Saw the positive reviews so I thought I would pop by for a smoothie. Well, order ahead or don't be in a hurry as there are only 2 people working here. Very friendly but disorganized. Separate entrance from the outside is convenient and plenty of parking in front of the iheart building where the cafe is located. Seems to be popular for BLT and Cuban type sandwiches. Smoothie menu lists yogurt but they do not have any yogurt. Strike 1. When I address it ( after the smoothie is made) , I am informed that they have yogurt. Add a few minutes to waiting time for this to be completed. Strike 2 Smoothie is ok, would not go out of my way again to eat here.

Cute cafe! It is in an industrial park. Look for the banners out front. We came here on a Saturday for breakfast. Hubby and I both got the bacon, egg, and grilled cheese. Sandwich has two eggs on it. It was really big. Hubby and I could have shared one. It was really good. There are plenty of other breakfast options. Owners were very nice. I would eat here again

Great flavor on the Cuban sandwich. Price was a little higher than I would prefer to pay for a sandwich though they offer a discount to local businesses so that helped.

Delicious Cuban here! Loved how efficient they were and the variety of options. Plenty of parking near by since it's at the bottom of the office building. Plenty of outdoor space or I door during the lunch hour. Honestly surprised they weren't busier.

This is a hidden gem run by Dan, a true craftsman who has assembled a menu with his own creative spin on some classics. You could really tell how much he cares about each detail of the food that he will be serving just by the way he was running the kitchen. All of the ingredients in El Cubano were of great quality, and due to my obsession with Ryebread, I opted for that little change, and it made for the best Cuban I've ever had. It was loaded with meat and flavor, even some salami which gave it a nice touch. My wife ordered the smoked salmon croissant which was also the best I've ever had of this style by far! It was so good I almost got so lost in the flavor that I forgot I was driving. The croissant was perfectly toasted and topped with an over easy egg, avocado, pickled onion, cream cheese, of course some serious quality smoked salmon, and a special touch of craisins which gave it the sweet and salty that makes me salivate just thinking about it. Both of our sandwiches were so heavenly that we had to come back for the same order and regretted not making it back a third time, but definitely will next time we're in town. Dans passion for his creations shine through so obviously in the quality of the product, also in the way he described how to cook the egg with like four different adjectives to make sure it was done perfectly the way my wife wanted it. I had no clue you could describe how to cook an egg so in depth lol I had the opportunity to have a nice conversation with Dan and it's clear that he's generally just a great person which makes you want to support that much more. Many places serve great food but when the owner cares to get to know his clients and add to the experience it can almost feel like you're visiting a friend and this couldn't be a better example. With this good spirit, which reflects in his work and his demeanor, Dan will find success in whatever endeavor he chooses to pursue. It was a pleasure. Natasha who seemed to be the backbone of the kitchen also seemed to be such a nice person, ask her about her delicious cachapas! Tin, the new manager/owner has also setup a great Groupon deal. You can't go wrong here!

I had the green smoothie (not the name, but close) last week and was oddly satisfied, the ingredients were fresh and very tropical. So I thought I give them a try with the food, I had the Cuban sandwich, you can really taste the slow-cooked pork is the star here, enhanced by a tangy marinade, simple condiments, and, of course, cheese. The owners is really personable and genuine. Great customer service, I will be a regular.

Host was nice and friendly. He walked us to our tables and got our menus off the wall. Coffee serving was big. Food came out fast after we ordered our food. It's a small kind of like a local diner. Cost wise for each person's meal was not that expensive. It was home comfort food that hit the spot for us. We were fortunate to get seated right away and avoid long waits to be seated at other places. .

The location alone makes it a convenient and easy choice if you're staying nearby or heading out for a morning walk along the beach. Breakfast was exactly what you hope for at a casual beachside café. We had coffee, an egg sandwich with bacon, and a Western omelet with cheese. Everything was cooked fresh and made to order, and it definitely hit the spot to start the day. Simple, satisfying breakfast food done well. The service was great--friendly, attentive, and welcoming without feeling rushed. It's the kind of place where the staff makes you feel comfortable right away. Another thing that stood out was the pricing. For a beach location, the prices are very fair, which makes it an even better value considering the quality of the food and the location. If you're looking for a relaxed, no-frills breakfast with good food, great service, and an awesome location near the beach, Beach Shanty Cafe is well worth stopping by.

Literally thought that I might have been in heaven. We got the outdoor seating (why wouldn't you) and we had a great view of the water. The service was really good and they were hospitipal. The view of the water was really nice and there were birds flying above the water. I also liked the humor that they had. Hung all around the restaurant were funny signs that said things like "No one cares about your diet, just eat your salad and be sad" or "If I agreed with you then we would both be wrong" Even the menu was funny. It said "Maggies Rules: #1.) Be patient! This is Florida. we don't get in too much of a hurry over anything! #2.) If you are mean and grouchy, Maggie collects a $10 cover charge!!! Please identify yourself! #5.) Unattended children will be given an espresso, loads of sugar and a FREE puppy! (We forgot rules 3 & 4)" As you can tell they have a great sense of humor. Anyway, I would 100% recommend this even if you have to drive a few hours. IT WAS SO GOOD!!!!!!

The brussel sprouts appetizer is HUGE. It was double the size I have received at other places, so took some back to the hotel for leftovers. They also came with a tasty dipping sauce that was unique as well. The Caesar salad was neutral; no strong flavor yet not distasteful. No anchovies taste either. I could take it or leave it. The filet steak was tender served over some mashed potatoes and thick asparagus wrapped in salty, yummy bacon. The smoky old fashioned and expresso martini (with Baileys added extra!) drinks were tasty. Make a reservation online and Uber/Lyft if you are close as it's easy in and out!

Breakfast pizza was surprisingly great and enough for two people to split. Service at breakfast was fantastic. The coffee was always flowing and the servers were always smiling. The atmosphere and ambience are OK. I don't love the vibe, as it felt like a dated dining room experience. But Food was still great.
