I've given this place a few tries to make sure that it wasn't a fluke, but every single time I get gels here they barely last a week. This time, they didn't make it 5 days. I won't be back. The edges are never properly sealed and they rush the job and don't let each layer cure long enough. I've had longer lasting manicures with traditional polish. I also hate that they aggressively grind off old polish rather than letting you soak. Take a look at the photo - you can see how fresh the polish is because there is no growth at the cuticle line. I'm just tired of throwing money away and wasting time sitting for an improperly applied manicure. read more

The nail polish kept coming out streaky so she painted three coats. After an hour of drying time the nail polish completely smudged. I came the next day and asked them to redo it and the nail Tech got upset with me and argued that it was my fault. She wanted to charge me $20 to fix it. Below is the example of color I wanted , looks nothing like the reference photo. For those saying my nail bed is too short? Okay and? I see plenty of great work with short nail beds. I work in the medical field and I can't have long nails SO this should be communicated if she can't do it. OMG Nail salon on Charleville/South Beverly Drive is the newest and latest nail salon to open in BH. Initially was reluctant to come here, due to the posted bogus reviews from questionable reviewers, which Yelp's auto bots flagged and segregated. Also, there are no spa tubs for a Full Service pedicure, which I prefer when getting both a gel mani and pedi. And with the very limited staff of nail techs, it's less likely you can have two techs work on you simultaneously to speed things up. But after a few visits, I can confidently recommend having what I had: my natural nails done for a gel mani and a polish change pedi which I have had positive experiences. First, the shop was new and clean and hope it maintained at that status quo. I was accommodated with my civilized service dog furbabe Fendi to sit next to me, just as she always does at every nail salon I go to, or I will walk out. Annie(the younger female tech) was great for a pedi polish change. On a previous visit with another tech(an older female tech), my pedicure was Not satisfactory, despite added services for the pedi service, the end result was subpar and I subsequently had to have a revised pedi service at one of my regular Full Service spa, so I cannot recommend a pedicure here. Of the the nail techs, Jack is excellent for the gel mani. He was detail and meticulous with my cuticles and my natural nails gel mani...the end result was satisfactory and worthy of my recommendation. I like the fact they use Non Toxic products! Currently, the shop is offering a grand opening promo 20% discount for a limited time, which might be an incentive to try this new, clean nail salon, but staffing is very Limited and they get booked, you must call to schedule an appointment! This shop conveniently accepts Epay, ApplePay and cash...most nail salons only accept only cash, which is a major inconvenience. Parking at the BH public structure 1 hour free or limited street meter parking. As I have observed, Walk ins for nail service usually don't get immediate service, due to Limited, short staff of personnel, again, just call and book an appointment and support this local small business. read more

What can I say except...FINALLY!!! First off I called an hour before closing and they said I could still come in even though I needed to get a fill on my gel-x nails(pretty time consuming). This amazing woman stayed a whole extra hour after closing to finish my nails with care and thoughtfulness. I truly appreciate the quality, professionalism and care she put into my nails. Uhmmm mistreated? How? I even gave a 40$ tip to Robin for her patience and trying to diligently create the look I wanted. Meanwhile it is you, owner who mistreated you clients that day for having no AC on in the hottest day of summer. You also mistreat your staff in this way as the salon was considered inhabitable. You also charge same price, as the rest of salon around you with comfortable chairs and working Ac. Which is not fair. You should at least tell people making the appointment about the issue because your staff were saying it wasn't a new issue. I don't usually leave reviews but I thought it was time to review this salon. I've been coming here for about a year now. I initially came because it's conveniently located close to my work, but I've come to love coming here. I always make an appointment and they always take very good care of me regardless of who does my nails. I'm not a big talker so it's a plus to me that they always have tv shows playing on the background and I do not feel the time going as I enjoy watching the shows as my nails are getting done.
