is a place that you go to relax and enjoy a cocktail, as you would at Enchanted Rose at the Grand Floridian. However I think this is a good place to stop and get a drink especially if you're staying at the hotel. It's usually not very crowded, again with people who are actually having a drink at the bar. You're really just battling people waiting for their table. The servers are always very friendly and happy to chat. Overall I think this location is fine, it's not a place that we run to all the time, but if we are doing a monorail crawl we will try and stop here. We also like to come here and have a drink while we wait for bar seating at California grill, which is at the top of the contemporary. I definitely think it's worth checking out especially if you're staying there, grab a glass of wine or a beer or even a cocktail. If you're just waiting for your table at chef mickey's I think it's important to remember that outer rim is a bar/ lounge, you should not sit there to wait for your table. You are taking away tips from the server when they could be taking care of people who are actually spending money at outer rim.

As other reviews point out, the main attraction here is the theme, it truly feels like you have been transported to a scene of Pirate of a Caribbean. As soon as the doors open, the lighting is dim, the music is loud (think of a tavern) and the experience begins. I feel the best place to be seated is at the table in the middle of the bar. From there you get a great view of the show at the bar and everything else going on. I have been seated everywhere except from the map room which in my opinion is pretty cool. We had a dinner res/planned visit in November 2022 which was sidelined/greatly postponed due inclement weather produced by Hurricane Nicole. As a precaution, all dinner reservations that night after 6:00pm were cancelled (our was at 6:15pm). Thankfully, during our visit last November 2025, we were able to secure at dinner res for 6:00pm....and we hoped everything would go as planned. And rightly so, as the weather forecast was hot and sunny that day. We checked in for our dinner res about 15 minutes prior, and were able to wait in their lobby/waiting area. NOTES 1. Reservation made via the My Disney Experience App. 2. The food/menu is Thanksgiving all day everyday! It's also AYCE....with dessert included! The AYCE menu includes: 1. Declaration Salad: greens, apples, cranberries, and cheese with House-made dressing 2. Patriot's Platter: roasted turkey, pot roast, pork loin, mashed potatoes, vegetables, herbed stuffing, and mac and cheese. 3. Dessert: Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake ( vanilla toffee cake, chocolate sauce, and vanilla ice cream). 4. House-made gravy and dinner rolls. We also ordered Coke Zero for our drinks. Interestingly enough, we really enjoyed the salad, it was such a great start to the meal. We nearly finished the portion, but we absolutely wanted to save room the main dishes. The Stars (and stripes) of the meal were the turkey, pork loin, and stuffing. Honorable mention goes to the dessert! That Oooey Gooey Toffee was so good, but sadly we were so FULL by the time dessert was served. We did eat a few bites, but perhaps we should have saved more stomach space for this sweet treat. We barely touched the mac and cheese honestly. We did want to try it.....it was just ok. SERVICE Our server was a lovely older female, who was so kind and friendly to us and all the tables she was serving in our area. She had such a kind and grandmotherly attitude and aura about her. However, she sometimes forgot to bring the food and drink "refills" we requested. We probably would have had more time to enjoy our dessert if the primary food refills were given sooner. It also took a while to get the check, and we had to rush out of the restaurant to make our lightning lane reservation for Troy: Light Cycle Run. BOTTOM LINE I'm glad we finally had our long delayed meal at Liberty Tree Tavern. Was it worth the wait? I believe so. We really enjoyed the food overall. Also, I'd recommend arriving hungry or partially starving since the food is AYCE. Lastly, save room for dessert! You'll thank me later.
