The delivery people just dropped it in my kitchen no set up never even asked if we needed help setting up . About 2 weeks after I bought it the ice dispenser stops dispensing . I reach out to the email they told me to send a message to ... they responded and said to change the filter. I asked if that would affect the dispenser .... never got a response but they claim to give you a 3 month " warranty " . Bought a refrigerator from them. It was nice at first but then the compressor broke. I contacted Manny's and they finally got back to me after two weeks. After two weeks of not returning my calls a technician was finally scheduled. The technician came out on a Wednesday and said he would return Saturday with the parts needed to fix it. I asked the technician if everything was under warranty and he told me yes. When the technician arrived at my home he explained that there would be a $300 charge to fix refrigerator. PLEASE READ. A few months ago I purchased a refrigerator from Manny's discount appliances for $800 (big mistake). Within mere months the refrigerator completely died. I called Manny's to inquire why it died so soon after purchase . Manny kept repeating "it's out of warranty, why are you starting drama?" Why am I starting drama for demanding an answer as to why an $800 refrigerator died mere months after purchase? Manny became very angry and blocked my number . The day before I started calling I had an appointment with a "technician" who was a no call no show .. said he would come the next day but I had read all of manny's other reviews and I saw THE SAME REVIEWS from so many people . Manny's tech no calling no show, expensive appliances just dying on people, THE WORST customer service and ethics.. manny was so rude on the phone and his attitude was so obvious he couldn't care less about his customers satisfaction or lack there of. Anyway, I had a real Professional come and look at the fridge . He said "did you purchase this used? Because this compressor won't work with this refrigerator . It had to be bootlegged to work at all because this compressor doesn't go on this refrigerator and there's no way it would have lasted." He also informed me it would be $900 to get the correct part. He told me even the wiring was bootlegged. That can't be safe. NOW after I told manny I was considering taking him to small claims court because I dunno that all sounds pretty illegal to me, right ? The two guys that came to install the microwave both Hispanic that I have videoed on my ring camera installed the microwave but left my wife to clean up their trash on my counter in my cabinet on my stove in my toaster and left screws , lags, and bolts in my cabinet and on my countertop. I waited for almost a month for my property management to get me stove as it broke on July 9th. I called and spoke with Joann who advised they might not have a stove in stock, and would contact me back, I did not receive a response. I called they next day to check on the status, and was advised I would be called back with a schedule and delivery date, and I did receive a call. I called again to see when my stove would be delivered on Tuesday, and was advised it would be delivered Saturday first delivery. I spoke with Manny Saturday morning around 7 am, and was advised I was second delivery and he would arrive in a hour in a half. After an hour in a half, I called to check on the ETA, and was advised they were stuck in traffic, but were on the way. I gave my gate code three times as they asked for it every time we spoke. The gentlemen who arrived were nice and got the old stove out and the new stove in. I made sure to clean my stove, just in case they wanted to fix it and resale it. Then gentleman stated that it not busy on Saturdays at all, and I was his 4th delivery. But I thought they were stuck in traffic, and I thought I was first, then second in line for delivery? So I was lied to as there was no traffic, I was just made to wait until 4th delivery, which was the true reason they were late. The stove was used, and looked nice from what the eye could see. Once they left, I took a closer look at the stove, and I was shocked that any company could sell a stove in the condition I received it in. I rent this home, so I should not have had to spend 3 hours cleaning a stove that should have been cleaned before the sell. I have purchased stoves from the goodwill cleaner than what I received. I guess you get what you pay for. Most stoves come with two racks on the inside, this stove had just one rack. Joann advised that it is purchased as is, but would check to see if she could get another rack. Never received a call back. Joann advised they sent pictures over to my property management of the stove. I advised, so did I, and I would also make sure to leave a review and provide the pictures that I took of the stove as well. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. I went to go buy a Samsung stove which had a knob broken. I was told it would be repaired and I'd receive a call the next day. I didn't receive a call, and so called myself. I was asked for my phone number again and told I'd hear back. I tried stopping by that day (Sat.) in person but they seemed to be closed before the 4pm close time. I called again Monday after not receiving a call, told the appliance is in the back being worked on. Again, I was asked for my phone number to get a call back. Still no call back. I went in person Tuesday to see what's going on and the unit was back out with the knob fixed. But sold to another person!! But a "Sold" sign was put on it (on blue tape) for me from the beginning when I tried buying it so it'd be reserved for me!! I don't understand how they manage to stay in business with such horrible customer service. I bought a nice looking fridge and a washer and dryer from Manny's in October. I decided to buy used ones because I thought having a 3 month warranty meant they were likely to be in good shape. The fridge worked great for 2 1/2 months, then the freezer quit freezing. I called to see what they would do to help me out since I lived too far away for them to service it, but no one called me back. After a week I found a local repair guy to take a look and he found a bad fan motor. When he replaced that he discovered the compressor had been replaced, but they did a poor job and another part was burned out. By that time the fridge would not get below 50 degrees. He didn't think it was worth fixing. When I called Manny's again they said the warranty was void since someone else looked at it. I asked if they would buy it back for even $100 since I realize I'm too remote to take chances with used appliances, but was told no, though they would charge me more money to fix it. I am really bummed they wouldn't work with me and now I'm out about $700 and had to buy a new fridge. read more

Got a house to rent out which I did all the fixings and added new/used appliances. Searched on craigslist, thought I 'd give the discount stores a try and see what I can get. Stopped by Mannys after checking out a few places in the downtown area. We looked around, I picked out my fridge, washer/dryer/, and microwave. Prices were fair. I even got a discount on 50 off the microwave because it was dented on the side. Total price was about 1300, which I paid in cash with 200 deposit. On day of delivery, Juan, not sure his name, but it was not Manny himself, calls me and says the fridge I had picked had an ice maker problem, so he did substitute it with a similar fridge. What I really should have done was skip the fridge purchase. Turns out, the replacement fridge was a lemon and had more than once source of problems. They even came out 2x since it was under the 3 month warranty, but both times have failed to fix the problems. I finally used my warranty to get it done right, after so many tries. The place knows how to work it, and replace your original items with the ones with problems. I recommend others to think twice and ignore this business. If things do sound too good to be true, go with your gut and move on. I will never be back here again. read more

We purchased an entire Samsung kitchen & laundry set of appliances from Manny at his Las Vegas store which we found through his Craigslist listings. We purchased all stainless items: a 4-door refrigerator, dishwasher, 5-burner gas stove, microwave and large capacity upright electric washer and dryer set. We paid a very good price, but in the end the equipment works very poorly. Manny and his son are very nice folks and offered some very good bargains on RETURNED/REFURBISHED Samsung merchandise. He claimed all his items were basically new with mainly cosmetic blemished. He said the items had been returned due to scratches or still not working after warranty returns (which he claims to have repaired). He said he was able to purchase from Sears and a Samsung dealer in the Los Angeles area for a very steep discount and would pass along the 10 year Samsung warranty, which made us very comfortable in case we had any repair issues. We have had nothing but trouble with mainly 2 of the appliances; the Samsung RF31FMESBSR/AA 4-door refrigerator and the Samsung DW80F600OTS/AA Dishwasher. Both are HORRIBLE! The refrigerator will not make ice. Manny and his associate Ismael have been to our home several times to try to fix it and could not. I then found out that Samsung would NOT honor their 10 year warranty program because these were "returned" items. I had to hire an independent licensed Samsung warranty company on my own dime to come out and assess the repairs. They replaced both water and ice valves, however, the icemaker still does not work. Then I purchased and replace both Main assembly circuit boards brand new and still no icemaker. Contrary to what Manny told me, there is NO WARRANTY on any of the items he sells because Samsung informed me that Manny is not an authorized dealer, therefore Samsung will not stand behind any of their crappy products that Manny sells. Now the dishwasher will not complete a cleaning cycle and I will again have to hire a service company on my own dime to repair since Manny will not return calls or text messages, though he keeps promising to come and fix the items. I have since replaced the main circuit board in this unit myself and seems to be working, no help to Manny. I do NOT recommend any SAMSUNG appliances to anyone as I have read too many complaints now, too late. Repair tech's are having many of the same issues I am having on all Samsung appliances they service. I also DO NOT RECOMMEND MANNY DISCOUNT APPLIANCE IN LAS VEGAS for any purchases unless you're ready to fix your own equipment and gets lots of lip service. We rent a home that came with a small apartment size fridge so we decided to buy a used side by side and put the small one in the garage. We scoured craigslist and saw a few being sold by private parties. We were looking at spending $250-300. We came across Manny's and decided to go look. He had a good selection at about $100 over our price range but they looked better than the ones we had seen plus he claimed to give us a 3 month warranty. We bought a stainless Kitchen Aide side by side for $400 and paid him $50 to deliver. He delivered and later that day we realized the ice maker was not dispensing and found that a part was missing. We called and he said he would order. Then it started leaking. My fiance fixed the first leak and then it started leaking in another area. Every time he fixed one leak, another would happen. Manny came out to fix and brought a new ice tray but it was all cracked so my fiance took the part off that one and rebuilt the one we had. Manny "fixed" out leak but we noticed water again later that night. In looking for the source we saw that he had just bypassed the filter which was the source of the leak and didn't tell us. When my fiance called him he said he would just install an inline filter instead of fixing the part. He is sending us pictures of the broken part that Home Depot carries and said we can pick one up for a mere $50. What?? What is a 3 month warranty worth if after 24 hours you won't honor it? My experience has been that my dryer broke, they came and exchanged it for a lower quality machine than I originally purchased, it broke the same day, and have not been able to resolve. I finally threatened to sue to get thier attention and then all the sudden he offered a partial refund and said he doesn't want to step foot in my house again. I went to pick up my refund on the Dryer and they tried to confiscate my receipt, I said excuse me that receipt is my property. I was then asked to wait outside. I said why are you being rude to me, I am the one who has been inconvenienced here, I am a customer. Then I was told, no you are not a customer, you threatened to sue us, you can go wait in your car.
