I absolutely LOVE everything about getting my gel x manicures done at Clawz By Goddess. First off- she has your best interest in mind. She takes the necessary time to evaluate your nail health and modify your services to help improve the longevity of your manicures. She carefully soaks off work done by other nail techs, and tells you exactly what they did incorrectly and she details how it should have been done. This has allowed the strength and color of my nails to thrive. It took time to repair, but going to Maria is what fully fortified my nails and nail beds to be their absolute best. Second, her design and creative skills are out of this world! The amount of precision and attention to detail she has when she paints your nails- she's a nail tech and gifted nail artist as well! Her and I love to brainstorm (ahead of time of course, so that my appointments are efficient) and personalize designs according to the mood/color/vibe I'm feeling for that day. Quality - Elena (sp?) did my biogel removal portion. Beforehand, I communicated with her that parts of my nails are sensitive to drilling, so she was gentle. She was considerate to just drill the top layer rather than drilling everything and soaked off the rest of the biogel underneath - so that it could be less drilling for me which I appreciated. Then Dora completed my Dazzle Dry manicure portion. They were closing early that day, but she still tried to take her time. She also explained to me that very thin parts of the biogel was best to leave there for now since the layer was really close to my nail to drill and therefore would drill directly on my thin nail -I always appreciate a little nail health education. It is day 4 now so far and hasn't chipped. The biogel I've had for the past few months is obviously much more smoother, cleaner, and prettier application and than Dazzle Dry lol but Dazzle Dry is a decent option for its staying power. Dazzle dry appearance looks more like a 3/5, like it's fine, nothing amazing but Dora and Elena as workers are 5/5. Vibe - was a busy Friday during rush hour before the holiday weekend, there were more clients than usual and they were closing early too. Another client called for an appt and came really late so she was turned away because it was nearing closing time. My advice would be to use the Fresha app and stick to the time slot you scheduled.
