WAS my go to for pizza, until today. They employ a delivery driver that parks in a handicap parking spot in front of the pizzeria (1:59pm). The only one in the area. Does he do this frequently and will he continue to this...most likely. Legal parking spot 10-15 feet away. Older, grey Ford Taurus...very, very irresponsible and illegal. The pizzas were a hit at the party! I ordered the Manhattan Supreme and the Vegetarian with extra parsley, oregano, basil and -- most importantly -- garlic. Very pleased to discover the garlic was not garlic powder or garlic granules but REAL garlic. Plus, they were very generous with the toppings. Both pizzas were delicious. 9/18/2023 walked in around 1:30pm. There were a few people eating. Had to use the restroom after a long drive, as I walked back the hallway it smelled like cat piss! Opened the door to the men's room, some large dude is sitting there sweating and grunting, apparently he forgot to lock the door! So I used the ladies room which was very dirty and smelled. Anyway, so I went out and looked at the menu to see what they had. Here comes old boy out of the bathroom holding his stomach like he's in pain and wouldn't you know he walks right behind the counter! I said "O Hell No" and walked out!!! I go here about twice a month for their Grilled Chicken Garden Salad ($13 with drink & tax), which is always different and always tastes delicious. I may have twice as much chicken on one order than I had on an order of mine two weeks earlier. I am always interested in see what I will receive on my next order. I also believe they have some of the best pizzas in town, it they don't burn the pizza crust. My favorite pizza is from Joe & Vinnie's in Warrenton but that is a totally different review. Orders (I'm back to Manhattan) are promptly served and wait staff/servers are very friendly and helpful. Last night I had a hankering for a Hawaiian style pizza. It was around 8:00 on a Sunday night in a very sleepy little town during a Pandemic so I called a locally owned chain that I knew was probably open. I was not disappointed. This was my first experience with Manhattan for pizza, I think we went once for subs when they first opened but it didn't wow us and we had never been back. So back to what I was saying.... my pizza hit the spot. I had four slices and promptly went to bed. Happy. Satisfied. Five stars. Now my husband on the other hand has decided to become a Vegan. When I called I asked if they had any vegan pizza options, of course they didn't and that was fine, I knew we could wing it....so we did. I chose a large olive oil, basil based pizza, no cheese (I actually insisted they put that cheese on mine ) and just loaded with veggies and asked for the tomato sauce on the side. Pretty standard, right? Well my total came to $67. That's right! $67 for two large pizzas. So I was surprised but still willing to give it a go, I like to support local, it's a pandemic....I feel like they could have worked with me on it and brought the price down but my husband deserves good food too, even if it's boring plants, so I went for it. When I got there to pick up the pizzas, (I'd had time to think about my impulsive $67 purchase), I did ask, perhaps if we had started with a fully loaded veggie pizza and just added the additional veggies, could it have been cheaper? The very nice gentleman who had taken my call in order, did indeed play along to see if that would have in fact, helped a little, while the other person cashed me out. After I cash out and leave an $8 tip, (I was feeling cheap at this point), it was carry out after all, did the other gentleman say that yes, it could have saved me at least $5. I let it slide but it would have been a nice gesture if he would have at least refunded that back to my card? I don't know, it's my own fault, I loaded that veggie pizza up with some seriously premium veggies I guess! If I could give negative stars I would. This place is absolutely disgusting and the staff is a huge joke. Dan the manager is beyond rude and does not care about the place or the customers. This is the 2nd time, we've had your food in 2 years. Now, we know why. All the food was absolutely, sub par at best. My teeny, tiny salad was warm, with wilted lettuce, because it was in with the warm food...cost $7.49. $2.00 more I could've got a huge fresh grilled chicken salad from Texas Roadhouse. The kids tenders tasted freezer burnt. The pizza, barely lukewarm and blah. And, delivery was almost an hour, that's 5 mins away for 3 items. We decided we would try this place out for a late lunch. There was only two other people there so I got to order immediately. I ordered eggplant Parm has been ordered chicken Parm inserting a nice booth. food came hot is it didn't take too long. It was fresh eggplant Parm was out of this world great, french fries were amazing crispy brown on the outside and nice and warm soft on the inside. My husband said the chicken Parm was fantastic. I called and complained and the manager said, oh, ok thank you. I should have Yelped them first... Looks like I'm not trying anything else from them. Been coming here for years today was the far worst experience. The young lady at the counter no customer service skills at all. She made it seem as if we were bothering her by coming she would not speak to us at all seemed very irritated. Had her head phones in on her phone. When she brought our food to us she never said one word dropped the food and walked away never checked on us. Another employee was asleep in a both behind us. I first want to say that this is my favorite pizza place in Warrenton Virginia. Unfortunately I ordered a delivery and the cook, delivery preparer and delivery driver all didn't see that my BLT had way more fat than it did bacon. (see the attached pics) I called the restaurant back, and the manager was polite & willing to resend a BLT sandwich to my home or just offer me a sandwich credit if I go back into the store. I agreed to just receive a credit for a sandwich if I physically go back to the store. Although these are probably the only fixes he can really perform for me, I felt it necessary to post this because no cook, preparer or other staffer should have ever sent a sandwich that looked like that. I wanted to text or email the pictures to the manager, as proof, so he could use it as a training tool or just so he could have the same shock factor as I did when I opened my BLT...but he was either too busy or disinterested in seeing the picture. Ultimately there's no satisfaction for me, because I have to go back into the store to get a credit for any sandwich on the menu (as I paid for the delivery in cash). Oh well... Ok so it's a solid pizza joint. Crust was a dough lover's delight but unfortunately it didn't have much flavor. The cheese pizza was better than dominos level so it's OK. The garlic knots, while a little burnt, in spots were good but far from phenomenal. The saving grace was the BBQ Chicken Pizza. This thing was on point. I'd be excited to try a few more of these specialty pizzas based on this one. Fresh tomatoes, chicken, red peppers, and onion rested nicely on top of a cheese bed resting on a sweet BBQ sauce. It was a beautiful symphony of flavors until you hit that crust. Delivered in 45 minutes on a Friday was impressive. They currently have limited seating, because of state Covid regulations. I have no idea of their prices, I just order what I want, and then I pay their price. I have never seen a menu price list. My receipt never lists the prices of my individual purchases, it only gives me the total cost. I normally have the green garden salad with grilled chicken with Caesar dressing. It has always been very tasty and the amount of chicken has varied from time to time. This time, fortunately, they gave me a very generous serving of grilled chicken strips for my salad. The strips are very tasty. Drinks are from the push button soda machine and they do have brewed sweet and unsweet tea next to their soda machine. Their service is when you order at the counter, and when they bring the food to your table. That's it. While I was there, most of their orders were take-out. I have always enjoyed their food and their portions vary from day to day. If you need to know the price of their food items, ask their cashier at the counter. Their pizzas are consistently tasty with a great tasting dough. Their other dishes have never been a disappointment for me. This is a nice pace to stop for a quick meal. read more

After a day spent leaf-peeping on Shenandoah's Skyline Drive, we were feeling reaaaaally hungry, and I in particular was craving something cheesy, greasy, and satisfying. The solution, of course - pizza! Manhattan Pizza seemed to be the best bet for us to hit up on our way back to DC, so we made a little detour for some hot and fresh 'za. The place is new - and feels very new. Staff was polite and our pie was ready pretty quickly. The pizza itself is decent; it hit the spot for sure, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. If anything, it was a bit too chewy for me, and slightly too heavy on the cheese. But overall, it was pretty good, and a fine price too ($12.99 for a large). One complaint is that the ice tea was totally warm, ewww. There was only one other table of patrons when we came in (early evening on a Sunday), but there were plenty of people coming in and out to pick up pies. read more
