The sullungtang here is soo good. I ate it for dinner on a rainy day when I was sick and it completely hit the spot. Their radish banchan is my favorite and their soy sauce dip for the meat is so good I wish I could buy it separately. The only thing I would recommend is checking your order before you leave if you order to go. Sometimes the lady forgets things like utensils or soondae...

Beef bone soup (sol-lung-tang)

We had the sollungtang here twice. My mom liked it a lot -- she thought the broth was rich and the meat was very tender. My wife had it another time and she said the broth was a little sweet (odd, it's not supposed to be sweet at all) and didn't like it So, 3 stars on balance between the 2 different experiences

Top notch - great tasting food. Very generous portions as well, especially 회덥밥 . Highly recommended

Delicious meals from Tang Baan! So far we tried 4 different ones and they all hit the spot. Unagi plate, sashimi bibimbap, bulgogi bibimbap, and galbi tang with Napa cabbage. Fast, friendly service as well. Prices are decent and portions are very filling. Service is fast and friendly.

4. beef bone and meat soup with brisket

A convenient choice for comforting Korean soup! It's located in the H-Mart food court, with plenty of seating and very quick service. I ordered the #4, beef bone and meat soup with brisket, and it came with a generous amount of meat and tendon, as well as complimentary banchan side dishes like kimchi and radish. It was enough food that I was able to take the leftovers home and make another meal with it. Overall I would come back!

Cashier said cook got confused with another dish #29 vs #26. Regardless, the amount of spam was minuscule. It was the cashier's second day on the job so he didn't check the order before bagging. I'm waiting for my refund.

Come here for the beef bine broth soup only...everything else is a gamble. We decided to try this new place since my wife is on a bone broth kick right now, and we thought it would hit the spot since it was quite foggy and chilly this morning. The beef bone broth soup tasted phenomenal. It was warm, it was soothing, and the meat was quite tender. The portion was a bit small though, and it didn't come with any noodles or much else other than broth and bits of meat. It came with 4 bits of banchan (pickled radish squares, kimchi, fish cake, pickled onion) and rice. The banchan was good, but not excellent, but it hit the right spot for a soup lunch on a brisk day. The beef short rib BBQ was lacking, particularly for the most expensive item on the menu. It only came with two banchan (kimchi and fish cake), so the owner felt a bit bad and threw in some rice for us. The taste wasn't particularly phenomenal or that impressive, and it was actually dripping a bit from how much sauce they added to it. It was OK, just not very impressive--particularly for that $30+ price tag. The seafood pancake was sorely lacking. It was crispy in some areas, but undercooked in other areas, and extremely chewy and a bit raw-tasting in other areas. There was also much too much green onion compared to any other ingredient, so much so that the pancake tasted more like a green onion pancake than a seafood pancake. One thing that was nice is that they have a free beef bone broth deal right now for their grand opening. All in all, I sorely regret ordering anything other than their beef bone dishes. I would have rather gotten four beef bone dishes with different kinds of meats than what we ordered.

Just mind blowing food. I've had beef bone soup with mixed beef meat twice and the taste was like a rainbow. Taste, quality, price, and freshness.

Beef bone & meat soup

Food was decent. Got the beef bone and meat soup. It was really bland. Had to ask for more hot sauce and salt. Cucumber banchan tasted old. Kimchi and the radish were good though.

I got a take out but rice has mold. The bottom part of rice color changed to yellow and smell weird.

Amazing food and service for a reasonable price. Stopped by after grocery shopping. Highly recommend the galbi tang.

We finally gave it a shot today. We ordered the steamed pork belly, cold noodles, and the galbi soup. The food was very good. My mom was quite happy with the cold noodles and my kids consumed every drop of the galbi soup. My dad and I had the steamed pork belly and we agreed that it was pretty good. The part I want to really emphasize was the service. The young man that took care of us was very attentive and most importantly, treated my kids so well. He provided them with all their usual needs like plastic silverware, extra bowls for soup, and even offered extra soup when he saw that they devoured the galbi soup. He went out of his way to give them some BTS Edition Oreos and little bags with stickers in them. I am always very grateful anytime people take care to treat my kids well. I'm glad we decided to give this spot a try.

They even make their own kimchi and my husband even said their kimchi is the best he's had in a restaurant. The braised short rib was great and came with tons of toppings like glass noodles and kabocha. Lastly the army stew was the perfect dish to tie everything together. It was rich and just lightly spicy. Definitely need to come with at least 4 people to be able to try everything! We came as a family of 4 and it was the perfect amount of food. There was only one server but he was great and would constantly come and tell us if the stew was ready or to refill banchans.

The food is consistently solid, the banchan is a standout, and the whole experience always feels fun and easy. I tried the raw marinated crab for the first time here, and it was so flavorful and honestly tasted amazing. It is definitely a little messy to eat, but I would absolutely order it again. The short ribs are usually my go-to and were great as usual. I will say BCD Tofu House probably has them beat when it comes to LA galbi specifically, but these still hit the spot. The bulgogi was also a solid addition to the table. One of my favorite parts of coming here is the banchan. The sides always taste super fresh, feel a little more unique than the usual lineup, and seem to change depending on the season or what they are featuring. The mac salad and japchae are always favorites for me, and you really cannot go wrong with the kimchi or cucumber kimchi either. Service is consistently quick, easy, and attentive. Inside, the neon lighting gives it a fun, inviting vibe that feels like a little slice of Korea. Great choice when you want a lively dinner with friends or just want to switch up family night out.

This isn't the place for trendy fusion dishes or flashy presentation; it's all about hearty Korean comfort food that feels especially satisfying on a cold day. My go-to Korean dishes are Yukgaejang and Bossam. The spicy beef soup is usually my benchmark for any Korean restaurant. Tang 190's version delivered everything I look for: a rich, deeply flavored broth with a satisfying level of spice and plenty of tender beef throughout. It's the kind of soup that keeps me coming back. This last visit, I finally got to try their pork and kimchi platter. The pork itself was tender and enjoyable, but I wasn't a fan of the cabbage. Instead of being lightly pickled with salt, it had been fermented to the point where it resembled white kimchi. I've actually never seen it made like this before. I definitely prefer the fresher, crisper flavor profile to pair with the pork and radish, so this preparation didn't quite work. Service was efficient, and the meal arrived quickly. On any other day, it's usually a 5 star visit, but the bossam preparation was a huge miss for me. While prices have crept up over the years, Tang 190 still does what it does best: serving comforting, no-frills Korean food that consistently hits the spot.

I have always really liked this restaurant, which is why today's experience was especially disappointing. Unfortunately, what happened today was truly awful. From the beginning, our server appeared visibly impatient. When we repeated a couple of dish names to make sure the order was correct, she began speaking to us in an unnecessarily loud and irritated tone. Her voice was loud enough that another employee noticed the situation and offered to take over the order. Instead of accepting the help professionally, our server responded that the other employee would not be able to understand what she had written in Korean. When the other employee later asked her to repeat our order, she read it back very loudly and with obvious anger. The entire restaurant could hear her, and the experience made our whole family feel embarrassed and extremely uncomfortable, especially since we had children with us. Later, she seemed to realize that her behavior had affected us. She brought us a noodle dish "on the house" and briefly said sorry. While we appreciated the gesture, it did not undo the way we were treated in front of the entire restaurant. My question is: if you knew your behavior required an apology afterward, why treat customers that way in the first place? Customers should not be made to feel like an inconvenience simply because they are dining with a larger group or placing a larger order. We came to enjoy a family meal, not to be spoken to with hostility and publicly embarrassed. Unfortunately, this experience completely overshadowed the food.

They have a good amount of seating. Restroom was very clean. Service was good, I had no issues. Please be patient with the staff as English is not some of their dominant languages. Staff was trying their best to help everyone. They were constantly checking in on us, refilling our Banchan, I thought they did great. Food was yummy and portions were huge! You saw the chunks of garlic, they were generous on the meat and the bowl was huge. I had beef spicy tofu soup and that was delicious and so filling. They were extremely generous on the tofu and I felt like I definitely got my protein intake in. The spice was just right, it looks so red but it wasn't that bad! I would definitely come back.
