First time visiting Naples and the food was phenomenal. Also budget friendly. I ordered a Churasco(Grilled Beef Skirt Steak) that came with the choice of 3 sides: I got Black Beans, Fried Plantains, and a Salad! Everything was excellent including friendly service from the owners (they are actually Colombian) and the vibe of the place was great! I would definitely recommend! 10/10

They serve nice Cuban coffees (I asked for little sugar). Juicy little empanadas with a corn crust. Their ham and cheese omelette was really good. The Cuban bread was very crusty - could have used some butter. The steak and egg breakfast was okay - a huge portion include healings of tender rice and beans. The steak is thinly pounded and a bit dry. The masa cake was great. Unpretentious little mom and pop joint. Don't expect a ton of service. Tons of people in and out to grab a quick bite or to-go coffees/snacks while we were there.

This is the best Cuban food I've ever had. The rabo encendido (oxtail) and maduros (sweet plantain) were out of this world. I kept saying, "I'm stuffed, I can't take another bite," and then I'd take one more bite.

Great variety of Colombian and Cuban classics. The pan de bono is superb! Loved the Cuban sandwich and cafe con leche. Service is always friendly and quick

Was on the fence about coming here since my husband wasn't thrilled that I made our one Cuban restaurant stop into a Cuban sandwich tour. This was a mom and pop shop (with both mom and dad working the restaurant). Got here maybe just half hour before their 3pm closing time. Ordered the half Cuban sandwich meal which came with rice and beans (the mom took my order). Looked around as we waited (admired their extensive Spanish soda collection, learned that there is actually a fruit out there called a guanabana, and contemplated getting their avocado smoothie but decided not to). As I was waiting, the pop said "hi, how are you" to me, which I made awkward since I missed it and needed him to explain what he had said to me, lol. The food came out pretty quickly. As others mentioned, their plastic wrapping is a nice touch to prevent spillage, though in my case I probably would've been ok since they put the beans in a smaller container with a lid inside the bigger container (also a nice touch). The Cuban sandwich looked small at first glance, but it was so good. So much flavor oozing from the unsuspecting sandwich! They used a good amount of cheese in the sandwich which really helped bind it. Not sure what kind of cheese they used but it was delicious. The rice and beans were both really good too (still good when we ate it cold, still good when we took the sandwich back to NY and reheated it in our toaster oven). The rice and beans were good so I'm glad I got a chance to try it, but wish I had ordered a full sandwich too since it was delicious. If I am ever back in the area, would definitely return to try other things from their menu!

I've been driving past the guy with the Mango's Cuban Cafe sign on Airport Road for a while and decided it's about time I gave them a visit. Signs of a restaurant that I'm probably going to like: * Off the beaten path * Random location * Ethnic/authentic type of joint * Portion/Cost ratios in the upper echelon * Friendly staff Mango's met that criteria and introduced me to another new dish on my life's culinary adventure. I can't even remember the name of it as I'm typing this, but if you look at my pictures, then you will see it. It reminded me of a Sope from a local taco truck. It had shredded beef on a plantain based with cheese, slaw, sauce, etc.. I don't think anything on the menu cost more than $6. Once I have a chance to try out more of the menu items, then I may up the review another star. If you haven't tried them out, then give them a shot.

So where was the roast pork in the Cuban sandwich? Am I spoiled but I thought it comes with real roasted pork in a Cuban sandwich. Do I see Processed roast pork? Maybe because of new ownership? Can anyone tell me if this is the way it's always been made.

The empanadas and Iron Beer I ate at home.

Yummy Cuban coffee! Great prices! Not a huge breakfast menu, but the food was good and a great value. Awesome small business.

We tried: empanadas, arepas and the cachapa, since the owner mentioned they are really good and I'm very picky about Cachapas since I consider mine are the best. Well, the service was pleasant, the owner's daughter did the majority of the job and then the grandmother arrived to start cooking. I didn't like the food, probably because I cook a lot, but they fried our arepas, HUGE mistake, my husband ordered with pernil and he didn't like the flavor, mine The Reina pepiada, tooo much mayonnaise, no flavor in the chicken and the mixture was made just right away so it was not well prepared. The empanadas where ok and of course I didn't like the cachapas at all. No taste of sweet corn. I wish the best since it is a family business but honestly it needs better recipes and not excuses to prepared them accordingly.

After having come across their Instagram account some time ago, we've talked about eating at this…read moresemi-permanent food truck often, but just haven't been able to get there. After months of drooling over their posts, we finally made it happen and it did not disappoint. I (JH) have never had Venezuelan food before so I wasn't sure what to get. After the kind gentleman explained the menu items to us, I ended up with a Cachapa with ham. In full disclosure I don't know what a cachapa is "supposed" to taste like so I have no baseline to compare it to, but as far as flavor goes, this was fantastic. The outside reminded me of a thinner, slightly crispier arepa. The sweet corn wasn't too sweet and the butter gave it a great sweet/salty combo. The inside is filled with what's called De Mano cheese...think of it like a mozzarella type cheese. And boy did they fill it! In addition to the cheese I added ham, but I could have gone with smoked pork, steak, more cheese, sausage, etc. AND I could have gotten as many meats as I wanted to, they're just all an up charge...obviously. I (JD) had the UBF Burger and it was fantastic. This monster comes with Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese, Bacon , Egg, Cabbage, Potato Chips, Ketchup, Mayo, Mustard, Pink Sauce, Green Sauce, and a side of delicious fries. When a sandwich has things like "pink sauce" and "green sauce" listed, count me in! The burger was massive. I got the double beef, but you can customize from a single to a quad, as well as pick one of their other meat options (see JH's review for list). The "potato chips" are the delicious little potato sticks and they were a nice addition to the sandwich. Their French fries were amazing. I don't know if they put a really lite breading on them, but they had a delightful little crispness to them. Not listed on the menu is a house made drink described to us as kind of a sweet tea/lemonade, but they use real tea leaves, cane sugar and other ingredients that weren't listed, but tasted differently wonderful. They have 6 covered and lit picnic tables which was good, but being that the truck is located on Bayshore road across from the North Fort Myers Wal-Mart, you do hear quite a bit of traffic, though that didn't seem to interrupt our conversations at all so it's not too intrusive. It wasn't what we would consider cheap as our orders totaled about $24 each, but it's a food truck and we expect to pay a little more. At UBF, we're happy to do so and support them making delicious food. Make sure you check their hours before you go though, they aren't open everyday. But we definitely recommend you go!
