Came here for brunch looking for Filipino breakfast while in the area, and came across a pretty nice and welcoming Filipino establishment! Staff and even just people eating here were all so friendly and kind! There were lots of snacks and smaller food options around, as well as a bigger food bar to order from. Honestly, food wise everything was so good! The chicken was nice and charred on some bits which I love the most. I like lumpia when it's crunchy, so I would've just wanted it to be a bit more, but nothing an air fryer can't fix taking it to go! It was still tasty to have. We love coming here especially if I really am lazy to cook Filipino food. Every dish I have gotten, I've really enjoyed. We don't eat dinuguan as often, but when we do this is the place to get it. Went to try this place since it was highly recommended by my cousin. I ordered lumpia, bbq to try. Both were fresh and favorful. For Christmas, we ordered a tray of beef steak. It was super fresh, meat was tender and flavor just right. Now I have a go-to for tray orders for our parties. They do not cook a lot of food so when you come late in the day/near closing, there is not much left, but that's ok, you know they will not reheat and resell left overs the next day. I was missing home so I ordered from here via doordash and lemme tell you I almost cried because they make beef stroganoff exactly like how my mom makes it. I tried so many times to recreate it unsuccessfully and I am so happy I got to taste it again. I got pork nilaga, chicken Afritada and the stir fried sayote as well. Wifey and I were in search of some authentic home style Filipino eats for Filipino American History Month (FAHM) and we knew this was the place to check out. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, this spot doubles as a mini mart and a restaurant all in one! They have about 3-4 tables for seating surrounded by a bunch of packaged goodies. In the front, they have their section of all their hot foods for the day. I would definitely recommend coming earlier in the day as most of the popular stuff may be bought out. Wifey and I opted to get a la carte orders of the Chicken Skin, BBQ Chicken Skewers, Bicol Express, Sitaw, and Ginataang Bilo Bilo. Everything we had hit the spot and was perfect paired with some home cooked garlic rice! Overall, this spot is definitely a gem for those in South OC craving for some authentic and comforting Filipino eats! All of the staff here are beyond friendly and welcoming. I was wanting to try authentic Filipino food and saw this gem on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I got the two items combo ($13.99 in October 2024) and opted for half rice/half pancit with lechon (+$1) and stir fry beef (don't know the official name). Both were good but the beef and the sauce were delishhh over rice. Pro tip - keep the leftover sauce (I poured it over cooked diced potatoes the next day at home ). Pancit was really good as well! Lechon was decent (meat was tender inside), but felt overly salty (not sure if this is just how lechon is supposed to taste, as it's my first trying it lol). Lastly, finished with some halo halo, with the bomb ube ice cream mixed in. I'll def come back here next time Im craving Filipino food. read more

I got the 2-combo plate with a fried tilapia dish and a hearty beef stew (I didn't catch the exact names, but both were delicious!). It came with a mix of rice and noodles, and the portions were pretty solid--definitely worth the price. The lady behind the counter was super kind and helpful since I was new here. She helped recommend what to get, which made things way easier. On top of the hot food, they also have a nice selection of Filipino snacks, drinks, and pantry items if you're looking to stock up on some goodies. This place has been renovated and still has a little market and a place to get some combinations of Philippino food. I came here to get some quick food and check out their different dishes. I decided to try a 2 item combo with half rice and Pancit (noodles). As for the items I had to get the Lechon (crispy pork) which is alway a delicious option and also their Beef adobo. Along with it I got one of their soursop drinks cause it just sounded great. The lechon was good along with the sauce that it came with. I enjoyed the pancit as well as the beef adobo but one thing that made it slight hard for me to finish my entire dish was the fact that the food was luke warm. It was almost hard for me to finish specially the beef adobo because the fat in the meat was almost cold so it has turned a little too jelly like and that was not a good texture. Either way this place has good potential if they atleast check temperature of their dishes. Everyone working seemed nice and enthusiastic at the shop but this place can do much much better with little more attention to their food. read more

I had actually forgotten I'd been here before. I came to write a review and realized I'd been here before, 15 years ago. This isn't the same place as I remembered. It's new, clean, and the food we got was decent. I was so happy to see pinakbet on the steam table. That's one of my favorite Filipino dishes. I also got milkfish and pancit. The complimentary soup was lovely and tart, reminiscent of sinigang. My cousins got skewers, fried anchovies and lumpia. I enjoyed the anchovies as they weren't super salty. I never knew this place existed until recently. It says they've been there for 2 years I think. But they were tucked away and a small shopping center that is currently undergoing renovations on the exterior so it's hard to find. I went in the morning so I wasn't hungry for lunch but did grab a few snacks for me and the kids. I got them chicken empanadas which look good but haven't tried them yet as they're still at school... I'm saving them for the kids. Got an order of siu mai (they call sio mai), lumpia and a bottle of Ube flavoring . Their siu mai smaller than you would get at dim sum. The skins are a little gummy probably from sitting on the steamer plate and they are a little salty but I love all dumplings so I would probably get them again if I was there. The lumpia are small and tasty but honestly are a little skimpy on the meat compared to what I'm use to. In fact one of them didn't even have any meat at all! You can see the picture below. I'm excited to use the Ube flavoring to flavor lattes as I am obsessed with all things Ube. They have a pretty good selection in their Market section with lots of delicious looking pastries and bread rolls. And if you're looking for Ube flavored ice cream they sell it by the carton! Very clean inside friendliest staff. I cannot wait to go back and try their Halo Halo which is one of my favorite desserts. read more

I purchased a Too Good To Go order for $15 worth of food for $4.99. Location and atmosphere feel fine. I received a bag with a to go box of 2 scoops of rice, 6 pieces of lumpia and a small serving of Chicken Ginataang Langka (Jackfruit in Coconut Milk). The chicken was mostly bones but the flavor was good. The lumpia was the star of this surprise plate. Service was decent, many customer were there eating halo-halo for $7.50 + tax. read more

Sisig we ordered was cold and oil clumping. Kaldereta was lukewarm. Both tasted good just needs to be served hot or add a heat lamp in their food warming system that seems to be an issue. Will give it a 2nd try for the other dish selection and the halo halo. No Sarsi, No Royal Tru Orange, No 100% Coconut Juice, and I didn't see any Casava Cake. Stars for service, cleanliness and no sticky table and floors. Other food looks promising but servings is less than the "other" place and "to go"styrofoam food capacity is a suspect. read more

Lechon kawali is not crunchy they said its newly cooked at 11am but it tasted old and the skin is like a chewy gum. Lentils, (mongo) too soupy supposed to be thick its like heated 3 times . The place is clean, not loud but the food i hope they can cook the way real filipino cook it. read more
