We stopped in today when we saw the Grand Opening Sign and glad we did. We were looking for maybe a burger, pizza or pasta. After quickly being greeted and made to feel welcome by Erin, we were seated and told about the specials which all sounded good. She showed us a dish she was serving which was on special. A large grilled piece of Salmon with Mushroom Risotto and buttered baby asparagus and then you get a salad with your choice of dressing. We chose Ranch. The meal was excellent from start to finish accompanied by attentive Erin who has a great personality. A plus. They have coupons too. I moved to the area 2 1/2 years ago. This has been my go to for Pizza and sandwiches. They've raised their prices,and also charge a 1.25 fee for using a credit card. They're also cheating on the amount of meat they put in your sandwich . Take a look at the last sandwich I'll ever buy from them ! I have been ordering from Mannino's for 6 years literally from the day I bought my house in Pottstown. There have been some "hiccups" in service/food sometimes but last week was the last straw. First off I ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas and got 1 pepperoni and 1 cheese. Then I ordered fettucine alfredo and got it with broccoli and chicken in it when we ordered plain. The ordering process on their website is now "sneaky as shit"!!!! Had the order ready (mind you I ordered online and was picking up at their location) and it would not let me continue until I left a tip. Wait what? I tried tabbing through, I tried entering 0 and the only way I could continue was to leave a $5 tip. Absolute final straw, they now have it on their website that when your order is ready for pick up you get a text. Got the text, went to get it and got told we hit that button by accident and had to wait another 20 minutes. Sorry Mannino's there are at least 4 good pizza shops within 1/2 mile of yours and you have lot a customer! read more

We've really been trying to find a great local pizza spot, so we gave Mannino's a try. We spent over $40, and ordered a variety to try- a cheesesteak (on garlic bread), a chicken parm sandwich, a cheese&garlic slice, an appetizer platter, and a couple pieces of cheesecake. The hot food was pretty good overall, and I will admit I loved the mini tacos in the appetizer platter. Online ordering was easy (although there was some confusion at pickup). However, the cheesecakes we ordered weren't in the order when we got home, so we had to go back to get them. That happens, no major big deal. But when I attempted to eat a slice of the cheesecake, there were rings of onions in it! I honestly don't know what to say. I've never heard of that before, and it certainly didn't taste good, so I can't imagine it was intentional, but if it was unintentional that's even worse. So, I hate to say it but we probably won't return or order again in the future. Our quest continues. read more

I love going here. They are right down the street from me. They are always so friendly and their food is really good. If you want a great cheesesteak stromboli, look no further. Stopped in for lunch today and Wow! I got the personal pepperoni pizza for $6.99 and my husband had the Ruben with fries for $6.99. Both came with our choice of canned soda. When our lunches arrived at our table we were awed by the size. My personal pizza was 10.5 inches in diameter vs. the typical 6 inches, providing 6 good sized slices. And, the taste--wow. Great sauce, nice crust and tons of cheese. Look at the picture below and how much cheese is on that slice. And, that's the regular amount, not extra cheese! My husband's Ruben was huge and stuffed with corned beef with tasty homemade sauerkraut. The fries were crisp and was equivalent to probably three large orders of fries at a chain burger joint. Both of us were only able to eat half of our lunch. They must be used to this because the lady who took our order came around when we were about done, offering take-home boxes. Mannino's has beer on tap and also sells beer to go with a nice selection of domestic and foreign beers. The menu is extensive, covering 5 pages. Though mainly Italian, it offers some Mexican dishes and a Cuban sandwich which a friend told me was super. They also have seafood platters and a kids menu. Be sure to take a menu with you for the coupons. Great food, great service, friendly people. We will be back. read more

So I used the new "Slice" online ordering at Mannino's last night. Boy was that a mistake.... Never again... I ordered a large Sicilian Supreme pizza, my favorite.... and a Chicken Parm dinner. I got a plain ass Sicilian pizza and a chicken Parm Dinner. No big deal Right.... Yes it is... after checking the order online I did select the Sicilian Supreme Pizza. When I call I got an excuse. The entire order was incorrect and the pizza was crushed and cheese stuck to the top of the box. It was all cold from being so late. I called to ask for a refund and was offered 50%. I said that is unacceptable and eventually I was told I would get a total refund. The refund never came so a week later I called and the manager on duty hung up on me. We used to order from here frequently because they are a block and a half doemwn the road. Then one day i ordered my son a special they were running included burger small fry and a drink plus food for the rest of the family. They didnt deliver fries, called ask to have delivered girl on the phone with attitude wanted me to pick up the fries...then she came off hold and said they would be delivered in 15-20 minutes...it sucked but i paid delivery fee plus tip plus convoluted food price to avoid hassle of cooking. After half hour no fries show up i call back. Very good stuff. Finally made it out w/ the family. Started with small salads, which were too big to finish! They were loaded with peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese. They gave us complimentary house made garlic rolls, which may have been the best I remember having. A soft, semi-sweet, yeast dough topped with Parmesan and olive oil. Finally, we got an extra large pie, which we couldn't complete. It was delicious. Some of the best I've had in the area. Very much like Boardwalk style pizza. We even got a cannoli to go. My favorite pizza in the area is the three cheese pizza from Mannino's - it's a three cheese pizza with ricotta on it, and I absolutely love it. Their other pizzas are also good. I've found their non-pizza food, like nachos, are hit or miss. They're a little pricey but you can order online, which I like. I will probably never stop going there for my ricotta pizza. read more

I wanted very much to support a local business, but this was a disappointing experience. My husband had a cheesesteak and I had a chicken cheesesteak and they were both awful. Neither one seemed to have any cheese or the mushrooms we had ordered on them. Our side of deep fried mushrooms was cold and soggy on the inside. The roll for the cheesesteak that is shown in the on-line photos, why I ordered from here in the first place, is not the roll the cheesesteaks come with, which is just a run of the mill, so-so roll. It's snowing. A lot. But I just had a pizza and sandwich delivered right after I arrived home from work (yes, it was a looooong Moanday). Luv me some Yelp and my intrepid order/delivery woman-- she was AMAZING! Wahoooooo! Both Pizza and sandwich are, I must admit, DELISH! (Yes, I'm def a grazer!) I'm sorry I didn't get a pic-- I was starving!! My only regret? next time, I need to order more of their wonderful 1000 island for my tasty Turkey Reuben (I'm a saucy grazer!)-- perfect combo of flavors! And the pepperoni, onion, green pepper, and sweet pepper pizza is just the right kind of zesty. I continue to order delivery from Mannino's a few times a month. So glad this place opened since the other pizza places on Charlotte are not good. Great pizza! High quality ingredients are used for the pizza toppings, such as the sausage that is sliced in fairly large sized chucks, which I love. The pizza has a terrific sauce and nice crust as well. I do like a little Italian seasoning on top of my pizza, so sometimes I sprinkle that on at home when getting a delivery, which makes it even better. The white pizza is also really good and super cheesy with fresh garlic. They have the best pizza out of all the places that deliver to my house in Pottstown. The fettuccine alfredo is nice and creamy and the sauce tastes freshly made. Nice little side salad comes with the dinner, but once in a while the lettuce is a little brown if they put it in the heat bag with the hot food. The sauteed spinach side veggie dish is tasty with lots of garlic. Yes, I love garlic. My orders have always been delivered in the time they quoted or less time, and the delivery people have all been friendly and courteous. Overall, terrific! read more

This place is awful. I called to place a catering order - the girl on the phone was incredibly rude for no reason, not to mention she has no idea they even had a catering menu. She told me she would call me back to let me know if they could do it (it was only for 15 people). I never heard back so I called a couple hours later to double check. She hung up on me. I called again thinking we got disconnected. She hung up on me again. I called a third time - hung up on me again. I don't get it. I just wanted to place a catering order, I wasn't being difficult - no substitutions or anything like that, was happy to pay whatever price they asked. The outside doesn't look welcoming, the entry looks like take out only, don't let that fool you, keep walking past the beverage coolers to the dining room. Visited this afternoon. I'm not from the area, so I looked on YELP for some direction. Found this restaurant. It didn't look like much from the outside, not so great coming in the front door but the dining room looked nice and friendly. The menu was large with many tasty sounding food items. We went for one of the specials. It was an eggplant dish, rolled up and stuffed with ricotta and spinach. Pasta on the side preceded with salad and finished with desert. Complimentary red wine. All for $16.95, the food was great. I'll be back when I am in the area again. O don't let me forget the homemade garlic roll. read more

Food service and quality usually is great here. Pricing of the food is reasonable compared to some shops in the area. Now I'm not the only one who is aware of this. If you order from slice for Manninos Pizzaria. The driver doesn't receive the full tip ,only half ,supposedly due to fees ,etc. That's not the drivers fault there is fees if Slice is telling the truth. I was told on Slice the delivery person receives the whole tip. I'm not sure who to believe. I just don't think that's good business when the delivery person is the one running around for your business and looks forward to tips, some even count on the tips ,just to get buy. Or else why would they deliver for your company. Not sure if Slice is keeping a portion of the tip for the delivery person,or the business is. So I'd suggest if you use slice, tip in cash only.
