As we arrived, ample free parking. Arrived on a Sunday night at 6 pm. We were seated immediately. The place is clean and comfortable. Washrooms are clean. They have Wifi for those of you with poor phone signals. It's the area. The waitress (Mia) was at our table within 2 minutes to get our drink order. Coke products. Service is very fast. The food is very hot. The kicker here is the servings for what we had. Stromboli are huge for the price. Mia kept on top of everything. Prices for other food items are very good. The pizza here is pretty good. The crust is not exactly like a New York pizza. We got extra cheese and 1/2 sausage. The extra cheese was overwhelming. Was looking for a place that was open. Found this place, called to ask (twice) about a coupon for 3 hoagies or steaks for $18.95. Was not sure the offer was still being honored. Called back and asked about the offer again (3x if we are counting). Ordered 1hoagie 2 steaks. Got to the store. They tried to charge me $25.86. I asked why? Tax on $18.95 should be less than $2. Total $21. They had the coupon price written on the tab they handed me. Manager claims price of beef went up. Claims I had to order with no additions. I only ordered free additions or deletions. Okay, but we agreed to$18.95 only 15 minutes ago. If you did not want to honor the deal, just say so! The roast beef hoagie might be the worst hoagie I have eaten. Wawa's is cheaper and tastier. Cheesesteaks were decent, comparable to the area. Sadly, after wasting my time and not honoring your deal, I will be going elsewhere for my fairly average cheesesteaks. read more

This guy stays on top of everything. The pizza is delicious, from the plain cheese and perfect sauce. Plenty of pizza options here! The square pie is perfectly baked every time, the cheesesteaks are meaty, well chopped ensuring the meat is tender, juicy and sweet, the hoagies are packed with meat, the salads are carefully created with fresh ingredients. The group who works there are organized, attentive and courteous. No doubt this business gets a volume of well deserved business. There is a drive up pick up window for take out orders, a spacious clean dining area and plenty of waiting room if picking up a order inside. I am very picky and so is my friend. We ordered a Sicilian slice, a white slice, hot wings and a grandma pizza with sausage. All excellent. Only negative was they should heat up the Sicilian slice a bit longer than a thinner slice because it was cold. I would definitely go back if I was in area. Located off N Charlotte St in the old McDonald. They have a good size parking lot to support the busy traffic. Seating area was nicely upgrade wishing they waitress / waiter, instead of self service. Every time we come to Pottstown Palarmos is always on the schedule. When I was told there was a change of management, the fear that the most amazing cheese steak sandwich may be altered, sunk my heart into my stomach. Gratefully, my trepidation was alleviated on our most recent visit. My family and I have been there a few times over the years, on the rare occasions we are in Pottstown. They are never disappointed. If I had one criticism it would be that I have one particular item I prefer to have omitted from my salads. I request it be left off. Without fail it is still added. I pick it off by hand and move on with my dinner. For good dinner and quiet relaxing atmosphere, I would recommend to anyone. Ok folks - my 2 year tenure as an official "pottstown-ian" I can proclaim with confidence and pride that this is the best pizza pie in town! For certain, with the thin crisp delicate crust and the flavorful, not too sweet sauce and the perfect ratio of fine cheeses...we have a winner!! I wont get pizza from elsewhere in town (OK , one exception to Thats Italian Trattoria margahrita pie..mmmm, mmmm)... This is my fave, and staple, great pizze pie joint in town. This is THE place to get pizza in Pottstown. It is mouth watering delicious. I can't recall any time I've had a bad pizza. Whenever I have friends up from Philadelphia, we usually order 4 or 5 pies and have never been disappointed with the service or the product. The pizza they make there are alittle greasy, but not in a bad way. With that said, if you aren't a fan of juicy pizza, then this might not be the place for you. They have a wide selection of menu items, although I can't vouch for the rest of the menu. I only get pizza from there. If you live in the area and you haven't had a pizza from here you are doing yourself a disservice.... or you are a big fat liar. read more

Near Gilbertsville and Boyertown also this restaurant is great. We love their stromboli. They have online ordering, makes it such a breeze to deal with. Honestly, for pizza and inexpensive Italian food, Palermo's is the best in Pottstown (and in the surrounding areas, in my opinion). I've been eating there since...well, since I was old enough for solid food. The pizza is just so good. Amazing crust, flavorful sauce, perfect amount of cheese. The white pizza is just as good - oh, the garlic! My only complaint is that some of the toppings could be better. They use canned mushrooms and the broccoli is chopped so finely that it's not even worth getting - this disappoints me, because veggie pizza is one of my favorites. The cheesesteaks are really good too. I've yet to find better, although I'll admit I haven't sampled many Philly cheesesteaks. I'm also a big fan of the eggplant parmigiana dinner, the calamari, and even the salad, which is always nice and fresh. My boyfriend is crazy for the mozzarella cheese fries and his brother favors the cheddar cheese fries. My dad is a fan of their large selection of beers and sodas. Really, I go there for the pizza - and so should you. read more
