The cheesesteak I ordered with fried onions was good. The Italian roll was soft and perfectly shaped to hold the cheesesteak stuffed within. There was plenty of meat, cheese and onions in the mixture. I liked the flavor. They offer 6" and 12" cheesesteaks but not the 18" size that I prefer to buy. The interior has been spruced up and they put a concrete ramp at entrance to eliminate the step down at the front door. The ramp was needed because I would sometimes forget about the step as I walked out and subsequently stumble. The staff was friendly and smiled. I will go back again.

The first disappointment was that this restaurant still advertises itself online as BYOB. We arrived with our favorite bottle of red wine only to be told they no longer allow BYOB. Normally, that wouldn't have been an issue--we would have happily ordered wine from the restaurant. The problem was the beverage selection. They handed us a drink menu that offered essentially one very inexpensive wine option, with no cocktails or meaningful wine selection. If you're going to eliminate BYOB, that's completely understandable--but you should offer a beverage program that justifies the change. The food experience didn't improve things. We ordered several hot sandwiches, which apparently meant the complimentary garlic bread was no longer included. Instead, we were charged an additional $6 for garlic bread and a small side of sauce. What arrived was one tiny piece of bread that was barely buttered and hardly resembled garlic bread at all. Charging extra for something that underwhelming was honestly surprising. To make matters worse, our waiter got our order wrong and then charged us for his mistake. Overall, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. Between the misleading BYOB advertising, the poor drink options, the disappointing garlic bread, and the billing error, we won't be returning. It's a shame, because this used to be one of our favorite places.

Could have used a bit more mozzarella. The special pie was cooked well but a bit awkward with the toppings all diced up and not cooked into the pie. Everything was falling off while handling and the cutlets were diced smaller than the tomato pieces. It was certainly tasty. Not your typical CBR pie. Reasonable prices and we were in and out within an hour. Looking forward to trying more items. A great addition to the area.
