Strong traditional Italian ambiance at every nook and cranny with multiple lined cans of Alta Cucina plum tomatoes showcasing the dining room adding a nice touch. They really took time emphasing the Italian decor to provide a warm inviting space. The server was a verbal phenom to say the least and made my short stay enjoyable. The oversized pizza slice was ordered med-well to provide the best chance of a crispy charred cornicione and thats exactly what I got. It was a beautiful cold day, so I sat at the only little table on the front porch. Noticed the glistening cheese layer was thick and lightly oiled, so let it sit for a few minutes to settle. Gripped the charred edge and the NY style flat undercarriage easily passed the Flop Test and stood straight at attention with a smile. At first and second bite the tangy sauce was still burning hot well insulated by the cheese. The third bite produced a far unexpected experience. The entire left side of the cheese began to slowly drop from the edge and finally onto my plate. After hundreds of pizza reviews, this issue has only happened a few times, specially if it was requested med-well done. Still devoured the rest of the slice and loved the crust. So not too sure what happened at Mannino's today but it left me scratching my head, was this just an off day? I dont get out this way too often, but my next travel to Tamarac I may give this place a second shot for redemption and to increase the star rating. I'm giving kudos to the cleanliness of the dining room and the gender assigned bathroom, which was recently mopped by the staff and boasted a beautiful white pedestal sink and red brick flooring.

Food: Veal Parm: 7.7 - pretty good, well constructed... something to work on would be the veal parm extending to same length of the bread. Flavor was good. Service: Delivery Ambiance: Delivery Would definitely order again.

This is truly a family owned business. The wait staff was visible and welcoming throughout our meal. The restaurant has a dining room with several large round tables and and then tables against the wall for 4 persons. They also do a large to go business. The chicken Marsala was a huge portion enough for 2 meals.the sauce was thin but flavorful and cooked for easy cutting. The pasta cooked perfectly. The best was as we were leaving what appear to be Mom and Dad sitting off to the side saying goodbye to the customers.

Mannino's Italian Restaurant Tamarac, FL One of my fave spots to grab pizza. Amazing service in a family friendly ambiance. They always have great deals! 2 slices and a soda for $7 is a win for me! After being in Tamrac for years, my wife and I finally tried Mannino's. I've read about it, passed it, parked in front of it, just never went inside. After having a Pizza and salad I realized what a big mistake I made not coming here sooner. This place is a gem! It's a very big shop with plenty of seating. There is also a smaller area with a TV. Perfect if your coming in for a slice or two. Conveniently located in a nice size shopping center so it's an easy in and out with plenty of parking. We sat down and our waitress came right over. Incredibly friendly and welcoming. She immediately made us feel like regulars here. I'm from Long Island, NY so I'm always looking for that perfect NY style pizza... they definitely came very close to my regular stop. The ambiance was quiet and relaxing. There were not a lot of people here and the tables are really spread out so you're not sitting on top of the next table. Service was fantastic. My wife had a small salad and I asked for the pizza cooked well. The salad was fresh-cool-and crispy, perfect. The pizza came out exactly as I asked. A little well done which gives the crust a nice crunch. Plenty of sausage and mushroom topping and the cheese and sauce were delicious. This was another perfect experience as a first timer. I just love that!! KUDO's to the team at Mannino's

It was our first time at Divieto ... although my husband thinks we've been there before. (Ummmm,…read moreno, no we haven't.) Anyway, in any case, we enjoyed it thoroughly, and that's why I'm doubling down that we haven't been there before - we would have been back! It was our anniversary and a Saturday, and fortunately we went early enough to avoid the rush. The hostess was lovely and, when I mentioned we usually like to sit at the bar, she said not to worry about our reservation and sit wherever we like. We ended up at a table because the bar was pretty crowded and we wanted a more quiet evening. So, Ben was our server and he was fantastic! He gave me a solid recommendation when I asked for his opinion, he was attentive without being a pest, and he had a great personality. I don't rave about a server, but he was a gem! We had a Caesar salad, spaghetti and meatballs and calamari. My husband said the spaghetti and meatballs were very good and the calamari was one of the best I've had anywhere - totally crunchy yet tender. (Thank you, Ben, for the recommendation!) The meal is served with a crusty bread and oil with balsamic, and I love a crusty bread. We were treated to an anniversary dessert of a brownie with ice cream, and who doesn't like that?! Anyway, it truly was a nice evening. I can understand why the reviews are so positive, and it's always a pleasant surprise when expectations are not only met but exceeded!

For dessert, the tiramisu was a favorite, while the kids were very happy with their ice cream! For a larger group, everything came out pretty well and we enjoyed the overall atmosphere. There were a few things that could have been a little smoother, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars, but overall it was a fun dinner and a good experience. We'd definitely consider coming back!

Meh. I was really excited to try this place out since it's such a different vibe than what The Walk…read moreusually has, but honestly it was just okay. The ambiance gives off fancy, but the food wasn't worth the prices. I will say that their bruschetta is fantastic (did not take a photo). The large pieces of shaved parmesan with the pungent garlic mixed in the tomato and basil was delicious. I also really enjoyed my espresso martini (did not take a photo). The soup I ordered took forever to come out (did not take a photo). As we were waiting for our food, two tables surrounding us sent their food back so that worried us. As a result of that, it felt like it took longer than usual to get our meals since I'm sure the kitchen was scrambling to re-fire the meals sent back. My boyfriend ordered the lamb special and I went with the rigatoni alla bolognese. He enjoyed the lamb, but I was not impressed with the pasta. It wasn't horrible, but the pasta did not taste homemade or worth the money. Server seemed bored and uninterested. Did not offer to make any recommendations, but did give us free dessert of our choice for my boyfriend's birthday, so that was nice. The owner and other members of the staff personally delivered the complimentary key lime pie and sang him happy birthday. Would I return, nah.

I've been here several times over the years, but this was my dad's first visit, and it did not disappoint. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and the charcuterie selection was excellent. For entrées, we shared the wild boar ragù, pumpkin ravioli with sausage, and the ossobuco. Each dish showcased the restaurant's attention to detail and commitment to quality ingredients. The wild boar ragù was rich and comforting, the pumpkin ravioli struck a great balance of sweet and savory, and the osso buco was tender and flavorful. SLICE OF HEAVEN ?…read more This traditional pizzeria in Tamarac at the corner of the Casa Linda Plaza has been on my radar for a few weeks and wanted to try a slice. Arrived near opening time to assure a fresh slice of pizza. Paid only $3.00 and requested a well-done slice of heaven. Well, the experience was far from heaven as you will soon understand. The baker slid the cheese pizza in the oven and expected a tasty slice based on the scent emanating from the small kitchen. As a pizza enthusiast, I understood that a slice from a fresh cooked pizza would take at least ten minutes which was accounted for and a time disclaimer was voiced by the cashier/server. At around the fifteen minute mark the slice was at my table in a togo box which I requested since I was unsure where I was going to devour it. Excitedly opened the box and immediately noticed that the slice was not even close to well-done and the heavy cheese was a pile of goo on both sides dripping onto the wax paper. As I tried to lift the slice from the cornicione, half the slice was cemented down on the wax paper by an anchor of cheese. The upcoming unexpected part was comical. Presented the slice to the baker and for at least a minute, he made every diligent attempt to removed the slice from the wax paper with a spatula and seemed aggravated or maybe just pure exhaustion. Unfortunately, no video of this task exists, but I literally stood there in awe watching this while simultaneously laughing inside and confused. The baker was defeated and in angst threw the slice into the garbage and cooked a new one. Now closing in on twenty minutes, the baker displayed the slice which was still not well-done. Not sure if I was just a bothersome customer at this point and I would have gladly taken a refund and left. The baker was destined to get this right or maybe a personal goal at this point. He placed the slice back into the overworked oven and within another five minutes the slice was cooked well-done to perfection. Not exaggerating, it took twenty-five minutes to have my slice and only two minutes to scoff it down. Aside from the baking fiasco, the cornicione was crispy and the dark char on cheese was beautiful floating over a light tangy sauce base (I prefer heavier garlic) So actually the taste was far from the issue during my strange and rare experience at a pizzeria. The Wednesday large cheese pizza special for $12.99 as takeout or delivery is the best rate that I have encountered. The gender assigned bathroom was clean and had large bone colored porcelain tile flooring with basic appliances. The covered generator in the corner was an interesting addition as storage is probably limited.
