Took my mom for lunch. I have been there before and thought it was good. This time, we had some problems. I was happy to walk in and find out they now have kinishes. The woman who took my order told me all about them and asked if I wanted to add one to my order. I told her no, but I would definitely be ordering one to go. With that said, here is our experience. My pastrami sandwich was very good. The rye bread was good, but the crust was very hard and I could not bite throught it. My mom did not care for her corned beef sandwich and said the meat had a decent flavor, but was cut too thick. She also could not bite the bread's crust. Our latkes were tasty and you can't go wrong with Dr. Brown's cherry soda! Now, the disappointing part. I ordered take-out, one small chicken matzah ball soup and one potato knish. I ordered with the same woman who raved about their kinish and guess what, she forgot to include the kinish in my bag. She brought the take-out bag to our table and assured me everything was there. I asked if the kinish was there, to which she said, "yes, as is the soup". Drove home over 30 minutes and no kinish. When I called them, the woman who took my order and packed the bag said, "Oh". Yes, she credited my card, but still....I was so looking forward to that kinish. If you're used to NYC deli, this is not it, but it is decent. read more

Listen, it's hard to critique a Jewish deli when you've been spoiled for choice growing up. That being said- MANNY'S IS SO GOOD! I love that it's more of a to-go shop making it quick and easy to order online (if you choose) and be on your merry way. Sandwiches are good- my husband cannot stop talking about the GF bread (not typically the star of the show). When you find a good GF alternative you become an automatic return customer. IYKYK! Chicken soup is out of this world. We all (including the tiny queen) loved the large shreds of chicken and massive chunks of carrot and celery marinading in delicious chicken and dill soup. The customer service is completely unacceptable. We ordered via telephone and while the connection was not great, the personnel working the phones were clearly unprofessional, poorly trained and impatient . Upon pickup , the owner was abrasive and unwelcoming . He stated that he did not want our business and then proceeded to send us a text stating that we were rude and deserved the disrespectful service. Definitely very good. Friendly clean place in an outdoor mini strip mall in a parking lot. Nothing much to look at; it's small yet sunny. My first visit was to pick up a take out order. Our "go to" delis were closed at 5 pm on a Monday. Manny's was on my route home. The chicken noodle soup was delicious! My husband thought the extra lean corned beef was a little dry but it definitely satisfied his craving (we had sliced rye at home). Great location to stop in and pick up some of your favorite Deli staples. This location has Kippered (Baked) Salmon, Novo Lox, lunch meats, half-sour pickles, Dr. Brown's Black Cherry Soda. The reason for the three star review is they gave me an end piece when I was purchasing a 1/4 of a pound of Kippered Salmon. The end piece honestly should not be served, I understand this is over $40 dollars a pound fish and no one wants to take on wasting any of this expensive fish but the coloring on the end piece was almost a shade of red. This should not be served to any customer that is shelling out 40 plus dollars a pound. Furthermore, the quality of the Kippered Salmon was not as good as Ben N' Irv's or Pumpernickel's Deli, the fish was not as fresh or moist as the competitors. I will give them another try as the location really is great for me, but my first go around with them was not five stars by any means. As always people SYOY!!! Mammy's Deli Stop is located on the Pointe Shopping Center in Willow Grove. When I saw the "Now Open" sign, I was curious and went over. They have been open for a few month at this time. The employee greeted me with a big smile and gave me a menu and briefly told me about the place. The showcase was displayed with lots of fresh meats and salads. They have someone to handle every station. I went to the end of the counter to order a cheesesteak for me, and my husband got a hot Cornbeef sandwich. I must say they were delicious. The bread was nice and fresh, and a nice amount of steak with onions, lettuce,tomatoes, and cheese made for a good sandwich. The cornbeef sandwich can come sliced or chopped. He decided on the chopped cornbeef on rye bread and Cooper sharp cheese. He said it was delicious. I have been back to Manny's a second time to try a breakfast sandwich. I got a bagel sandwich with a fried egg, bacon, and cheese on a toasted everything bagel. It was delicious as well. I had wanted to try this deli so we finally got around to ordering delivery. I got a reuben w/corned beef and my husband got a roast beef sandwich. The rye bread was good and they got the order right. The reuben was still hot when it arrived. There was a lot of meat packed into the sandwiches, like most delis around here. However, I have a big problem with my $15 reuben. The corned beef was very tough. Instead of my teeth biting through it, they ended up pulling the meat out of the sandwich because it was too hard to bite through. I would prefer less meat and better quality. My husband said his roast beef was just okay, not as good as what we usually get, and certainly not worth $17.50 - no cheese or anything special, just lettuce and Russian dressing. I thought the prices were high when I was ordering but I read the reviews on Yelp and people seemed pretty happy with them, but I don't think the food was worth it, and I would not like tough corned beef under any circumstances! I couldn't eat the second half of the sandwich and could barely get through the first half because it was so tough. If they are going to charge so much for their sandwiches you would think they would at least throw in a bag of chips, or a pickle! Nothing, nada. We won't be ordering from here again. read more

Manny's is located in a strip of stores in the same complex as the Lowes at the corner of Welsh / Blair Mill. I stopped in to grab lunch on a Thursday afternoon in August. All orders are taken at the rear of the store then you pay at the front counter. I chose a Ruben and it comes hot, with a side of pickles. Over all the sandwich was good but at $15 it was no where near the size is was expecting. The Ruben is a solid B but the price is a D. Probably won't be back. read more

We stopped by the new location of Mannys Deli Stop in Willow Grove. Me and the wife split some fresh absolutely incredibly tasty perfectly crisped and just the right amount of salt potato latkes. WOW best latkes I've ever had. We're always up around here and for sure going to be stopping back for more of these potato perfections. Also grabbed some whitefish salad to top a bagel when I got home and it was incredible whitefish salad. I did not take a picture of that because it just doesn't photograph well ever but it looked great on the bagel with cream cheese,onions & tomatoes. Ordered a Ruben and a side order of the Latka (sour cream) still have yet to read their menu because other reviews said the Ruben was on point. They did not disappoint!
