The grandma pizza is off the hook its the quality of ingredients used most people cheap out not here.

Blown away! House Special Chicago Deep Dish Pizza (pepperoni, sausage, green pepper, mushrooms, onion) was best I've had in PA. Crust was a perfect- golden crunch w/ lighter texture than most versions. Hesitant to get a load of toppings due to my fear of SBCS (Soggy-Bottom Collapse Syndrome); happy to report crust was firm, ingredients plentiful. Not only did this crust stand up to a 6-topping mix, it was loaded w/ cheese! The sauce was soo fresh tasting, not tinny or watery from a can, or over-processed from too long a cook on the stovetop, like Goldilocks, just right. I never review places for which I didn't order & eat-in the 1st time. This pie took a very long, sad, journey sweating in a cardboard box via DoorDash & STILL arrived looking & tasting like it just slid off the peel out of the oven. That's impressive. I'll be taking these gents a "Kiss The Cook" apron. read more

I came here by total accident, my truck broke down and while I waited for my ride I asked the owner if he cared if I came in and sat down. He welcomed me to do so. A few minutes after I sat down he came out with a hot slice of pizza and a drink for me and wouldn't allow me to pay for it. He didn't need to do any of that. First timer here. The five cheese New York style pizza was incredible! So much cheese, nice garlic flavor, absolute deliciousness. The veggie wrap was very flavorful and packed with chopped vegetables, black olives, and a little sharp provolone. I would definitely order it again. I think the owner was there when we dined tonight and he was very helpful and kind by helping box our food for us. All in all, a great experience, and I'm looking forward to returning. read more

This is the only pizzeria that makes a Sicilian Pizza that I enjoy. The crust is crispy rather than thick and doughy. I had a slice of Steak and Barbecue and a slice of Tomato Sauce and Cheese. Enjoyed them both. If only there was a way to get a slice of their Chicago Style Pizza. The owner is very friendly and quite enthusiastic about their pizzas. Definitely the "worst" deep dish I've had. I saw reviews claiming their deep dish is as good as the best stuff you can get in Chicago. So my wife and I drove out 40 minutes to try it out. Maybe this place is on par with the middle to lower end deep dish pizzas in Chicago but definitely not the best. I've had fantastic deep dishes in and outside if Chicago and the pizza my wife and I were served was mediocre to fair. The crust wasn't crisp or carmelized, the tomato sauce lacked the fresh acidic bite I've come to love and expect from a deep dish and overall the pie was just very bland. Really all the food we had was pretty mediocre and bland. We ordered Fried Ravioli, Chicken Fingers and the House Special Deep Dish and the honey mustard served with the chicken fingers was the most flavorful thing we were served. Disappointing. I hadn't stopped here for about a year and decided it was time. The service was professional and friendly and the salad I ordered was a nice size. It was the pizza that was the problem. I ordered some regular slices and some Sicilian and they both tasted funny. There was a sour aftertaste (like something had gone bad) to all of it. I've never had this experience with pizza before. It was really unpleasant and also embarrassing, as I had gotten pizza for some guests as well. I won't be going back. COVID update - they are open during COVID for dine in and pick-up. They ask that you wear a mask when ordering. read more

This is a solid hidden gem in North Coventry. I urge you to go in and try a slice of their Chicago style pizza. The crust is actually quite airy and light and delicious so it is not as heavy as you think it is. Very good pizza, but what I really like here are their specialty sandwiches. I recently had a Fat Sammy here. It had steak, bacon, grilled onions, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, cheese, buffalo sauce and ranch. Whoa mamma Lord have mercy. Oh and their wings are bomb. I can't comment on the pizza as I ordered subs instead. Here's what we thought: The delivery was FAST! It was estimated for 1:00pm but arrived at 12:37. I like that. No hassles and easy to order online. The grinder was fantastic! Spicy but so delicious. The cheese and meats were crisp and warm at arrival. Small but packed full of flavor. It wasn't 99% lettuce and tomatoes like some places do. The chicken cutlet was good. The sub was a little dry and missing something. The actual chicken was perfect! Soft breading and tender to the bite. Very well done on that aspect. Also, not loaded down in onions and nothing else. Overall, fast and friendly delivery. Good food for the price. First off , it's not New York style . It's average pizza and the cheese blend is not mozzarella or at least real mozzarella it's gets hard and dry like imitation. Their Greek salad is ice berg olives and feta that's it . My wife liked their wings . Fast delivery, and I did eat there once before and thought I would give them a second chance. I had a bad experience then , the waiter never talked to me or my son just flirted with my wife and never asked how our food was . In a nutshell average food but fast delivery. I plan to update this review when I decide to give this place another try. Perhaps I should order deep dish, but I went with one of my favorites, Grandma pie, and was sorely disappointed. Sauce was so bland and boring, sliced mozzarella was quite undercooked, so many times, the whole piece of cheese came off with a bite. You can't go wrong here. Chicago Deep Dish pizza is to die for. Love the sauce. Their Sicilian pizza is awesome. The crust is very light and crisp, not weighed down and doughy like other Sicilian pizzas. Their wings are decent but are a little chewy. We like our wings not so jerky like. In a country where every little town claims their pizza is the best my answer Is that is because you haven't tried Gennaro's yet! Fast, friendly service in a strip mall. Pizza prepared fresh, piping hot and right out of the oven ! The thin crust was superb.. very thin crispy with the right amount of sauce and not too much cheese. The pizza held its crispiness slice after slice. The deep dish was overstuffed and could not be eaten without the aid of a fork and knife .
